Looks like Vrin has a little bit of a type advantage here, but that doesn't mean anyone should count out Kingler just yet! Now, let's start this battle!

Kingler sends out first and equips
Vrin sends out, equips, and orders
Kingler orders
I ref!

Thanks for this, quilava best lc Mon XD
Wellllllll let's send out treecko@nothing

I brought two Steel / Ghosts to a fight against Cranidos and Treecko. You'd almost think this was intentional counterteaming.

IF damaging Dark-type combo THEN Substitute (15) and push back.

Action 1
Twigcko dug underground! (10 EN)

Aerial Ace -> Trigcko (4 EN)
RNG roll (to crit) 9106 = no crit
(6+(4-1)1.5)(1.5) = 15.75 DMG

Twigcko stayed underground! (6 EN)

Action 2
Dig -> Prussia
RNG roll (to crit) 5997 = no crit
(8+(2-4)1.5)(1.5) = 7.5 DMG

Prussia used Reflect! (10 EN)

Action 3
Crunch -> Prussia (6 EN)

RNG roll (to lower Def) 8761 = no lower
(4+(2-4)1.5)(1.5) = 1.5 DMG

Aerial Ace -> Trigcko (4 EN)
RNG roll (to crit) 9843 = no crit
(6+(4-1)1.5)(1.5) = 15.75 DMG

The matchup goes, well... about as well as you'd expect. Twigcko tries to use some trickery to avoid Prussia's first attack, but Prussia activates his No Guard and plunges deep into the ground and strikes Twigcko anyway! When it was time for Twigcko to attack, it barely left a scratch on Prussia, and in response Prussia erected a barrier that basically brought the poor little Treecko's offensive potential to 0. Twigcko then tried to break through and get a good amount of damage with an impressive bite, but the damage is barely enough to make the Honedge flinch, and one swift Aerial Ace does almost twice the damage Twigcko did with two attacks!

So uh... yeah, I was just pumping the audience there before. The only chance Kingler has against Honedge is to switch out, but even then Cranidos vs Honedge still leans in favor of the floating sword...

Leech Seed (3 DMG Prussia, +3 HP Twigcko)

Quickly rushing over to the small field in the arena, Twigcko picks up a piece of grass and plays a soothing song on it, leaving Prussia out of commission as he takes a nap, and this one looks like it'll be a long one! Taking advantage of the Honedge's vulnerable state, Twigcko chucks a few Leech Seeds at Prussia in order to get a little constant damage on it as well as to keep himself alive as Honedge just snoozes away unaware. As Twigcko makes one last recovery, Prussia wakes up and summons a cute little doll that's going to be taking at least two hits.

Looking at HP alone, Twigcko has a clear advantage, but with Prussia poised to go on a full offensive blast, it looks like the tide is going to shift very very soon,

(Yeah skimping on flavor but I need to do stuff irl soon and just wanted to post)
Twigcko takes a deep breath, then goes all-out with several chomps, but it's not enough to break through the doll, especially after Prussia puts up another barrier to block the majority of the damage! Looking at just the numbers it's about even, but in reality if Prussia continues to chip away with Aerial Ace, its only a matter of time before Twigcko falls!

Man 1.5 DMG WITH A SUPER EFFECTIVE ATTACK
Synthesis-crunch+crunch combo-chill
If a non-damaging move is used, change that action to substitute (10 HP) and push back.
If substitute is used a2, change action to crunch

Aerial Ace ~ Protect ~ Aerial Ace

Substitute (10) doesn't exist so that substitution is invalid. And regardless, my handy 6 HP sub would absorb the combo even if I didn't Protect.

Well the substitution is invalid due to "non-damaging move" not being a valid sub class more than what was probably a typo that caused Substitute (10)

Leech Seed (3 DMG PRussia, +3 HP Twigcko)

Action 1
Prussia used Protect! (7 EN)
Why...?

Super Crunch -> Prussia (28 EN)
(9+(2-4)1.5)(1.5) = 9 DMG ~ 6 DMG = 2.4 EN

Action 3
Twigcko must cool down!

Aerial Ace -> Trigcko (4 EN)
RNG roll (to crit) 6967 = no crit
(6+(4-1)1.5)(1.5) = 15.75 DMG

Twigcko is now on its last ropes- no more recoveries means that it's stuck with the HP it has, and due to a tiny bit of EN mismanagement it needs to Chill while Prussia is getting more and more time to just chip away at Twigcko, but Prussia isn't exactly looking so hot in terms of EN either! Looks like this might be the last round of this match, but Twigcko isn't exactly finished just yet!

Wait, you can't Protect a Substitute? Whatever. Let's work towards finishing this.

Aerial Ace ~ Chill ~ Aerial Ace
IF P/E when you would Aerial Ace THEN Chill.
IF Grass Whistle THEN Protect and push back, but not consecutive.

Yeah lol p much gg
Leaf Storm +Leaf storm combo-chill-crunch?
Im gonna be dead after a1 so anyway..
P.S. the exp share thing was a mistake. I haven't equipped treecko with anything.

1. Exp. Share noted
2. From the handbook:
One other attribute a combo has is base energy cost. This is the minimum amount of energy the Pokemon needs to execute the combo. If it has less, the combo fails and the Pokemon faints from exhaustion. If the combo is a same-move combo, the base energy cost is the cost of using the move on that action and the following action, with all modifiers like STAB and consecutive use penalty factored in.

Treecko tried to use Leaf Storm + Leaf Storm!
It failed!
Twigcko fainted!

Reflect faded!

As Prussia expends a good amount of energy to smack Twigcko, the weakened Treecko begins to gather up all the leaves it can in a beautiful storm of grass, but just a suddenly as it started up it ended, and as Twigcko faints from exhaustion, the leaves harmlessly fall back to the ground! Kingler is finally down to his Cranidos, and with Prussia running out of energy very quickly, it looks like Kingler might come out with a KO in this after all! Of course, Vrin still has that pesky Substitute to protect him, which continues to be a giant thorn in Kingler's side!

If a p/e move is used, use substitute (15 HP) on that turn.
If reflect is used AND substitute is not up, use a Fire Blast+Fire Blast combo a2 and chill a3.

Kingler it's ok to want it fast, but at the same time it hasn't even been 24 hours since Vrin posted :|
Also, due to the wording of the sub, Kingler's sub still activates- Kingler did not specify an action for that sub to activate, so it activates no matter which action Reflect is used on

Ok its time for me to go to sleep at time of writing so you get the tl;dr version: Cranidos rips apart the sub and delivers a face-melting combo that nearly knocks Honedge out, and Honedge gets up another freaking Reflect as well as delivers a pretty big blow to the Cranidos. Looks like Prussia is finally goign down!

Bleh I wasn't looking at that sub properly. Ah well, Prussia did what i wanted it to - lower Cranidos' EN so it's limited in options (or needs to chill).

Chill ~ Sacred Sword ~ Sacred Sword
IF P/E when you would Sacred Sword AND non-consecutive THEN Chill and push back.
IF damaging Fire-type combo THEN Protect and push back.

Orders slightly less lazy this time around, but still pretty lazy.

Fire Blast -> Prussia (16 EN)
RNG roll (to crit) 7671 = no crit
RNG roll (to burn) 3001 = no burn
(11+(2-2)1.5)(1.5) = 16.5 DMG
Prussia fainted!

And with a quick violent burst of flame, Prussia finally bites the dust, leaving the score at 1-1. While the Cranidos still has quite a bit of HP to keep it going, it's quickly running out of energy and is just simply at a major disadvantage against Vrin's next mon, especially if it's Saxony!
