3d vs Rewer - Rewer has turned it up a notch lately and I am impressed with his form overall, but 3d’s ladder runs have been on par with the best of the best and I think he is motivated to change the narrative surrounding his playing tenure. Gonna give 3d the edge and I think he is a dark horse to make a deep run into playoffs.
SpookyZ vs Tace - Love Spooky’s team selections, but I do think Tace has been playing a steady game the last year or so, will give him the edge in one of the closer sets of the round just based on my confidence in him as a pilot.
bbeeaa vs (Winner of INSULT vs Ahsan-219) - Bea Insult feels like a semifinals matchup more than a win-and-in game, rough draw. Genuinely close to a coinflip, but I think bea has a crafty style that could give him the edge if Insult doesn’t prepare thoroughly. Will be a delight. Hard to count out Ahsan, but think he is overmatched with such a rough draw.
mimilimi vs SupaGmoney - Feel like whenever I watch either play, they’re making slick maneuvers en route to victory. I admire Mimi’s teambuilding, which is one of the less conventional out there. Supag has done a nice job distancing himself from being a stall main only, too. Both are great, but with only one advancing, I’ll lean SupaG, who has looked strong the last few weeks and avoided misplays he may have previously made.
Welli0u vs Skarpherim - Probably just a bit better in OU right now. Not as familiar with Skarph though.
(Winner of crying vs yovan33321) vs Mako - Mako is just a winner. Feels like no matter the generation or the tournament, she exceeds expectations. Got a good feeling about her run and I think she’s become one of the stronger all-around competitors on the site. Never know with Crying ofc and Yovan has done an amazing job in SV OU, but could be a tough one for either.
