Rules
  • Follow all rules listed here.​
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for me to make decisions for activity calls when I can actually see what went down with scheduling.​
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to me or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.​
  • Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.​
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.​
  • Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.​
  • Managers: Please send me your lineups in the same format that I used to post pairings. It makes it much easier to post future rounds more quickly.​

Game comes down to a Speedtie and maybe a scalemiss which imo did not matter much. Maybe at Turn 12 if there is a tera fighting chance SiTuM shd take it right away? Or it just is not a tera fighting band koraidon. Anyway.

Not much you can do when your tera met a Critical hit even if you are 3 layers up.

Frito did the best against webs with this horrible mu. Scarf lando only works occasionally and also xu9 is experienced enough to predict it coming.

Meru brought an anti-offense team: a scarf koraidon as reveal in the game, posing zero threat against lando+hooh+arc F+kyogre; Zacian-C get called out early by WW, while also got checked by lando and even having a bad time to pass tinglu without intrepid sword; Meru also has no solid switchin for ruination, kyogre and sacred fire combo, which means the Hooh/Arc Water backbone is gonna be overloaded quickly, while the reasonable win path for meru is toxic terapagos. TJ take the win without much surprise.

The game was in 8truc favor with hat singlehandedly chip -70% on gliscor and wall that non-fairy-touching Eternatus. With the choiceband ada Dclaw hitting Skeledirge for over a half and correctly called kyogre on the Zac switchin, it seemed so over for lana by turn 7; but somehow 8truc did not push further by teraing kyogre immediately to claim kills; instead, he preserved until the veryend when everything is already settled. That allowing lana to restore the rhythm, position the waterceus timely with rain in effect and put rocks successfully. Even tho 8truc take down Skeledirge, with Lana calling SD correctly with zac and claims a tinglu for free, the game start to be in favor for lana since hat becomes a do-nothing wall given that lana has stolen a stealth rock earlier. 8truc teams consist of all Choice-item breaker, so when gliscor is allowed to heal back to healthy, the game is kinda over for 8truc. One funny part is that 8truc was using Future sight on lunala, yet he did not try to recover its hp in the mid-late game against eternatus/arc water as FS+kyogre/koraidon is literally the only method to break gliscor with its remaining mon. The game ends with Lana revealing an Iron shot koraidon. What you can learn from this game? Don’t use FS lunala.

A big penguin on the screen, and yes we know it may wall some eternatus with its typing but it’s a do-nothing wall overall… or honestly does it do better than spdef NDM, who also provides rocks and knock? Anyway.

Despite all the shit-talk on the penguin above, it was the actual MVP for Skyiew in the game as 7u9i2 was giving a zero-f on hazard-removal with his non-HO team consisting a Demon NDM. Skyiew played the game correctly and there is not much to do for 7u since the penguin stopped most set-up attend for 7u’s Demon ndm. After Skyiew set-up his electriceus and burnt 7u’s tera, 7u was way too behind that its Demon NDM do not have enough recovery pp for it to reverse swap.
