Hi,
I have been trying to make a team for a while now and decided to make my own as i realised when i went to my first tournaments i just had hard hitting pokemon with no strategy or structure....I then formed this team and so far has been working quite well for me...sorry if i do not get terminology right as I am new

Mienshao- Physiccal attacker
High jump kick
stone edge
ariel ace
u-turn

I chose Mienshao as it is my favourite pokemon an a complete powerhouse with taking down pokemon quickly. High jump kick was an obvious choice along with ariel ace to get rid of pesky grass types or fellow fighters. I then realised about flying types so added in stone edge and U-turn seemed like a good counter for escaping or physcic types. It will be great thing to have up my sleeve when battling

Latios-Special Attacker
Ice beam
physcic or luster purge
Thunder bolt
surf

I really like latios also and its speed mixed with the special attack is also another powerhouse. I decided not to include dragon type moves as they are only really affective on other dragons where as ice beam would give me a better coverage. The physcic or luster purge would be really helpful with any stuborn ghost or fighting types. I added thunderbolt in as i decided not to have a specific electric type so for coverage. Surf i added as i though people would not expect this so much while also allowing me to see off rock types.

Cinccino-Physical attacker
Rock Blast
Bullet seed
tail slap
thunder wave?

I feel this is a very overlooked pokemon due to its not high base stats. However looking at its abilities you see it has technician meaning moves such as bullet seed and rock blast have a huge effect. These moves also give good type coverage. I realise minccino does not have the best defense and it may be a risky move but thunderwave may be a way of stoping so many attacks from landing on him. A quick attacker also so good for revenge killing

Togekiss-special attacker
Flamethrower
hyperbeam
physhock
physc up

Another quick pokemon capable of taking down strong pokemon. If a pokemon has gaine lots of stat rises suchas speed or attack...using physc up will allow togekiss to gain these. This then means his attacks could be devastating with hyperbeam as a finnishing move. Physchock alos means i can target pokemon with low defense instead of special defense.

Skymory-deffense/annoyer
spikes
roost
toxic
air slash

What drew me to skarmory was its defense stat. It meant i could send it out first using spikes and toxic while also gaining health from roost. I also felt it needed some for of attack so added air slash. This has the added affect of a chance of flinching which could mean (with slower pokemon) that they would flinch resulting in more damage from toxic. I found these hard to beat which is why tried one

Umbreon-defensive/anoyer
confuse ray
mean look
toxic
moonlight

i chose this pokemon and its moveset to mainly aggrivate other teams. By locking in with a pokemon and using toxic means aslong as umbreon stays alive they will slowly die. to add to this there is the chance they may hit themselves with confuse ray. I chose moonlight because in order for this move set to work umbreon needs to stay alive.

If you see an gaps please tell me but this team so far has worked well for me :)

It is expected that you know the game to a certain degree of proficiency before posting your team for a rate here. Recently there has been a surge of teams made by players obviously brand new to the competitive scene -- there is little that can be done to help you here I'm afraid. This is the 'RATE' my team forum, not 'REBUILD my team for me' forum. Best place to go to in that situation would be Battling 101, and the Introduction to Competitive Pokemon article on site. If your team is deemed to show a severe lack of the understanding of the metagame, it will be closed and possibly infracted. This is completely up to the discretion of the mods.
I'm sorry, but this thread is breaking that rule. You don't even list the EVs, the nature, the held item and the ability of the Pokemon on your team, all of which are crucial mechanics to the game. I suggest looking at Smogon's Strategy Pokedex for info on what to use on each Pokemon.

Sorry, but I have to lock this. Have a good day.
