Standard Rules and Clauses
  • Endless Battle Clause: Players cannot use any moveset on any Pokémon capable of intentionally causing an endless battle. Thus:
    • A Pokémon may not carry Recycle and hold a Leppa Berry in conjunction with Heal Pulse and Milk Drink, Moonlight, Morning Sun, Recover, Roost, Slack Off, Soft-Boiled, or Wish.
    • A Pokémon may not hold a Leppa Berry while carrying Recycle and Pain Split.
    • A Pokémon may not hold a Leppa Berry while carrying Recycle and Fling
  • Evasion Clause: Players cannot use the moves Double Team or Minimize.
  • OHKO Clause: Players cannot use the moves Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill, or Sheer Cold.
  • Species Clause: Players cannot have two Pokémon with the same Pokédex number on the same team.
  • Gravity Sleep Clause: Sleep moves with below one hundred percent accuracy may not be used in conjunction with Gravity.
Pokémon Restrictions
Players can only use Pokemon that are currently either obtainable in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet or transferable to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Players cannot use the following abilities:
  • Shadow Tag
For the 2024 Doubles Circuit, there is a 3-way tie for seed 16 in the Doubles Invitationals. Therefore, the three tied players will play a round robin of BO3 matches of SV DOU, to determine a winner who will take the remaining spot in Invitationals. As there is only a single spot, if someone wins both their matches then they will advance and the remaining match is not required to be played. If each player wins and loses one match each then the bracket will reset and the three players must play each other again, until someone wins both their matches. If you play the third match and there is a bracket reset, you do NOT need to wait for me to say to play again, and please play the rematch against your last opponent immediately if convenient to do so.

The deadline (hopefully) for the tiebreaker is Sunday, 1st December at 11:59PM GMT+0. I was waiting on confirmation that everybody qualified wanted to participate in Invitationals in the first place before posting so I know it's a bit short notice, but if you could please try to play this weekend if possible in case a reset is needed to be played next week that would be ideal, thanks and good luck!

Ignore the above, due to someone's points being counted against two different usernames due to a change name, there is actually a 4-way tie for seed 16 in the 2024 Doubles Invitationals. This means there will be a 4-player bracket where 1st seed plays 4th and 2nd plays 3rd, with the two winners then facing to decide who takes the single spot in Invitationals. Seeding will be determined by deepest run (most points in a tour), using second/third deepest runs to break further ties.

The four tied players are seeded as follows:
1. sir jelloton - (8 points, 5 points)
2. luisin - (8 points, 3 points)
3. Fangame10 - (7 points, 6 points, 4 points)
4. raf - (7 points, 6 points, 3 points)

The matchups are:
