5th gen OU RMT

Infernape
Ability: Blaze
Item: Choice Band
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Flare Blitz
- Close Combat
- U-turn
- Mach Punch

Ape being CB helps a lot, as it allows Ape to check pretty solid Terrakion checks, as well as checking sand checks in general. (If that made any sense) Examples are Celebi, Ferrothorn, and can check sun for the most part. Flare Blitz and CC are raw power hits, and Flare Blitz can even 2 shot Gliscor after SR! With recoil racking up and SS as well, Ape can fire off one last Flare Blitz but at +2! After seeing that, I haven't regretted Ape on this team. Mach Punch is a fancy priority and can revenge kill even Pokes who resist it, (A Latios at around 20% is a decent example) while U-Turn gets more initiative and works well with Tyranitar/Latios as they stop many Ape counters. Overall, Ape is a really good Poke on this team, and people need to realize that Ape works well with Terrakion and that Terrakion does not outclass Ape.

Latios
Ability: Levitate
Item: Expert Belt
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Draco Meteor
- Surf
- Recover
- Thunderbolt

Latios is Expert Belt but can be LO, I only put Expert Belt because of SS damage with LO is unappealing, and while I do have Recover, I just don't like how it makes me easy to get revenge killed by a physical hit, but that's just me (Expert Belt can also bluff Specs decently). Draco is self explanatory, POWAH!!!! Surf is more like a filler move, I carry it really just for Gliscor and Tran. Thunderbolt is for taking care of those pesky bulky waters with a combination of Draco (like Jellicent). Overall, Latios fills a nice role on this team and is a fantastic special attacker as well!

Terrakion
Ability: Justified
Item: Choice Scarf
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Stone Edge
- X-Scissor
- Close Combat
- Rock Slide

Terrakion is a blessing for this team! Latios and Ape support Terrakion in getting a sweep, and TTar's sand to help as well! It can sweep remainder of teams with ease and can stop many things from sweeping in general! X-Scissor for Psychic's such as Celebi or Latias. CC for it's main STAB, Stone Edge for a powerful STAB as well, that can hit many Pokemon in this metagame neutrally, Rock Slide is also there, mainly as filler, but is the resource you use for revenge killing threats like Dragonite or Volcarona, without, fricking, MISSING. In conclusion, this poke can demolish a team with the support given, and is the bulldog of this team! Pun somewhat intended.

Tyranitar
Ability: Sand Stream
Item: Chople Berry
EVs: 240 HP / 252 SDef/ 16 Spd
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Crunch
- Pursuit
- Superpower
- Stealth Rock

TTar is for sand, getting Rocks and yah. Special Defense is something my team needs, since it seems like I need it a lil more than defense on this team. Careful and Chople allows me to take care of some threats as well and can gain me some momentum. So I can kill opposing TTar's with Superpower, making my Latios much more useful, and can help the offensive core a lot, with TTar still being able to get up Rocks, Pursuit Trap and Crunch hard core! Essentially, TTar isn't just for sand, as I can take on rain on this team decently. But sand is a big plus on this team and without sand, this team would probably be subpar, at best.

Gastrodon
Ability: Storm Drain
Item: Leftovers
EVs: 248 HP / 240 SDef / 20 SAtk
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Scald
- Toxic
- Ice Beam
- Recover

Gastrodon is goooooood, it can take two decent threats, Rotom-W and rain. it can Toxic many Pokes as well, specifically bulky waters, and just be awesome like that. Scald for obvious reasons, best STAB move this Gastro can have, since Scald is VERY nice on this team! Ice Beam for dragons and grass switch ins. (which BTW, Gastro lures in making Ape very useful) Recover is also for obvious reasons, but is something I love on Gastro! Overall, this team loves Gastro and she also supports Skarm nicely as well! This amazing slug is OU for a reason gaiz.

Skarmory
Ability: Sturdy
Item: Leftovers
EVs: 252 HP / 192 Def / 64 SDef
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Spikes
- Brave Bird
- Roost
- Whirlwind

Skarm is a great asset on this team that I stumbled upon by accident. It can get up Spikes, Whirlwind out big, scary dragons like Haxorus, and can Roost off all the damage, and Brave Bird for some good damage. I carry small investments on Sp.D just because of Gengar and Virizion, I can take those hits ferdayz while maintaining Skarm's physical bulk to counter things like Conkeldurr and Scizor. Overall, Skarm is a good accident, and I'm glad I thought about him randomly in my sleep.

~This team has been doing very well. Ape+Latios+Terrakion has helped me in numerous occasions! As Ape and Latios are good support for Terrakion, as with the SS boost, can help with their raw power and speed, and ironically enough, the fact that they roll high damages and are easy to revenge kill just makes moments to send in Terrakion safely and wreck shop with SS.

Trick Room Reuniclus, somewhat. He can set up a TR and sweep a decent portion. Though, I do have TTar, Skarm to stall it to an extent, and just raw power to kill him before he sets up, Jellicent can be a threat as well seeing how it's hard to beat one on one, though it can't switch in on anything so once I force it out it isn't going to be as threatening.

Thanks for giving me your feedback! If it's good enough, I'll add/replace to this RMT that you guys help make!

I think you're alot weaker to Rotom-W than you let on. It Volt Switches right out of Latios and switches right into its #1 partner, Scizor, who traps you and lets Washtom run wild. I also think that Vaporeon is the weak link because it's not doing anything that other bulky waters could do better (it passes Wishes to Latios but that's about it, and the extra health doesn't really extend Lati's longevity because it usually dies in one hit anyway). I recommend replacing him for Gastrodon. Gastro is one of the best Rotom-W counters in the game; it's immune to both STABs (getting hit by Hydro Pump even raises your SpA!) and can Toxic stall it easily. It also forms a great defensive core with Skarm, taking on most weather teams with relative ease.

Gastrodon @ Leftovers | Calm | Storm Drain | 248 HP / 20 SpA / 240 SpD
Scald | Ice Beam | Toxic | Recover

As for a more minor change, go with Brave Bird > Taunt on Skarmory so you can actually damage Landorus, who Skarm is one of the best counters to. Your only check right now is Latios and he's not the best mon to rely on for revenge killing because Lando's omnipresent partner Tyranitar will often Pursuit it. Nice team, good luck

Wouldn't Careful be a tad better than Sassy on your Ttar? He hasn't a single special attack anyway, and with Careful you can outspeed most common specially bulky Ttar and OHKO with Superpower.

I think the scizor+Rotom combo really Destroys your team. I would go what with BKC suggested and run a gastrodon and also run a max Spdef Skarmory. as Volt switch does about 60% max as you roost up on the switch he now cannot use the combo he could before. It also helps against gengar mostly with the disable kind as nothing does over 50% to you and you can Whirlwind away after/if he disables your Brave bird. With that i suggest maybe running a Scarf Terrakion seeing as that if Skarmory is gone or weakened any pokemon with DD can pretty much sweep your entire team. Scarf negates the sweep outspeeds and kills them.
Skarmory
Ability: Sturdy
Item: Shed Shell
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Spikes
- Brave Bird
- Roost
- Whirlwind

Terrakion
Ability: Justified
Item: Choice Scarf
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Close Combat
- X-Scissor

It helps as I can win weather wars with it! And while winning weather wars isn't needed on this team, neither is speed.

Scarf Terrakion, I've been thinking about that for a while now, and I'm starting to go on the scarf side, since Scarf can also easily revenge kill teams with relative ease. I will think about it, thanks Cheese. :]

I would actually echo By Myself's suggestion to run scarf on Terra. The ability to switch attacks is pretty important, but right now Dnite wrecks your whole team once Skarm goes down. The main issue is that you can hope to hit it with a burn using scald on vaporeon, but if it's offensive carrying lum and outrage it will use vaporeon as set-up fodder and basically be guaranteed 2-3 OHKOs on your team. Even at +1 an offensive Dnite outspeeds and is able to OHKO all members of your team bar Skarm. Bulky SubDD Nite can likewise treat each and every member of your team (other than skarm) as set up fodder.

I would also recommend gastro for your team to patch up a pretty heavy special weakness on your team. Starmie outspeeds and can OHKO/2HKO all members of your team. Your best option is to bring in Ttar to pursuit trap, but without atk investment/band I don't believe you're able to OHKO if it stays in, meaning TTar falls to hydro pump.

with gastro patching up the weakness on the special side and terra holding a scarf I think you'll find fewer problems when facing DDers. Other than that your team has nice synergy, best of luck.

Well seeing as Ttar is only slower than other Ttar, Hippodown, and the very rare abamosnow, you really aren't winning any notable weather wars. moreover, that is only applicable in the instance of both pokes lead (which isn't being fulfilled already), and in the instance of a double switch, which is also highly uncommon

politoed has a base speed of 70, Ttar has a base speed of 61, you're slower regardless. Unless it's a specifically designed Quiet Toed (which believe me, is basically obsolete now), you're safe with careful

Tornadus can be annoying to switch into, and TR Clus can probably sweep you. I'd throw a chople berry on TTar. Gives you a decent switch / check to Tornadus, just don't switch into focus blast, and it also lets you a hit with crunch on Reuniclus (2 against CM Clus). This way any damage it takes setting up + Crunch can finish it. nice team, good luck

Water types say hi, Scizor also says hi provided it's got most of your team down for the count. Rotom-W can break down your team just by volt switching. I see that you've taken measures for that by using Gastrodon but when that is down then your team is very much exposed. I would suggest taking out one of your fighting types to cover the weakness of water. Rain would pour through your team once Latios and Gastrodon are down.

You also have a huge weakness to grass, a sun team with your TTar dead would burn through it. Venusaur laughs at you.

if u breed: this isn't worth re-doing your terrakion, but why jolly on scarf terrakion? Terrakion is already pretty damn fast and really needs that adamant boost when it's coming down to min-max damage on frail(ish) pokemon like haxorus (after rocks or some lo recoil or some sort of damage) and ninetales(i know u could stone edge but that's unreliable) and politoed and such. I highly suggest running adamant.

I Pokesav, and you can't breed Terra's, so it's fine.

I prefer Jolly for outspeeding threats like Volcarona and Salamence, as I usually have hazards to help score KO's for Pokemon like Haxorus (plus Jolly allows me to revenge kill Jolly DD Haxorus's after a DD)!
