Spreadsheet | Commencement | Replays | Schedule
  • Follow all rules listed here.
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for hosts to make decisions for activity calls when we can see what went down with scheduling.
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to the hosts or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.
  • Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.
  • Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.
  • Managers: Please send me your lineups in the same format that I used to post pairings. It makes it much easier to post future rounds more quickly.

6 right, 6 wrong -> Total score: 32W / 23L / 7 invalid overall, no shot I'll be negative by the end of the tournament

I've not liked Monferno's builds in recent times, and it feels like Maybca feels that burnout/struggle to build high-quality teams. If you compare it to 5dots right now, I don't think their SV slots have a good chance to beat them due to Stareal and 5dots bringing better teams and being the better players. Mh is probably the only slot I can see Monferno taking a win since Dunoks had a strong performance and has a better shot against Mh as a player and building. But realistically I think Machoke's SV slots are cleaning up here rather than losing a slot.

Skysolo vs Maybca has a lot of intensity here as things happened when they played earlier this NFEPL :worrywhirl:
Last time they played it looked like Maybca had the advantage on the matchup aspect, however, I think Skysolo will beat Maybca as they've more data to understand how he is playing and building. Skysolo is also a much better player and can adapt more of Maybca's playstyle, while I can't tell the same with Maybca vs them. It can be close, but I am more confident that Skysolo is locking in and I can see Maybca feeling the pressure outside of the game, something like IRL and having to focus on SV NFE slots. I am looking forward to this match extremely much though.

Let's be real, both of these teams had poor drafting when it comes to SM, but it helps that the whole auction didn't treat SM slots as seriously so the picks were less consequential. Like who gives Nuzleaf both Stevy and Neomon to Nuzleafs for 3k??? Seriously, the SM pool was extremely weak in comparison to other NFEPLs and I felt insulted by how SM was picked in auction rofl. Besides the rant, both of these players are negative in SM but if I have to give to one it would easily go to Gorex. Monferno's work on the SM slot has been pretty disappointing, and I don't see DB winning in the building aspect unless they get some help outside of their team. While Gorex has essentially buddies that could give SM teams(*cough* former Nuzleaf *cough*), I think Gorex has adapted to SM much better by far. Gorex is going to clean this up, and that's not a surprise as I've not seen Sealoo and Maybca solve the problem in the past 5 weeks.

As much as I am impressed with Sealoo's performance and prep mind, I'm not a fan of how he builds in this tier as I delved into the tier. It impresses me he wins these types of teams because it feels like a poor presentation of how the tier looks like, at least some of the teams. He doesn't deserve all this smack, it's just me thinking the meta is EXTREMELY underdeveloped, and Sealoo isn't doing a good job as he tends to repeat the building patterns that it feels too "complacent" I suppose. But I can't stay mad as Sealoo backs it up with good plays and his 3-0 record speaks for itself. But there's the issue I don't how Sealoo's builds will work vs Leni. Leni's teams have some obvious repeats here and there like Rest talk Ebuzz and Taunt/Toxic Golbat, but his teams overall have been extremely clean(Good shit Velcroc) and I feel like they're the type of teams everyone has to watch out for. I also think Leni is a much better player as well. While Sealoo isn't making bad moves I have a feeling Sealoo isn't willing to take the risk that could lead him to great positions, while I think Leni is willing to do that, though the risk is questionable since Leni will condition you to make the moves he wants you to go for.
Speaking of the match, both of them didn't play each other in week 2 since Sealoo got subbed in. Looking at that match in the preview, it looked rough for Leni because they had poor answers against Tspikes Roselia, but fortunately, Leni just played it out and took heavy advantage of their teams having no strong answer to Toxic Golbat and Raf playing ND NFE for the first time(poor guy ;_;). Therefore there are more reasons to be excited to see this match because it will be the first time they will be playing, but this time Leni has more understanding of the tier so it makes me curious how Sealoo will surprise Velcroc/Leni since he has that meta-knowledge he can take advantage of.

This NFEPL has been very interesting tbh as week 5 was extremely intense on how things could have gone out lol. However, I think playoffs will be a clear winner for Machoke's in the semis, then Qwilfish for finals. SS NFE slots have been the most interesting part for me based on how there wasn't a truly clear best player; everyone can legit beat each other LOL. The SM pool has drastically lost the quality though, which is insane because SM is usually that tier that's very developed and usually had the scariest players in previous ones. There was a clear look at whose SM slot was the best and who was going to struggle. If there will be a next time, please take more consideration of it, and probably force Quagg to make a SM NFE PR :P

Yeah I was really busy, let me cook now shing.
ALSO GO GO GO GO MONFERNO
dunoks Dragonillis TTK sealoo db

I did 3 predicts, went 3-5 the first time, 5-7 the second time, and 4-8 the 3rd time, i think it's safe to say that i am less accurate than a coin, so i am gonna do my predicts and a predicts according to a coin

Machokes (4) vs Monferno (2)
SV NFE: mh vs Dunoks - i haven't been impressed by builds from mh and i think Dunoks had the better plays overall during the pool phase, although i wouldn't be shocked by mh winning too
SV NFE: Stareal vs TTK - Stareal is one of the best players of the pool in my opinion and his builds are original and solid enough to take down any of the SV slots from Monferno
SV NFE: 5dots vs Dragonillis - They both have their own builds that have worked for them, although it is a close match to me, i'm gonna give the edge to 5Dots, sorry french homie
SS NFE: The Strap vs Maybca☆〜ゝ。∂ - I feel like both are going to tryhard asf the prep, and it will honestly comes down to who gets the better MU i feel like, i'm more familiar with Maybca than i am with The Strap, so i'm gonna give the win to Maybca here, but this will be a very interesting match build-wise and play-wise
SM NFE: Gorex vs db - It feels like both SM slots have not been shining throughout the pool phase, however i think Gorex is the better player
ND NFE: Leni vs Sealoo - Interesting pairing, i don't know shit about NFE but Leni is a great player and has been doing very well this tournament, so i believe that Machokes are getting the win here
Pile (= Heads) are Machokes
Face (=Tails) are Monferno
SV NFE: mh vs Dunoks - Pile ! First coinflip and i already disagree with the coin, this is gonna be interesting
1724675392878.png

SV NFE: Stareal vs TTK - Pile ! Alright the coin does believe in Stareal just like myself, looks like the coin wants Machokes to win so far!
1724675474431.png

SV NFE: 5dots vs Dragonillis - Pile ! Again the coin really thinks Machokes's SV slots are better damn a big 3-0 for Machokes so far
1724675543166.png

SS NFE: The Strap vs Maybca☆〜ゝ。∂ - Pile ! Wtf is this rigged??? I don't know what Monferno did with their coins but you do not have the coin in your favor
1724675610484.png

SM NFE: Gorex vs db - Pile ! Lmao the coin is predicting a destruction from Machokes damn
1724675686413.png

ND NFE: Leni vs Sealoo - Pile ! Well lmao i swear i did not rigged it, the coin is going all in for Machokes, Monferno you better watch out for your luck because the coin has manifested some sort of curse towards you at this point
1724675879087.png

Machokes (6) vs Monferno (0)
My predicts :
Machokes (4) vs Monferno (2)
SV NFE: mh vs Dunoks
SV NFE: Stareal vs TTK
SV NFE: 5dots vs Dragonillis
SS NFE: The Strap vs Maybca☆〜ゝ。∂
SM NFE: Gorex vs db
ND NFE: Leni vs Sealoo

Coin predicts :
Machokes (6) vs Monferno (0)
SV NFE: mh vs Dunoks
SV NFE: Stareal vs TTK
SV NFE: 5dots vs Dragonillis
SS NFE: The Strap vs Maybca☆〜ゝ。∂
SM NFE: Gorex vs db
ND NFE: Leni vs Sealoo

We both expect Machokes to win but the coin really expect a destruction whereas i expect this semis to be quite close still, we only disagree on mh vs Dunoks & The Strap vs Maybca, so these are going to be the decisive games between my score and the coin's score.

Accurate prediction from me 2-4
Accurate prediction from the coin 4-2

Ggs, shoutout to my great co-captain Maybca☆〜ゝ。∂ for being much more active and helpful than me LMAO i didn’t really wanna manage this but figured why not.

db enjoyed saying i hate you and fuck you many times, lets do it again sometime?

dunoks ur nastyyyyyyy insanely good clicker and pretty funny too

AM admittedly you were more of a maybca pick but despite a 0-2 record you were pretty nice to have around. Having someone just nodding their head to my nd yap was appreciated lmao

Dragonillis the BACTERIA….maybca highly recommended u and you were pretty solid. Appreciate the scouts and just miscellaneous talks about whatever. Hope to see you again

raf record def wasnt up to your own expectations but you conferred with db on sm which was great for us since sm was pretty much our sack slot lmao. Also appreciate you subbing in nd that one week goat. Can you give me the female dynamos ca tho you only use the male one

TTK even tho u went neutral ur games were impressive for someone Who i thought was just a mono player LOL. Good shit bro keep killing it in ndpl

yonmd ngl you did nothing but ily still

4-0 is nice in the most competitive stage nd nfe has been on so far. Semis of the open despite SV being terrible during gligar meta was also enjoyable. Thanks for having me, yall are a nice community!
