Hello everyone i was just wondering how my team looks at the moment. I havent played pokes in a while and i was suprised to come back to garchomp being an uber.. But here is my team, and advice is always needed thanks....
Tyranitar w/Focus Sash
Adamant
[Ev's:34HP/252 Attack/34Ddef/188 speed
Moves[
Earthquake
Rock Slide
Dragon Dance
Aerial Ace
Pretty much a standard T-Tar, with Dragon Dance to bump up its attack and speed, and Earthquake and Rock Slide both have massive type coverage. Aerial Ace is an interesting move on T-Tar, but it deals with its common weaknesses of Fighting/Grass/Bug, and it is not a move many would expect a T-Tar to have. Focus Sash grants me either 1 or two Dragon Dances before the sweep.
Skarmory
Impish
EV's: 252 HP/192 Defence/64 Sp defense
Moves
Toxic
Stealth Rock
Roar
Protect
I know Skarmory has no attack moves, but whats the point when SP def needs a bit of increasing. Stealth Rock hits anything, and combined with Roar, you can potentially cripple the opponent. Toxic and protect offers Skarmory better survivability, and no grass/bug poke is going to stay put when Skarmory's out.
Scizor (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 250 HP/252 Atk/8 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Roost
- Brick Break
- Bullet Punch
Scizor is my team's late-game cleaner and does pretty well when everything is set up including sandstorm and stealth rock. Nothing really to be said about him except he is probably the best late game physical sweeper for my team since garchomp is no longer available.
Cradily w/leftovers
Sassy
EV's: 252HP/200SP def/88 Attack
Moves
Earthquake
Toxic
Barrier
Recover
A standard move set for Cradily, it soaks up Sp attacks, while using barrier until its defense is almost impenetrable. Then I use toxic/Recover/Earthquake to finish the poke of in a very nasty way.
Heatran w/Choice Scarf
Modest
EV'S: 252 Sp attack/252 Speed/6HP
Moves
Heat Wave
HP Ice
Dark Pulse
Earth Power
Heat Wave is the best choice of fire move, it does more damage than Flamethrower, good accuracy and a better chance of a. HP ice to deal with Dragons and ground pokes. Dark Pulse to kill Dusknoirs and other Psychic pokes, and finally Earth Power to KO any poke that is stubborn enough to resist.
Latias @ Life Orb
Levitate
4 Def/252 SpA/252 Spd
Timid
-Draco Meteor
-Surf/Grass Knot
-Thunderbolt
-Recover
Latias is my Game Maker Poke and is the only one poke on the team that is vulnerable to the sandstorm. With Recover Latias should be suitable to handle that. I have thunderbolt for the bulky waters, and flying types that think they can switch on Latias and wall me in. Draco Meteor is pretty strong move and a must have, it’s a powerful STAB move that could blast through almost anything. Grass Knot is possibly one of her best moves due to the fact that it can cover a lot of my team weaknesses. I am really looking forward to what she can do for my team especially since its now an ou pokemon.
