Resource Gatrstats: Showdown ladder stats viewer with the lot! Every mon, every format from 2014 to present

Gatrstats is a competitive Pokemon usage stats browser! It's based on source data from smogon.com/stats, which is itself based on ladder matches from the main server of Showdown. It's got everything from SV OU to Champions VGC to the February 2015 RU suspect test.

Aware we already have sites like Munchstats, Pikalytics, and Porydex that work with the same data. All of them are awesome and I admit to stealing ideas from Munchstats in particular - sent some cash his way in recognition of that. The reason I made this anyway is I thought it'd be cool to combine the best parts of all three. Really happy with the results and hope others will enjoy it too!

Fast!
* Just type a mon's name and hit enter - same feel as the Smogon strategy dex.
* Data for the top 100 mons in the selected format is prefetched, so switching between them has 0 latency
* Load times further minimised with pre-processing and global caching

Lemme know if you notice any issues! There's a few things I wanna add, like leads stats and speed tiers. But I think for now, see if anyone will actually use the main product.

So I just saw Munchstats updated, and now has the 2014+ historical data and usage trend chart that made Gatrstats unique. Guess I wasted my time!

Can't be too upset considering how similar Gatrstats was to begin with, but I had to laugh. I'm certain they only knew to trade blows with this project because I donated to their Ko-fi in its name.

Anyway. I've just pushed some visual updates to the site to freshen it up, and I've already been working on some feature updates. If you like this project please do let me know. It was kinda deflating to see its whole selling point yoinked like that.

Feature updates as promised...

Usage-based speed tiers have been added to Gatrstats!

You may be familiar with speed tiers like this for SV OU, which is written and maintained manually. Although it's a helpful resource, it's got a range of issues: it falls out of date, it sometimes misses relevant Pokemon, and - as demonstrated by the very first row being incorrect! - it's subject to human error.

With this new mode, I hope to address all of these issues. It leverages the monthly Showdown usage to figure out which EVs/SPs + Nature spreads are actually used in practice, and then crosses those with all Speed-boosting traits used by the Pokemon in question. The results are then written to a table, which you can filter and sort to your liking.

So, if you don't wanna see shitmons, filter them out! If you wanna see speeds under Sticky Web, turn it on! If you're a pro gamer using level 99 Alomomola, you can even look at that.

The best part is it works for every single format on Showdown. So if your favourite meta has no speed tiers, well here you go.

man, that is dirty. I still think gatrstats is the superior and more original one though!

For what its worth, I could never remember the name of the other usage stat sites and kept coming back to this post. Imo, GatrStats is prettier than Munchstats as well.
