Quirky title amirite? I had a lot of fun with UU in 4th Gen. on Shoddy, and
I'm back again on PO in UU. UU is just so much more than OU. This team
doesn't really look like it works, but it does, I usually win about 60% of
matches, losses usually happen because of bad plays on my part, and
that happens more than it should.

Team Specifics

424.gif

Jolly @ Muscle Band
~ Technician
252 Attack / 252 Speed / 6 HP
- Fake Out
- Double Hit
- U-Turn
- Shadow Claw

My lead for obvious reasons, Fake Out + U-Turn breaks Sash's, and brings
in a counter. Double Hit for STAB and breaking Subs, while the last slot is
useful for Mismagius, who causes this team problems sometimes.

Jolly @ Chesto Berry
~ Swift Swim
252 Attack / 252 Speed / 6 HP
- Waterfall
- Outrage
- Dragon Dance
- Rest

Comes in on Fire attackers and Scald, the burn is useless because of
ChestoRest. It is especially comical when the opponent thinks that he's
useless with a burn, while I Dragon Dance a few times, and Rest off
damage. Great natural bulk is helpful, great move coverage, though I try
to refrain from using Outrage until there are 2-3 members left.

Bold @ Leftovers
~ Regenerator
252 HP / 252 Def / 6 Sp. Def
- Scald
- Ice Beam
- Slack Off
- Thunder Wave

I love this little fatty, his physical bulk is awesome. Scald for STAB and
the burn chance, Ice Beam for Grass types he fears, also works well on
Dragons. Slack Off + Regenerator means endless bulk, and Thunder Wave
because this team isn't exactly Speedy Gonzalez.

Calm @ Leftovers
~ Regenerator
252 HP / 252 Sp. Def / 6 HP
- Giga Drain
- Knock Off
- Leech Seed
- Stun Spore

Giga Drain to heal HP, together with Leech Seed and Regenerator, this
thing is a tough son of a gun. Knock Off is extremely helpful with pokemon
holding Leftovers, Leech Seed for more annoying, and Stun Spore to slow
everything down to his level, makes stalling a lot easier.

Careful @ Leftovers
~ Prankster
252 HP / 252 Sp. Def / 6 Def
- Night Shade
- Will-O-Wisp
- Taunt
- Recover

This guy is another great member, Prankster is a godsend. WOW is
especially useful, helps with stalling against everyone, doesn't have to be
a Physical attacker. Taunt for set up sweepers, especially useful against
hazard users. Recover for more stalling.

344.gif

Bold @ Light Clay
~ Levitate
252 HP / 252 Def / 6 Sp. Def
- Earth Power
- Light Screen
- Stealth Rock
- Rapid Spin

Plays a support role, comes in on Paralyzed pokes, sets up Rocks, and
sets up Reflect. I realized the problem with Xatu was it was too much
trying to set up both, so I've decided to use Light Screen, considering I
have WOW support from Sableye, and Slowbro and Tangrowth appreciate
the Sp. Def buff. Stealth Rock to discourage Bug types from switching it,
considering they hit 3/6 SE, and special variants are harder to take down,
especially Quiver Dance users. Rapid Spin to keep hazards off my own
side, Toxic Spikes are a pain for this team.

Previous Members

178.gif
- I had used him as a Screener, and for Magic Bounce to bounce
back hazards, but he struggled to set up screens, and wouldn't do much
damage with only one attack, at first was Psychic, but then was changed
to HP [Fighting]
237.gif
- Had been using him as a Spinner with Bulk Up, but realized
that hazards don't appear as much in UU, from what I've heard. Mach
Punch wasn't really as useful as I thought, even after a couple of Bulk Ups.
492.gif
- Had been using it as a SubSeeder, but wanted to try out
Regenerator Tangrowth, who is working well in it's place.
555.gif
- Used as a Choice Scarfer, but it didn't work as well as I
thought, was always outpredicted, and never much of a fan of Choice.

Threat list
~ Rotom formes with Volt Switch
~ Baton Pass teams, especially SmashPass
~ Guts users because I can't use WOW
~ Heal Bell/Aromatherapy users
~ Strong Bug types, Heracross/Yanmega come to mind
~ Milotic that has been Burned, Paralyzed is easier
~ Guts Swellow is annoying, Protecting against Fake Out

Well, that's about it. My PO user is FoxyLady, if you want to battle, PM
me whenever.

Give Darmanitan an Adamant nature. The Choice Ccarf allows it to outspeed a lot of the UU tier as it is. Getting that +400 attack is great to have on a Scarfed Pokemon.

Remove Earthquake on Darmanitan for Superpower. It's probably the better option since you have no Fighting coverage on this team. Try Life Orb on Ambipom.

If you really want Ground coverage you could replace Slowbro with Curse Quagsire. It would also help against certain set up sweepers that will give you problems or against UU Smash Pass teams that may fly around.

Life Orb is too tolling on his health IMO, I prefer Muscle Band, meet halfway.

Quagsire isn't a bad idea actually, I never thought of that.

OP has been updated, Tangrowth has replaced Shaymin.

Hey, I've got a few suggestions for your team.

Ambipom is cool, but you definetily need to run Life Orb over Muscle Band. Ambipom needs all the power that it can get, and Life Orb recoil is a small price to pay for the extra power. Plus, if you use ambipom right, then Ambipom won't be taking any damage besides that recoil. Life Orb ensures an OHKO on Misdreavus after Stealth Rock (95.4% - 113%), which can come in handy.

On Tangrowth, definitely use Sleep Powder over Stun Spore. Stun Spore is ok, but having the ability to shut down an entire Pokemon will really mess with your opponents team. It's definitely better having one Pokemon asleep than multiple Pokemon paralyzed, if you put the right Pokemon to sleep. Sleep Powder is one of those moves that if you have it, you really should be using it.

Your team is really really weak to Heracross. It can easily just come in and start spamming Megahorn, and you can't really do anything. To fix this suggestion, I suggest replacing Claydol with Gligar:

Gligar (M) @ Eviolite
Trait: Sand Veil
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Roost
- Toxic / Taunt
- Earthquake

Gligar is probably the only counter to Heracross in UU. It can switch in repeatedly, and just Roost off any damage. Apart from being a solid Heracross switch in for you, it can fill a similar role to Claydol, setting up Stealth Rock, but Gligar has recovery going for it, which helps. Taunt / Toxic is down to preference. Toxic can poison bulky Water-types that come in, while Taunt can help shut down stall. Heracross aside, Gligar can come in on pretty much any pshyical attacker, even Darmanitan / Choice Band Rhyperior / Stoutland.

Good luck with the team, I hope I helped!
