[4th Gen] The bulky Pokes win!

I know it seems a bit silly to try to get into the old meta game, but I haven't played competitive battling in ages, and felt like making a UU team the other day. I'm not exactly sure who all the main threats are (but apparently Mismagius is one >_>), but I tried to make sure I had someone to handle each type disadvantage. Keep in mind that I don't really know most of the big Pokemon in UU; so if there is some huge counter to my team, please let me know. Donphan is the most likely choice for a switch. I just liked him and wanted to use him, but I am willing to switch him.

Registeel @ Leftovers
Clear Body
Careful

252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD

Stealth Rock
Seismic Toss
Thunder Wave
Shadow Claw

I either Anti-Lead or let a tanky Pokemon set up Stealth Rock. In this case, I choose the latter path. Stealth Rock then proceed to do whatever you feel is necessary. Most likely: Thunder Wave. I'm willing to change it around so that I have someone else for a lead, but I want him so he can wall alongside Slowbro (They cover most of the other's weaknesses.) Registeel's main purpose in this team is to set up Stealth Rock and Special Wall. Once he walls a move, he needs to get off a Thunder Wave immediately to cripple the other team. Since the Pokemon that switches in will most likely be a physical sweeper, I now have an almost unbreakable physical defense in my team.

Slowbro @ Light Clay
Own Tempo
Bold

252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD

Slack Off
Light Screen
Psychic
Surf

Since Slowbro has a recovery move, there's no real need for Leftovers. There would be, but I want Light Clay so that I can make Light Screen last longer. Leafeon, Donphan, and Slowbro all have great defensive stats so I decided not to use reflect. Since there is only one pokemon built to handle special attacks (Registeel), in theory this should work out well. Slowbro's main purpose is to get off Light Screen. Once Light Screen is on, four of my Pokemon are incredibly bulky. Light Screen can be a great assistance to Leafeon's sweeping capability.

rotom.png

Rotom @ Choice Scarf
Levitate
Modest

252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

Thunderbolt
Shadow Ball
Hidden Power [Fighting]
Trick

Rotom brings in three immunities, most importantly Ground. A great switch in for Registeel. Then trick away my Choice Scarf. Hopefully it will land on a tank. :D The main point of having Rotom here is disabling and special sweeping. Tanks will be so sad to have a choice scarf instead of their precious Leftovers. This also helps build bulk in my team while crippling my opponent's team.

blaziken.png

Blaziken @ Choice Scarf
Blaze
Rash

80 Atk / 184 SpA / 244 Spe

Fire Blast
Superpower
Stone Edge
Hidden Power [Ice]

This is my revenge killer. Unlike many Pokemon on this team, Blaziken is made completely to nuke the opponent. Blaziken gets great type coverage with his diverse movepool. Blaziken is here to nuke some damage on the other team making it easier for Leafeon to sweep later in the game.

donphan.png

Donphan @ Leftovers
Sturdy
Adamant

252 HP / 188 Atk / 68 Def

Rapid Spin
Earthquake
Assurance
Ice Shard

Tanky damage. Rapid Spin makes my team's switching out less detrimental. He offers some good type coverage with his Ground and Ice attacks. The main point of having him here is to do some damage while switching in for Slowbro's electric weakness. He's kind of a weak spot on this team. I'd like someone who is somewhat bulky but can use physical attacks. Any suggestions here would be great.

Leafeon.png

Leafeon @ Life Orb
Leaf Gaurd
Jolly

252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

Swords Dance
Leaf Blade
Double-Edge
Synthesis

This is my main sweeper. Can handle two of Donphans weaknesses (Slowbro and Registeel handle ice.) Swords Dance then proceed to sweep away. Leafeon is basically the late game sweeper. My bulky Pokemon weaken down the enemy team so that Leafeon has an easy sweep late game.

An interesting team, but I have a few suggestions.
First off, Registeel is just begging to be taunted. It has no offense to speak of, and a faster lead with Taunt can walk all over him, either allowing for setup or forcing you to switch. If you want to keep your team intact, I would move Donphan up to the lead spot with SR, as he can actually hit back if he gets hit with a Taunt. You could then give Registeel another move, such as Toxic or Rest.

Right now, you're using Leafeon in a sweeper role, and she's not very well suited for it because she's too slow. I agree with the use of a Grass type, so I suggest Sceptile for his superior Speed and equal power. If you stick with Leafeon, Wish is a more reliable recovery because of the prevalence of weather in the current metagame (especially rain in UU)

The other thing I've noticed is that you seem to overestimate your physical bulkiness. Without minimal Defensive EVs, Leafeon and Registeel are much less bulky than you think. You're also very susceptible to status effects, especially poison. On a bulky team, you should carry more than one immunity to Toxic, or at least have a cleric. Weezing or Miltank could help address these problems. Weezing can absorb Physical attacks like a champ and spread status, while Miltank can do the same while also having access to Heal Bell to heal your team of poison.

Good team, and good luck!
