Hello!! Welcome to my first RMT and i was really exited about makeing this RMT for my team because i think its a really good team. It took me awhile to think of it and make the right fixes but i think it came out good. It is one of those drizzle teams so please dont go like Ughhhhh another rain team and not read it.
THE TEAM AT A GLANCE
Politoed ( Rain Lead)
EVs: HP 116/AT 0/DF 0/SpAT 136/SpDF 0/SP 252
Moves: Hydro pump/Ice beam/Focus Blast/ Hidden Power (flying)
Nature: Timid Item: Choice Scarf
Ability: Drizzle
POLITOED!!!!!!!! Politoed was one of my favorite pokemon ever and i was just really happy that in 5th gen it shine. With Politeod getting the ability drizzle it is finally a pretty good poke. Well reason for politoed on the team..... Abously to start the end less rain. I had hydro pump beacuse its it most powerful stab move that gets a boost in the rain. I added focus blast to hit tyranitars hard when they come in and ruin my rain and ice beam so ican go in on a garchomp and stop it from trying to sweep my team if itsets up swotds dance. Well your probably wondering why hidden power flying well thats because of annoying brelloms that come in and try to kill me. When a breloom comes in i go to my Chansey to take the spore then swithch out to my politeod when it mach punches or something and i kill it with hidden power flying. added a choice scarf to this so i can go into poke and just kill them with out getting hit because politoed dosent have the best defense.
Alomomola (Physical Wall)
EVs: HP 252/ AT 0/DF 252/SpAT 4/Spdf 0/SP 0
Moves: Rest/Toxic/Protect/Scald
Nature: Bold Item:Leftovers
Ability: Hydration
OOHHH GOD!! I have a few annoying poke on my team but im pretty sure almomola takes the cake. This bigger luvdisc is so annoying in the rain but i love it. I think Alomomla is one of the best Defensive walls in the rain. In the rain its able to completly heal its self (Hydration heals the rest Sleep).I gave it toxic to stall out pokemon that cant take it or predict a swithch and have a poke criplyed by the toxic. I added protect to add on to the toxic stalling by wasting a turn and heal a little with leftovers. Then theres almomolas scald its hated by any Physical attacker that dares to try and take down almomola. It cracks me up every time a scizor or garchomp comes in and it uses swords dance and then i use scald and get the burn. Theres only one physical attacker that i know that might set up and kill almomla. Thats conkeldurr. When i go for a toxic i activate the guts and that adds alot of power. My best thing to do is stall it out but with drain punch its even harder but most of the time almomla will stick in there long enough to stop the conkeldurr.
Chansey ( Speacil Attacking Wall,team support)
EVs: HP 252/At 0/DF 112/SpAT 0/SpDF 144/Sp 0
Moves: Aromatharpy/Seismoc Toss/Stealth Rock/Softboiled
Nature: Calm Item: Evolite
Ability: Natural Cure
Good things have happened to Chansey in 5th gen and its all thanks to one little item the evolite. With the item chansey is now better then blissy. The only thing blissy can say thats better then chansey is that it has better speacil attack biig woop. I gave chasey some defense evs so it can take at least one hit from a physical attack. and as for chanseys special defense litteraly nothing can one hit K-O it. Well into the moves. I gave it aromathrapy because its really nice to heal my teams toxic or thunder wave expecisly if its on azelf or azumaril. i needed a move to do damge and a move to heal it so softboiled and seismoc toss were best fits for chansey and stealth rock is there to set up rock sense my team lacks the entry hazards. As anyone knows renicules is a real annoying addition in 5th gen. it can set up on me and recover when ever its Hp goes low and when it sets up none of my poke can take it other then azumaril when its hp is low enough.
Azelf (late game sweeper)
EVs: HP 0/AT 0/DF 0/SpAT 252/SpDF 4/SP 252
Moves: Nasty plot/Thunder/Fire Blast/Psyshock
Nature: Modest Item: Focus sash
Ability: Levitate
Well let me start with saying that azelf isnt realy a late game sweeper. With the addition in 5th gen in the beging of battle you can preview your oppents team. When i see a lead bronzong or something that only sets up entry hazards i switch azelf to my lead set up a nasty plot and then go for the kill. i do the same if i see a poke that i know will set up. i just come in and take advantage of them setting up and try to go for a sweep. i gave it a modest nature because bnormally people would asume im faster and switch out i also made azelf modest so i can kill special defensive scizor wilth a fire blast in the rain. i added psyshock to hit chanseys hard but it still wont one hit ko even after a nasty plot.
Hydreigon
EVs: HP 4/AT 0/DF 52/SpAT 144/SpDF 52/SP 255
Moves: Dark Pulse/Draco Meter/Surf/Focus Blast
Nature: Timid Item: Choice Specs
Ability: Levitate
Hydreigon is a pretty good poke. When holding choice specs stab draco meteor does ethier 75% damage or one it ko anything that isnt stell type or rhymes with bansey.i gave it some EVs in def so it can take one bulk up mach punch from conkeldurr .
Azumarill ( Revenge Killer)
EVs: HP 252/AT 252/DF 4/SpAT 0/SpDF 0/SP 0
Moves: Aqua Jet/Double Edge/Superpower/ Ice Punch
Nature: Adament Item: Choice band
Ability: HUGE POWER
First let me just say this Azumaril is one of the best or best revenge killer in the game as my opinion. I know a lot of people are like nooooooo but just listen Stab+Rain+Huge Power+Choice Band= Super powered aqua jet. Even pokemon that resist its aqua jet take a lot of damage. Anything that dosent resist its aqua jet is in a load trouble. Also Aqua jet is priorty so it hits things that may be way faster then me and kill lika a doryuzu. If this poke dosent move up to OU ill be so diappointed i think its that good.i gave it max Hp so it can take atleast one hit from electric attacks and grass moves. Double Edge,Superpower,and ice punch are for poke i know i can take a hit and kill it or to just get massive damage on anything that swithches in. Azumarill is defentily the star of the team. i try to keep it in as long as possible to use for later.SSOOOOO YYYEAAAAH AZUMARIL!!!
CONCLUSION
Well thats the end of my first RMT and i think this team came out really good i can take most poke that come at me. The only thing i still have trouble with is renicules.its pretty hard to tae down, unfourtunly i cant take it out in one hit with azmarill it has to be at about 50% of hp. Another problem i have is Tyranitar haveing weather wars is annoying and tyranitar is such a good poke in sandstorm icant even kill it with a focus blast. Other then those 2 poke i have been doing really good. Any OPinions are apreciated and i hope you enjoyed my RMT.
