Welp. Welcome to my team.
Its pretty good so far and doesn't really have a problem dealing with walls, batons, offensive, and defensive teams. I've yet to find a solution for hax but I'm working on it.
An American Hero (
) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Return
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Substitute
Alright this one is weird. He's basically all or nothing so its important to get off substitute when I predict he takes little to no damage. I'm not sure what's going on, but substitute is incompatible with a ton of its normal move pool which is really important for taking advantage of Sheer Force. Its purpose is to just get rid of threats before they become an "ez sweeper".
Unemployment (
) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Sap Sipper
EVs: 252 SAtk / 150 HP / 6 Spd / 100 Def
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Spd
- Dragon Pulse
- Flamethrower
- Thunderbolt
- Dragon Tail
It's name is a joke about my life but its a classic Goodra for the most part. It tanks off all sorts of special attacks and has enough power to deal something back. Its been FANTASTIC for switch in to grass type moves. Dragon Tail is there for the predicts and to clean up my mistakes of letting someone set-up.
Nigerian Prince (
) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Overcoat
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 Atk
Impish Nature
- Defog
- Knock Off
- Roost
- Brave Bird
I'm starting to doubt why I have this guy on my team. I really haven't been using defog much and to be honest the only thing I realize is how he's the only person taking damage from stealth rocks. Other than that, he's great at just tanking things when I don't know what to switch in to and he basically walls long enough to annoy. Knock Off is always great to cripple someone and Brave Bird is a must to at least deal consistent damage.
Walt Disney (
) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 Atk
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spd
- Gyro Ball
- Leech Seed
- Knock Off
- Stealth Rock
Its magic I use to hate Ferrothorn but now I love it! Switch into dragons and set-up all over that Outrage. Switch into a Talonflame and watch it lose half its HP from a Brave Bird. Always gotta have another source of Knock Off just in case. Gyro Ball probably could change but its always nice to have.
Bueno Bueno (
) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Def
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Ice Punch
- Mach Punch
- Drain Punch
Conkeldurr is tons of fun. As you can see, I seem to have an obsession with Knock Off! People often question using both Mach and Drain Punch but honestly both are needed. One is for sustain and the other is for utility. Life is so easy running Assualt Vest for the defense, meanwhile I'll let the other guy set up Guts for me. I can never really OHKO a Aegislash on the Knock Off switch, but it does ruin its day. Ice Punch is there for dragon busting and will probably never change. Muy bueno, no?
Thanks Obama (
) @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 SAtk
Bold Nature
- Recover
- Thunder Wave
- Psychic
- Calm Mind
This guy is why my team exists. He's the hidden sweeper and probably way underused. Life is hard against all the buffs to Dark types but alas this guy manages to pull thru 90% of the time. Thunder Wave is there instead of Focus Miss cause its hella more useful. Everything else is classic Reuniclus from 5th gen.
That's basically it I guess.
I win around 70-80% of matches currently. Scizor has been a reoccurring problem in my life if I play too stupid. I'm also 100% sure that Tauros is the weakest link in my team, but I haven't found anything that does its same job without getting "pixied" to death.
Suggestions, critique, awards? D:
