Not much to say about this team entirely.

Gliscor.png

Gliscor (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Sand Veil
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Stealth Rock
- Roost
Gliscor is a very effective lead. He is quite bulky with no investment in Defense. This is good, since it's a shame to lose that much of a speed stat.

Here is how he handles common leads:

Aerodactyl: U-Turn to Blastoise and Ice Beam
Azelf: U-Turn to Blastoise. He can beat it easily.
Bronzong: Haven't seen many of these, but U-Turn to Heatran and Fire Blast. If I know it has Heatproof, Earth Power instead
Dragonite: Pretty much switch to anything in my team, they all can OHKO it, except Jirachi who can just stall it.
Foretress: There is always that idiot who uses Forry as a lead. Switch to Heatran or Gengar, OHKO with a fire attack.
Heatran: Earthquake with Gliscor, switch to my own Heatran and Earth Power or to Blastoise and Surf.
Machamp: Switch to Gengar and take to Dynamicpunch. Than to Roserade and Leech Seed. Than SubStall and Spike. Relies on luck.
Roserade: Switch to Gengar. If it sleeps Gengar, switch to Heatran. Then use Fire Blast
Swampert: Switch to Roserade, Sub and then Leech seed. Relies on luck.
Tyranitar: U-Turn to Blastoise or use Earthquake

gengar.png

Gengar (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Fire]
Gengar serves the role of my Special Sweeper and Spinblocker. Shadow Ball is a powerful STAB attack that can also stop my opponent's Spinblocker. Focus Blast is slightly inferior to Aura Sphere since Gengar doesn't get any bonus KOs with it, but that's the best he can do the take down Rock Types. Thunderbolt is for the coverage and the ability to take down Gyarados, who would otherwise sweep me with one DD. Hidden Power is for Foretress, whose Rapid Spin I block and OHKO.

Jirachi.png

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 240 HP / 160 Def / 76 SDef / 32 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Wish
- U-turn
- Body Slam
- Iron Head
Jirachi assumes the form of a WishPasser (or WishTurner I call it.) U-Turn is for a Wish Pass if I can outspeed the pokemon, like a wall or something. Body Slam allows me to paralyze 60% of the time, and Paralyzing Swampet is very welcome. Iron Head makes for a good stall move that Jirachi just WANTS for the Flinch Hax.

blastoise.png

Blastoise (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 144 HP / 252 SAtk / 112 Spd
Mild Nature (+SAtk, -Def)
- Ice Beam
- Toxic
- Surf
- Rapid Spin
Although it seems silly, Blastoise better assumes the role of my Rapid Spinner. It scores me a few extra KOs than Forry or Starmie. Ice Beam and Surf are merely to give Blastoise a mean to attack from that good Special Attack. If I have the chance to poison, I can.

roserade.png

Roserade (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 236 HP / 84 SDef / 188 Spd
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Substitute
- Leech Seed
- Spikes
- Energy Ball
Roserade gives me the chance to go at Machamp and is also my Utility. SubSeed is a hilariously annoying strategy. And as I drain and Stall, I get spikes all the way. 3 layers and alot of pokemon in OU are drained of 30% of there health at least. Even with no investment, it still has incredible Special attack. 286 I believe, so a STAB energy ball still does great against Swampert, Suicune and Vaporeon.

heatran.png

Heatran (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
- Explosion
- Hidden Power [Ice]
Heatran provides some resistances and is my Revenge Killer. Fire Blast gives me a powerful STAB move, and power is much more prefferable in a Revenge Killer. Earth Power handles opposing Fire Types and more preferably, opposing Heatran. Explosion is good for suicide, ending games if I have a pokemon remaining after him, or slaughtering Blissey. Hidden Power ice for coverage.

Not that great though, I don't seem to win very much with it.

Blissey – Blissey is a pain, but I usually just switch to Gliscor or Jirachi and try something
Breloom – Can be KO'd by one member of my team, but it usually puts something crucial to sleep.
Bronzong – Fire Blast with Heatran or Earth Power, depending on the ability.
Celebi – Gengar out speeds, heatran out speeds and gliscor too. All with super effective moves.
Dragonite – Blastiose with a ice beam OHKO it's ass. Or go boom with Heatran. Or Jirachi/heatran takes out rage ExtremeSpeed, But with a dragon dance up its a problem. Can cause a problem.
Dusknoir - Just hit it hard With Gengar, Doesn't pose much of a threat.Or hit hard with anything Heatran takes wil-o-wisp and hit back with fireblast.
Electivire – Gliscor counters very nicely OHKO with Earthquake. Done.
Empoleon – Gengar and heatran gliscor hit it, dangerous behind sub. But you dont see many of these.
Flygon – Blastiose with ice beam. Body slam with jirachi if outrage. IF in outrage heatran with hidden power ice does good.
Forrtress – Fire Blast, Hidden power Fire. Done.
Gengar - standard gengar just go into heatran if it doesnt go for thunderbolt. Fire Blast OHKO, Gengar can speed tie if you feel like being risky.
Gliscor – Blastiose, Heatran can OHKO. Gengar hits it hard
Gyrados – Gengar can OHKO with thunderbolt. Explode with heatran OHKO
Heatran – Gliscor can EQ, Heatran can Earthpower and blastiose can surf it.
Hippowdon – Blastiose and roserade can hit it hard. Not hard to KO.
Infernape – Lead inernape, gengar takes fake out and hit with shadow ball or something. Or U-turn to break sash then do that. Nasty plot, Gengar out speeds heatran too. Scout for Vaccum wave first.
Jirachi – Heatran love these leads. And hits with fire blast. Calm mind jirachi gliscor.
Jolteon – I find these rare in OU, gliscor/heatran OHKO. Roserade can take his hits and leech seed or sub
Kingdra – With rain dance it can Be very dangerous but in 4th gen you dont see much of that. Still you have to just hit it with a body slam with jirachi to slow it down then just keep hitting it.
Magnezone – Heatran, Gliscor OHKO. Gengar has HP Fire Not sure how much it does though.
Mamoswine: Heatran can OHKO it with Fire Blast, and Gliscor can survive ONE Ice Shard sometimes, so prediction must be perfect.
Metagross – Go straight for EQ if lead with Gliscor. Heatran Hits it hard aswell may be a problem
Ninjask – Not a threat at all. Not even worth mentioning.
Roserade – Gengar with HP fire can take a Leaf strom and can take a HP fire too. Heatran as well.
Rotom-Forms – Gengar is honset the only thing. Or hax them with jirachi.
Scizor – Scizor bullet punch is deadly. Blastiose takes most hit and just surf it or heatran or gengar for fire moves.
Shaymin – Heatran and gengar with fire moves. Blastiose if you have to, Has ice beam. I really hate these. Or like you can do with every pokemon. Hax with Jirachi.
Skarmory – Heatran and gengar. Gengar with thunderbolt and HP fire. Heatran with fireblast.
Smeargle –I personally Let is spore roserade. Then switch out to anything and KO lol. They dont normally spore twice yea.
Snorlax – just see what it has. If it has fire punch then it doesnt have EQ most of the time. So heatran beats it. You can explode if needed. If EQ roserade leech seed and stall it.
Starmie – Life orb or scarf i go into jirachi to hax it. IF i NEED TO, Explode with heatran.
Suicune – Roserade stall it. Gengar with thunderbolt ot explode with heatran. Doesnt really bother me.
Swampert – Roserade Sub on switch then leech seed it then switch acordingly
Tentacruel – Gliscor with EQ or gengar for thunderboltTogekiss – Gengar can hit it with Thunder bolt. Blastiose can ice beam. And heatran can HP ice or explode. Jirachi can bring out the hax.
Tyranitar – lead, Uturn or straight up EQ it. Other, i like blastiose to surf or genfar to focus blast.
Umbreon – Focus blast with gengar. Uturn with gliscor or explode with heatran. Rare so dont worry about it still putting a warning.
Vaporeon – Mostly support so just go into gengar to thunderbolt, or roserade.
Weavile – Switch to Jirachi and iron head. Just break the sash and Uturn with Weavile too.
Zapdos – Heatran explode, gengar hits it hard might be a problem. Just play it right

I am not a good rater, but I do see some issues in my first glance. First off I do feel that you are very weak to specail attackers. This is a very simple fix. Just change Jirachi's set to

Jirachi @ Leftovers
EV's: 252 hp / 224 SpDef / 32 Spe
Nature: Careful
Wish
T-Wave / Body Slam
Iron Head
Fire Punch

This set allows Jirachi to switch into any special attacker and be able to wall him with ease. Wish is to heal you and your team. T-Wave or Body Slam comes down to whether you want to beat Jolteon, Starmie and maybe Scarfgon or Gengar, and Rotom. Iron Head is to allow you to flinch hax the opponet and gain leftovers recovery. Fire Punch for Mangezone. Next if you have trouble with Kingdra, try Dragon Pulse on Heatran. It is dangerous to try, but it might be able to work. Lastly I would try life orb spinner starmie over Blasty, but if you want Blasty.

Hey dude. Didn't have time for a full rate. Just scoped your team out a bit and came up with a minor suggestion. If you're going to make Blastoise a special attacker just do me a solid and replace it with LO Starmie. Blastoise has no offensive niche as a spinner in OU and is currently a waste of a slot imo.

starmie_sprite.png

Starmie @ Life Orb
252 SpAtk, 252 Spd, 4 HP
Timid (+Spd, -Atk)
- Surf
- Psychic
- Rapid Spin
- Recover/Ice Beam

Although Blastoise is your preference, Starmie greatly overshadows him in the SpAtk department and fits perfectly along with the Spikes support of your team. While being a superior attacker, Starmie can also patch up the leadChamp weakness, coming in on the Ice Punch and OHKOing with Psychic. Not the best coverage in the world, but it gets the job done. However, Blastoise can find some utility as a defensively bulky spinner and if you must keep it, I'd take that route instead and make sure to ditch that nasty Mild nature.

Some of your threat descriptions seem a little messed up. I don't see how you'll beat Azelf with Blastoise, because Psychic + Thunderbolt will KO from specially-inclined variants, while Explosion will snap you up if it's a physical variant, and you'll be left with no spinner.

I don't think Swampert minds paralysis much, and "try something" usually isn't an effective way to deal with Blissey. Probably a better solution is to get rid of Body Slam on Jirachi and put in Trick, while giving it a Choice Scarf. That would help ensure that your team isn't susceptible to walls and cripple Pokemon like Blissey.

Your method of dealing with Kingdra is also seriously flawed, as you'll do a pittance with Iron Head, and with Body Slam, boosted Waterfalls will eventually take you out. It'd be better if you could just Trick a Scarf onto Kingdra while he DDs, making him useless as a setup sweeper.

I also believe that Scarf Heatran's use as a revenge killer has greatly diminished, so I'd recommend that you run a Life Orb set. You could use the extra power, and it's too easy for a good player to predict and annoy the hell out of you while forcing Heatran out time and again, and in any case you already have a revenge killer in Jirachi.

Also, your description of Empoleon is flawed, because he'll easily OHKO Gliscor and Heatran, while Hydro Pump will OHKO Gengar, meaning you can't safely switch into him with anything, and if behind a Substitute, your team is annihilated by Surf bar Blastoise, who'll probably be KO'd by one of your reckless lead switchouts before Empoleon is revealed, or will die to Grass Knot/HP Electric, and who can't touch Empoleon in return. Essentially, with one Agility under its belt, Empoleon will destroy your team, meaning you can't allow it even a single turn of setup.

If you let Smeargle Spore Roserade, any competent player will use Spore again, meaning you'll again have something put to sleep, so that plan is essentially foiled and you'll have to switch yet again to Gengar/Roserade, the only Pokemon who can outspeed Smeargle on this team, neither of whom will be able to OHKO thanks to Focus Sash, meaning Smeargle has one turn to set up and one turn to BP out, which could be enough to annihilate your team.

Your Blastoise also poses a huge problem in that it's a complete invitation for DD Gyarados to set up, and by the time Toxic manages to take its toll Gyarados will have already swept/terribly damaged your team, as Choice Scarf Heatran can't outspeed +1 Jolly Gyarados.

ScarfTran also outspeeds and OHKOs Gliscor with Overheat.

Switching to Roserade on Swampert could mean eating an Ice Punch/Ice Beam to the face, which would hurt terribly even if you did manage to pull off SubSeed, though a Taunter would shatter that strategy.

I could go on, but you need to seriously re-think your methods of dealing with most of these threats.

Hi Voltolos, this seems like a pretty cool and original team, but I think I have a few suggestions that I would like you to consider. First off I notice that you are weak to some common offensive water types. Bulky Dragon Dance + Taunt Gyarados as well as Life Orb Starmie will cause you many headaches when you are playing them. In your threat list, you seem to rely on Gyarados being able to check these pokemon by exploding on them. Althought this may work with checking starmie in some circumstances, it is quite an unreliable check. Also, some Gyarados have the ability to outrun scarf Heatran after 1 Dragon Dance. Not to mention that you have some problems with the Dragon Dancers in general, Dragon Dance Dragonite and DD Tar also give you some problems. In order to fix this problem I suggest that you run a Scarf Jirachi over your current set. This allows you to not only check all of the dragon dancers effectively, but it also provides you with a very nice scarfer and late game finisher with iron head. A simple set of 4 HP | 252 Atk | 252 Spe will be good on this set with Iron Head | Fire Punch | Ice Punch | Thunderpunch with a jolly nature. Now I do notice a slight stall weakness in this team. Half of your team can be spiked on by skarmory. Blastoise is not hard for a defensive or rest talk rotom to wall, unlike Life Orb Starmie with rapid spin would be. I would highly recommend simply shifting your Blastoise around to a Life Orb Starmie, similar to that in previous rates. A moveset of Hydro Pump | Thunderbolt | Ice Beam | Rapid Spin should work just fine. Also, I think you should convert your Gengar to a Scarf Rotom-W. This allows you a better spin blocker and you also won't be so open to threats such as Agiligross and the like. A simple spread of 4 HP | 252 SpA | 252 Spe and a Timid nature with Thunderbolt | Shadow Ball | Hydro Pump | Trick will do you some good.

Now I would simply like to recommend more moveset changes that I believe would benefit your team. Although your roserade set is original and very annoying, I believe that you would benefit a lot more from running the standard spiker roserade. Spiker Roserade allows you to take advantage of Starmie's high powered Hydro Pumps by getting extra KOs with the entry hazards that you have. Since Starmie forces quite a lot of switches, it benefits you in this way as well.

Roserade @ Leftovers
Calm Nature 252 HP | 120 Def | 136 SpD Natural Cure
Spikes | Grass Knot | Hidden Power [Fire] | Rest

I could see your Heatran working much nicer with another moveset because while Heatran, while a good pokemon, would benefit much more from running a Passho Berry set with Stealth Rocks | Fire Blast | Earth Power | Explosion. Not only will this lure in those nasty water types, but it allows you a reliable stealth rocker which, in my opinion, you need. A simple EV spread of 4 Atk | 252 SpA | 252 Spe with a Naive nature would suffice for this set as well. Since you are using stealth rocks on Heatran, I believe that your Gliscor is ready to be replaced as well. Not only is LO Gliscor not an efficient lead in this metagame, but it wasn't really doing anything special for you besides setting up stealth rocks, which many other pokemon can do better. An interesting option for this slot would be a choice banded Azelf. This will allow you to destroy most of the common leads in the metagame, and the ones that you are not able to take down are beaten by Heatran. A moveset and EV spread of 4 HP | 252 Atk | 252 Spe with a Jolly nature and Zen Headbutt | Ice Punch | U-turn | Explosion would do this team some good. Choice Band Azelf is really a great lead for getting the momentum going form the beginning of the match.

Alright that is all that I can say for now, sorry if this rate got a little long, but I saw a lot of sets that you team could benefit greatly from. I hope you take my suggestions into consideration and I wish you good luck with this team.

Gyarados is much more of a threat than you believe. It can set up fairly easily on you, and proceeds to sweep through nearly all your team members with the appropriate moves. Gengar is outsped and OHKO'd after a DD, as is Heatran against faster variants of Gyarados, so your precautions won't have any effect. For this reason, Scarf Rotom-W is arguably the best replacement for Gengar, as it is slightly bulkier, revenges Gyarados, and still manages to hit reasonably hard.

I would recommend using WishCM Jirachi over your current set. You'll need more of an offensive presence to take advantage of Roserade's Spikes, and this would be the easiest way to add some. Other than healing its teammates, WishCM Jirachi makes for an excellent sweeper late-game, capable of performing well against both stall and offense.

Good luck!
