About me
Hi guys, this isn't my first time posting an RMT, but my previous RMT's have usually had some kind of problem with them or it's just been a team that no one cares about. That changes now, this RMT will turn out good, and you will care about this team! You can refer to me as Neos, I've been playing Pokemon since I was around about 9, and I've been playing competitively since Fire Red / Leaf Green were released.

I made this team with a friend, and making this team has been a lot of fun as it's had a lot of changes from what I originally wanted it to be, and I'm really happy where we are now.

The Team

Blaziken (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Protect
- Baton Pass
- Flare Blitz
- Substitute

Blaziken's main (and only) roll in this team is to Baton Pass a few Speed Boosts to any of the strong sweepers we have on offer. Every now and then he'll pull of a decent Flare Blitz as a revenge kill on something with a x4 weakness, but most of the time we have been leading with Blaziken and start with a Sub or Protect then Baton Pass. Blaziken has been proving to be an OK lead so far, he was never originally going to be our “lead” Pokemon, but the fact that he threats so many standard leaders makes him pretty strong. This usually gets at least 2 Speed Boosts, but sometimes 3 and then a Baton Pass to whoever could do the most damage at the time. With this Blaziken on the team my favorite thing in the world to face as a lead is Smeargle, all Smeargle players go for the turn 1 Spore, which lets me set up a Substitute and then scare them out; and then the bad Smeargle players that stay in after I use Substitue, well it just gets better from there really.

Rotom-Wash @ Assault Vest
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 232 HP / 56 SAtk / 220 Spd
Modest Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Discharge
- Hidden Power [Ice]

Rotom-Wash was put on here as a physical defender to begin with, but when Klefki joined the team Rotom was changed to our special defender. At first we tried 252 HP / 252 SDef / 4 Satk, but after checking some Smogon sets we realised that Rotom actually gets more Sdef by using an assault vest with no Sdef EV's or Nature. This made a great opportunity to put the EV's in better places, like his speed and Satk. Rotom's roll in this team is not only a special defender, but also a special attacker, which is great because he can take hits he wouldn't usually be able to and hit back with some great coverage in Water / Electiric / Ice. An important thing we've noticed whilst using Rotom is making predictions on switches that can resist Electric moves, but it's pretty simple most of the time and Rotom has OHKO's a few threats.

Klefki (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Impish Nature
- Spikes
- Foul Play
- Thunder Wave
- Substitute

Klefki is great for the team because it's an amazing Aegislash counter no matter what set you're up against. Thunder Wave can work against Automize sets, whilst Foul Play is obviously amazing for SD sets. But Aegislash isn't all that Klefki is good to face, it can Foul Play any Pokemon which tries to set up for huge dmgs. The Substitute is for scouting or stalling a little bit, and the Spikes are just there for getting down free Spikes, although they are never to be considered a necessity so don't do anything risky just to get down a layer.

Salamence (F) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd
Naive Nature
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast
- Dragon Claw
- Dragon Dance

Something I already considered was replacing Dragon Dance with Roost, and replacing Lum Berry with Life Orb, the reason being that if I Baton Pass some Speed Boosts to this guy he will have almost the exact same attack boost that one Dragon Dance would give him duo to the LO, and more speed. But I changed my mind about this because I felt that it made the team rely too much on Blaziken to Baton Pass boosts, but that's not what I'm aiming for, I'm just aiming to put fear into the enemy, and that's what Salamence alone does, so nothing extra is needed here. He's a flying type which gives me a designated EQ avoider in case they have Mold Breaker.

Gengar (F) @ Black Sludge
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Substitute
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Sludge Bomb

Gengar is a wonderful way to counter Mega Kanga, that guy is scary, but not as scary as Gengar with some a Sub and some Speed Boosts. Gengar is already fast enough, but the 2/3 Speed Boosts which Blaziken can easily Pass over, makes Gengar that much better. Gengar has some insane special attack even without a Life Orb. I'd kind of like to have Disable on this set to get rid of Sucker Punch but I'm really not desperate to get Disable in here because in most cases throwing out Gengar means enemy Kanga will start spamming Sucker Punch, and I can just use Substitute and make them waste as many Sucker Punches as possible, then if they decide to stay in and use other attacks I'll just wait around for a wait and then Focus Blast when I feel the time is right. But Kanga isn't all this guy is good for, a Sludge Bomb really rips most Fairies a new one, and that's a great feeling for me, and that chance to get the enemy poisoned has favored me so much already, I'm loving this guy more than I ever had, which is saying something considering almost all my OU teams have used him.

Kangaskhan @ Kangaskhanite
Ability: Scrappy
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Power-Up Punch
- Crunch
- Return
- Earthquake
I never really had plans for Kangaskhan, and I never liked it originally either. Not because I thought it's over powered, which it's really not, but because I didn't have a team which it complimented, until now. I was originally using Mega Stag Beetle, but the Stag just isn't as strong as I was hoping, or at least not in this team or this meta. Kanga on the other hand is wonderful in this team and this meta. He really appreciates the Speed Boost passes, and it also lets me replace Shadow Punch with Crunch which I prefer for the higher damage. I usually try my very best to get off a Power-Up Punch before doing anything else offensive because Kanga still really needs it even with Parental Bond. But as soon as you PuP with some Speed Boosts you can smash so many things with your low coverage by high damage.

All in all, the aim of the team is getting speed boosts and passing them, it's a very offensive team with some great defences in Assault Vest Rotom and Parkster Klefki. You want to put fear into the enemy. And I need to warn you that if you plan on using this team, then anything past Baton Pass Blaziken isn't on auto pilot, you can easily make the wrong Baton Pass or the wrong prediction. Do not let Blaziken die because it's nice going back to him over and over again.

Here are some replays for examples of the team being used, and underneath is the importable for the team, enjoy.
I had some, but I didn't realize I needed to press Save Replay for them to last.
