6th Gen OU Team

OK, my first team was awesome, but I've decided to make it even better, because it honestly, it had trouble with Azumarill and other bulky Water-Types, but this time shall be different!!! (Maybe) :I

Greninja @ Life Orb
Ability: Protean
EVs: 252 SpAtk/ 252 Spe/ 4 HP
Timid Nature
-Surf
-Dark Pulse
-Ice Beam
-Grass Knot

This Greninja is the same except I gave it Grass Knot to hit bulky Water-Types who would otherwise wall this set. With Dark Pulse, it can hit Aegislash hard. Surf is for hitting Charizard and other Fire/ Rock types. Ice Beam hits Dragons and Grass types. Max SpAtk and Spe with Timid Nature makes sure Greninja hits and fast. Protean makes him hit that much harder.

Lucario @ Lucarionite
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk/ 252 Spe/ 4 HP
Adamant Nature
-Close Combat
-Bullet Punch
-Crunch
-Swords Dance

Lucario is still the same because he didn't need any changes, and he covers Steel-Types and Fairy-Types that wall Greninja. Close Combat is the main STAB, and after Lucario goes Mega, it HURTS. Bullet Punch over ExtremeSpeed because the latter doesn't hit Fairy-Types super-effectively. Crunch hits Aegislash and other Ghost-types. Swords Dance with Max Atk and Spe makes sure Lucario can KO Florges after a Swords Dance and outspeed Azumarill's Aqua Jet using Bullet Punch.

Galvantula @ Focus Sash
Ability: Compoundeyes
EVs: 252 SpAtk/ 252 Spe/ 4 SpDef
Timid Nature
-Thunder
-Bug Buzz
-Energy Ball
-Sticky Web

Galvantula serves a dual-purpose on my: set-up Sticky Web and KO/ weaken Pokemon that threaten the rest of my team. Thunder gets an accuracy boost from Compoundeyes and STAB, and along with Bug Buzz and Energy Ball, hits a lot of Pokemon for Neutral coverage. Sticky Web slows down grounded Pokemon and nerfs Scarfers. Max Spe and Focus Sash makes sure that Sticky Web gets up and max SpAtk makes sure Galvantula leaves a dent in anything it hits.

Swampert @ Rindo Berry
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 240 HP/ 252 Atk/ 16 Def
Adamant Nature
-Earthquake
-Waterfall
-Toxic
-Roar

After Sticky Web is set up, Swampert is free to come in and Roar/ Toxic-stall to its hearts content. Max Atk Earthquake hits Tyranitar and Aggron and Waterfall hits everything else. Near max HP and Def investment makes Swampert able to take lots of hits and Rindo Berry makes Swampert able to survive at least one hit from a Grass type.

Rotom-Wash @ Lum Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 28 SpAtk/ 232 SpDef
Calm Nature
-Discharge
-Hydro Pump
-Will-O-Wisp
-Confuse Ray

Triple Status Rotom-Wash is awesome. Discharge is STAB and causes Paralysis, Will-O-Wisp cripples physical attackers. Confuse Ray forces switches, and Hydro Pump is STAB with lots of power. Calm Nature and EVs in HP, SpDef makes Rotom-W into a Special Defensive beast. Lum Berry makes sure Rotom doesn't get crippled by statuses.

Forretress @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP/ 252 Def/ 4 SpDef
Relaxed Nature
-Gyro Ball
-Stealth Rock
-Spikes
-Rapid Spin

Physical Wall Forretress. With max HP and Def AND Leftovers, Forretress is sure to set up on at least one of his hazards, further pressuring. Gyro Ball hits fast Pokemon hard and Stealth Rock is the hazard for those Pokemon that aren't affected by Sticky Web. Spikes puts even further pressure on grounded Pokemon and Rapid Spin gets rid of opposing hazards.

Overall, this team has awesome synergy and with all the help of their partners, Lucario and Greninja have an easy time tearing thru a lot of teams.

On ferro you should be running 0 speed IVs for gyro ball.

Rotom should have volt switch over discharge because being able to take out chunks when tagging is a much more valuable than a 30% paralyze chance. Also confuse Ray is really iffy.

Run Hydro pump on greninja over surf as it has little bulk and likes the extra damage.

Here are my thoughts on the team:

First, is Grass Knot all that useful on Greninja? Most bulky waters, such as Vaporeon and Rotom-W, take very little damage from Grass Knot. In addition, you have Rotom-W and Galvantula to handle bulky waters. If you replace Grass Knot with U-turn, you could make a great VoltTurn combo with Rotom-W, and keep up momentum better.

Next, I would make Lucario's nature Jolly. Lucario definitely wants to keep its base 112 Speed tier, as this lets it outrun everything up to Thundurus, which leaves very little room for attackers that can actually outspeed it (this leaves basically only Choice Scarf users, Priority users, and a few relatively uncommon faster threats such as Starmie.) Lucario's power is enough, especially with Swords Dance, that it can sweep without an Adamant nature just fine.

After that, I would recommend giving Swampert Leftovers. Rindo Berry does cover one of its weaknesses, but Swampert almost NEVER wants to stay in on a grass-type! Of the three that are relatively common, that being Venusaur, Ferrothorn, and Trevenant, the former two are immune to Toxic, the latter almost always carries Substitute or Natural Cure, and all three take very little damage from Swampert's attacks. In addition, Leftovers lets you Toxic stall much more effectively, as the passive recovery gives you a bit more of a chance not to get worn down.

Next, I would follow Ender Wiggin's comments above me and switch Discharge for Volt Switch and remove Confuse Ray. I'm not sure what your EVs are doing, but I would recommend 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD. Finally, in place of Confuse Ray, I would add Rest and give Rotom-W a Chesto Berry. This accomplishes the same thing a Lum Berry can do, but can be used multiple times over the course of a battle and also restores Rotom-W's health.

Hope this helped, and good luck!

I would suggest Giga drain over energy ball, although energy ball has 15 more BP, Giga drain is extremely useful for regaining health, You can recover a good chunk of health from opposing Gastrodon, swampert, vaporeon, jellicent and more

For Lucario, adaptility gives bullet punch base 80 power and has priorty, but extremespeed's +2 priority may deem to be more useful with same base power, but it is mostly a matter of preference, and a jolly nature for outspeeding foes(I used adamant but it matches many speed ties with pokemon so I switched to Jolly)

Confuse ray is outclassed by many moves, ice beam, voltswitch(which could also better than discharge), T-bolt, painsplit, and others

OK, I see what you guys are saying, but will I have to change Greninja's EVs if I use U-turn?

Also, I got my Galvantula via the GTS, so I don't have access to Giga Drain.

For Rotom-W, I can see where Volt Switch could come in handy, and the EVs would make him bulkier.

Lucario's Adamant Nature gives him more power, but Adaptability makes up for that so, I guess I'll try Jolly. Thanks for the advise guys!
