MPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: The main season will be cut short. This is the last round of the main season. Everyone with score 4-2 or better will qualify, unlike the previous expectations which was 5-2 or better
I think because of players dropping out mid season, we fell from the "7 week bracket" to a 6. As this rounds ends, we will only have 3 people with a record of 6-0. It makes no sense to float one of them up to a 7-0 record as the other two fight for it. In addition, by the end of this week we'll have 65 players, an almost perfect size for a knockout bracket.
I think this will only boost people up. There shouldn't be any situation in which players would have been able to go 5-2 without also being able to go 4-2 or 5-1. The next two weeks will be a combined round, as everyone has two weeks to play their set, except for the bottom two 4-2 by seed, which first have to fight each other, then the winner plays someone else. Feel free to DM or hmu on discord with any questions

About Swiss Format
This tournament uses a Swiss format, where everyone plays as long as they can make knockout bracket. The knockout bracket will be single elimination, with size depending on playercount. All matches will be a Best of 3 in SV Ubers UU.
Once Round 7 concludes, there will be 66 qualified players who went 5-2 or better. There will be a break weak in which the four lowest resistance players within 5-2 will play, bringing the total to a neat 64. Seeding will prioritize ranking, with players who achieved a qualifying record being seeded higher the earlier they qualified. Within ranks, these players will be ranked by Resistance, which is the cumulative win percentage all of their opponents throughout the Swiss phase.

About Activity Decisions
Activity Decisions / Coin Flips: In the event that there is an uncompleted match at the deadline, it will be coin flipped unless one or both of the players involved in the match specifically request an activity win and explain sufficiently why they deserve to win over their opponent. Attempting to schedule a battle is required in order to receive the win by activity. To make it clear that you are requesting an activity win when you post, you must open your post with "Activity Win Request" in bold.
For example, if you believe your opponent is making an unfair request and that they don't deserve the activity win over you, you can either make your own request or quote their post and explain why they don't deserve it. You should try to make your activity win request posts at least 24 hours before the deadline to give your opponent a reasonable opportunity to contest it with their own activity win request.
Host discretion will be applied for all unplayed games. This means that an activity win will not be automatically granted if you post, and a lack of post does not automatically result in a coinflip.
