i have not done any predictions this tour... and thats on me! but i feel in a predicty mood so here we go
Tenacious Technicians (6) vs (4) Leaf Guard Dancers
SV: Lana vs Soul King0 - not exactly inspiring play from either of these two this season but i do think the overall quality of soul king's competition has been higher and and i personally trust his play a bit more so will favor him
SV: Heatranator vs liliou - tough week from heatranator last week but hes done pretty well for himself this tour and now hes playing vs a team thats been floundering and has begun throwing everything at the wall, i think it should be fairly straightforward that heatranator has the advantage
SV: Ac1D vs akxhdwy - for similar reasons as the heatran pick above Ac1d has done reasonably well for himself and ak is cracking the lineup for the first time this week so should be reasonably advantaged for the technicians
SV: Rio Vidal vs hi.naming is hard - gew has had a surprisingly strong season, myself personally did not think he would string together this record based on some of his past results but hes for sure been one of the bright spots in an otherwise very disappointing szn for the dancers, he has clear edge over rio
SS: sol vs The Strap - THE STRAAAAAAAAP, this is definitely the most interesting matchup for me in this set, ive teamed with the strap before ive seen how he gets down and he has a history of great ss results, all that being said i really am pulling for sol to get the W, that would lock in his first positive rupl season in who knows how long which is always pretty cool
SM: DugZa vs lza - dug one of the few guys left with a pristine 5-0 record coming into this week but his sm team last week was less than inspired to me and he got to play a non game bc of a t2 freeze on regi, conversely i like the look of some of the teams lza been bringing lately and his play has been bouncing back after a tough start of the season
ORAS: Envy vs The Hisui Region - both these guys are kinda placeholder names both teams had to flex in after their original team constructions werent working so its hard to say how it'll pan out, in oras experience tends to triumph tho and envy does have at least 2 more games than thr this tour so edge to technicians
BW: seraphz vs Raceding - bw ru
ADV: SpoiledBerries vs Indulge in dreams - to say the berries season has been underwhelming thus far would be a sever understatement for my goat... but pedigree is pedigree and although their records are the same i will putting my faith in adv ru all timer berries
Bo3: TheFranklin vs Metallica126 - metallicas been battling the mental game all szn and having to source like all the teams for his squad all season and thats just not great for him esp now as we get into the back stretch of the season, vs frank too it feels like a clear favorite for the ru tl
MrSpeed Boosters (5) vs (5) Deranged Hustlers
SV: THE_CHUNGLER vs seed - leader of the best sv core in the tour should be a no brainer to be the favorite here, seed has put together a solid tour vs nice comp but i think there are levels to this and this week is a differently level
SV: Daharan vs DripLegend - both these guys are 4-1 coming into the wek which is commendable but again i think theres levels to this and daha is a substantial step above some of the other names drip has been playing into, drip has also been one of those plug and play stall/HO pilots that have come into style this tour and thats just not smth im exactly inspired by
SV: Akotelette vs Cielau - the glaring weakness in the substantial sv powerhouse of the mr speedboosters has been this sv slot, theyre damn near winless amongst the carousel of players theyve thrown into this slot and it will continue to be a problem until proven otherwise, ciel has also had a pretty good tour and is someone id trust to get a w here
SV: Slikkles vs Quinn - really really tough tour for quinn, just hasnt seemed to get his feet under him and now hes up against big slikkles, hard not to bold for slikkles who has put together a really strong tour thus far
SS: C0nfiden1 0yster vs Sirwings - hustlers have seemingly given up on the nunes experiment which is sad but reasonable, he started off super hot but after getting lucked by runo has been on a slide, a week off is probably a good idea, as such although 0yster himself has not had the greatest season of all time he should still easily be the favorite
SM: db vs Bouff - db has had a surprisingly good season in sm this year but seems to falter a bit vs the more established old heads of which bouff does fall into the category of, that being said bouff does deserve some karmic justice after dishonest sleep last week so maybe the universe will give db the protagonist buff this week
ORAS: GoldCat vs Gondra - been an up and down szn for goldcat as he has literally flip flopped wins and losses every week lol, the pattern would therefore say hes due for a loss which id tend to agree with given hes also playing into gondra who, although has ping ponged a few slots this season, has put together an overall quite strong showing and has no sign of slowing down
BW: Clem vs ninjadog - bw ru
ADV: mielke vs violet river - violet river has put together a really pretty strong season with wins over amity and berries early, great stuff to see, meanwhile mielke just got on the board for the first time last week soooo it is hard to see how river should not have the edge here
Bo3: lighthouses vs Piyu - both coming off tough losses last week but lighthouses has just had the more impressive season to me thus far and im not a fan of how piyu let up the gas in a totally won sv position last week and let the tilt affect him into the ss game after
Pure Power Prizefighters (5) vs (5) Solid Rock Wreckers
SV: xcx vs hjkhj - i think its ridiculous how ppl havent tried to cteam hjk harder considering u know 100% hes bringing 1 of either HO or stall every week but hey if it works it works! gum has had an alright szn, definitely wasnt as locked in as last year tho and hjk is on a burner so he should have the edge
SV: Master Chief vs Guille - im still not fully onboard with shifting mc out of sm, also not fully on board with shifting guille out of bw to accomodate some lineup changes but both have actually worked out decently so gotta respect it, will give edge to MC i think his game is a bit more polished/consistent and diving into the first week of talonless i think thatll be pretty important
SV: Ampha vs Shiba - amphas been hot this tour and shiba coming off the bench for sv the first time this tour does not inspire a ton of confidence in me
SV: etern vs Tsuki - both these two have had pretty underwhelming seasons so it is a little hard to judge how theyll close out these last two weeks, etern definitely has more pedigree as a gamer but tsuki has a SIGNIFICANT motivation edge both as a player/builder but also in general since her team is still right in the thick of playoff contention so will give her the edge
SS: Meru vs OranBerryBlissey10 - obb like gk from the previous set has been stuck in a cycle of wins and losses and is in line for a loss and i think meru has the juice to get the dub here, it is worth nothing tho as i mentiond in the etern v tsuki mu, motivation for meru may well be tanked considering their team is effectively out of playoff contention though so that will definitely be a hurdle to get over
SM: DD Joe vs xXcrossbowXx - ok so this happened and xbow won but also resttalk stoise is trash so in reality xbow lost
ORAS: sky vs MrAldo - i have personally had a front row seat to some of aldos recent oras ru woes between the L last week to gondra and general struggles in orascl, u the goat manager man but i gotta call it as i see it... that being said ava guaranteed lost vs max sp def sub dd scraft last week before miyami made a slight mistake in the sequencing so u never know
BW: Baddy vs FastCarVroom!!! - bw ru
ADV: JabbaTheGriffin vs Premonitions - everyone loses to sub drum wrath once and for jabba that was last week, that being said hes still been the most impressive adv ru stories this rupl so pretty good odds to expect a rally back this week, premonitions has also had a hard time adjusting to adv gaming thus far which doesnt help
Bo3: robjr vs Drud - a win this week would lock in robs first positive rupl in 3 years which would be HUGE, that being said drud has tbh looked pretty good lately compared to some of the rob games, so i think he should get the edge for this week specifically
