Rhyperior [Granmarg] (M)
NATURE: Sassy (-10% Evasion)

TYPE
Rock
: Rock STAB; Take 2 less damage from all special attacks during Sandstorm. Able to use Sand Tomb without losing focus.
Ground: Ground STAB; Immune to all electrical attacks, can Dig through almost any substance, Evasive Digging reduced from 3 per action Energy Cost to 2 per action, superior senses in darkened cave surroundings.

ABILITIES
Lightningrod
: (Innate) These Pokemon naturally attract electricity to themselves and away from partners in double battles. When struck with an Electric attack, they transfer the energy into their body, using it to increase their Special Attack by one (1) stage. A boost gained this way by an opponent's attack will be maintained at the end of each round. Self-targeted attacks do not maintain boosts.
Solid Rock: (Innate) This Pokemon’s body is extremely solid and durable, and the Base Attack Power of incoming super-effective attacks is reduced by two (2).
Reckless (DW): (Innate) This Pokemon has an innately aggressive nature that lets it use all-out attacks with recoil more effectively. Recoil attacks from this Pokemon have two (2) more Base Attack Power, and recoil percentage is unaffected.

Ruleset

3v3 Doubles
2 Day DQ

Training Battle (sorry)
Items On
Switch=KO
All Abilities
Arena: Referee's Choice; Just don't make it either The ASB Tournament Arena, Unown Soup, & any variations of the aforementioned arena's.

Pinnacle Ruins
Sized for - 2 Pokémon per side. (Large)
Water Depth - Shallow (Surf, Muddy Water, and Dive can be used by drawing on the water source. Small Pokémon can submerge themselves, larger Pokémon can simply wade through the water with little difficulty.)
Seismic Activity - Allowed (The arena is sufficiently far from unprotected structures, or is properly insulated against this sort of punishment. Earthquake, Magnitude, Fissure, and Dig are permitted.)

A ruined complex from a bygone age, these crumbling pillars and walls bask in the high-altitude sunlight. The air is fridgid in these altitudes, but the sun alleviates this. A mystical energy of whimsy permeates the area, lending a relaxed air to the battle.

Pinnicle Ruins has the following traits:
  • One action on each player's team each round will be replaced randomly with the following command: Metronome (Sacred Fire | Rock Wrecker | Hi Jump Kick | Head Charge | Power Whip | Freeze Shock | Sky Attack | Bolt Strike | Megahorn | Shadow Force), regardless of whether it knows Metronome or not. Please bear in mind that you can sub for the event of this exchange. This action costs only the En for the called move.

Random entered the arena & greeted his opponent...Then as soon as he finds out what his opponent was using, he didn't have high hopes...Luckily this battle doesn't count towards W/L/T...

Kuraz @ Rocky Helmet | Thestalos @ Expert Belt

Lol. I thought you were going to bring hippowdon, gliscor et co.

Go, nommy and pants! Nommy will be taking an amulet coin.

Pants, start off with a taunt on clefairy, followed by a rock tomb on magmortar to restrict movement and hopefully contact attacks. Then, finish with a nice high jump kick on clefairy. If clefairy is protected on a1, swap actions 1 and 2.

Nommy, Heavy slam clefairy, Toxic magmortar, and heavy slam clefairy again. If clefairy is protected on a1 or a3, Redirect to magmortar

Okay, so our opponent wants to rush head-first into this battle...Fine by me...

"Alright my Pokemonarchs, let's do this! Kuraz, I want you to bait the subs, while Thestalos throws the confusion hammer on Pants! Next, I want you Kuraz to distract the opposition while Thestalos burns that Snorlax! Last, I want you two to really put the pressure on by really damaging Scrafty! Lets do this!"

Thestalos: Confuse Ray (Pants) > Will-O-Wisp (Nommy) > Cross Chop (Pants)
IF your action was replaced by Metronome, THEN push actions back

Kuraz: Protect > Follow Me > Wake-Up Slap (Pants)
IF Pants' first action is replaced by Metronome, THEN change your action-set to Flamethrower (Pants) > Follow Me > Wake-Up Slap (Pants)

Uh, you can't have two of the same Combo. In a row. When you only have three actions to combine. You should probably look up how Combos work - they are followed by a cooldown turn, and can never be used on A3.

Did you mean:
Pants - Head Smash + Head Smash (Magmar) | combo cooldown | Head Smash (Magmar)

I know how combos work. I intentionally wrote it that way, so if pants uses metronome on A1, it can use the head smash combo on A2. This way, I bypass the need for another substitution. This is the way I've been writing my actions for a while now. If the combo successfully executes A1, A2 would just be replaced by the mandatory cooldown. If not, I would use the combo on A2, and A3 would be replaced by the mandatory cooldown.
So rewriting pants' actions for clarification (and changing the sub)
A1: Head smash+Head Smash (Magmar)
A2: Head smash+Head Smash (Magmar)
A3: Head Smash (Magmar)

Sub: If Magmar is fainted, replace future actions with Hi Jump Kick Rhyperior

Replace actions with cooldowns where necessary, do not pushback.

If this isn't legit let me know.

You have another substitution; just use that instead. You cannot order multiple combos in the same round, and I cannot legitimately ref this.

My bad then.
Pants:
Head smash+head smash combo magmar-cooldown-head smash magmar
If your are metronomed on a1, replace a2 with head smash combo magmar and a3 with cooldown
If magmar is fainted on any action that is not a cooldown, replace with a hi jump kick rhyperior.

sorry for the confusion.

This is what happens when work calls you when you're trying to ref. God, I'm tired.

[box]Pants makes a dramatic, crashing headbutt at Magmar this turn; an exhausting move on his part. Nommy swamps the field with a rather underwhelming wave, but every bit helps. Granmarg inexplicably tries to counter... nothing?[/box]

Here, pinsir! Take this...uh. Nothing. :(
Nommy: Go with a quick chill to start off, and then follow that up with surf-surf. If Granmarg uses hammer arm on you, replace that action with counter and pushback.
Buffy, you'll probably be taking the brunt of granmarg's attacks. You may die. Sorry. Brick Break-Close Combat-Close Combat. If granmarg uses counter, replace that action with harden.

"Oh my..."

Bulldoze

IF Bulldoze is replaced by Metronome, THEN push your actions back by one.
