A Doubles Attempt

Please note that this team is for DOUBLES ONLY. Please review it with this in mind. Thank you :D

Meowstic (M)
@ Light Clay
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 Def / 252 SDef / 4 HP
Bold Nature
- Light Screen
- Reflect
- Protect
- Yawn

What? Dual Screens Meowstic? Yes. Dual Screens Meowstic. Never before has a Pokémon been so underrated. It outspeeds Klefki and gets yawn. Something that, when combined with Mega Gengar, can cause mayhem.

Light Screen - Well it wouldn't be a very effective Dual Screener without Light Screen would it? It gets priority from prankster very nice when there's an Alakazam or something breathing down your neck.

Reflect - Dual Screens... Yup.

Psychic - The anti Taunt bait move. Lets Meowstic actually do something if something taunts it.

Yawn - Here we go. Priority yawn is GODLY in double battles. Mega Gengar stops the switch while your opponent slowly drifts away. Cripples literally everything while Gengar takes care of everything else.

Gengar @ Gengarite
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Brick Break
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Bomb

This and Meowstic form the crux of the set. As mentioned before, Shadow Tag stops all attempts to resist the mighty Yawn. Gengar's massive SpA doesn't hurt either.

Brick Break - Why? Because Dual Screens Klefki, that's why. I cannot tell you how many games have been RUINED because of it. I should probably replace it with T-Bolt or something but Klefki scares me too much.

Focus Blast - It should be a crime to run Gengar without Focus Blast. Gets rid of very common threats such as Lucario and Ferrothorn. Also gets through steels that are immune to Sludge Bomb.

Shadow Ball - A nice little stab thing that deals quite well with Aegislash. (If you have reflect up, otherwise Shadow Sneak might murder your face.)

Sludge Bomb - The main form of damage towards everything that doesn't resist it. Nice 90 BP, stab, all the good stuff.

Greninja @ Expert Belt
Ability: Protean
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 HP / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hidden Power (Fire)
- Extrasensory
- Hydro Pump
- Dark Pulse

Greninja makes me laugh. Without Protean, he is a very outclassed sweeper, capable of denting things. With Protean, he becomes one of the most powerful sweepers in the game. Stab for everything in a very diverse movepool. Being able to change your resistances on the fly doesn't hurt either. The Expert Belt is there because you will usually have a super effective move, causing even more damage.

Hidden Power (Fire) - Because I hate Foretress and Ferrothorn with a burning passion.

Extrasensory - A little Psychic stab never hurt anyone. Mostly there for coverage against the likes of Gengar and Fighting types.

Hydro Pump - High power move for times when nothing else is super effective. Talonflame, Tyranitar (sans Assault Vest), and Excadrill are all murdered by this.

Dark Pulse - Another coverage thing. This is actually used more for defense. Just for the temporary Psychic immunity. Also a way to take down things like Espeon.

Salamence @ Life Orb
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Zen Headbutt

I've always been a fan of Salamence. This is kind of a risk reward build. All its moves (With the exception of Stone Edge) have immunities. On the other hand, all the moves are VERY powerful when combined with a life orb. Just make use of the team preview, and wait for the moxies to build up.

Dragon Claw - STAB. Yup. Just make sure your opponent has no fairies before you use it. Not a fun thing to let a free switch in.

Dragon Dance - Sometimes, you just need that little initial boost to get the sweep in.

Stone Edge - Talonflame falls apart if it gets hit by a pebble. Stone Edges murder it. Rock also has no immunities, so you can't be switch bait. Other fliers don't like this one either. Zapdos in particular. I hate Zapdos.

Crunch - Just another little coverage move.

Blissey (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Bold Nature
- Aromatherapy
- Thunder Wave
- Seismic Toss
- Soft-Boiled

Ah Blissy. The bane of many an existence. Takes hits like a champ, then heals away the damage with Soft-Boiled. Aromatherapy is quite fun against Klefki who think you're crippled just because they got a Thunder Wave off.

Aromatherapy - I love this move. Meowstic, Aegislash, and Greninja are severely hindered by paralysis and a burned Salamence is a useless Salamence. Also eliminates the unwelcome Hypnosis or Spore. Also, Chancy doesn't like toxic. So this helps with that too.

Thunder Wave - Because Paralysis is a ****. Nothing likes to be paralyzed. Especially Breloom. What Toxic Orb?

Seismic Toss - Blissy is very easy Taunt bait. Seismic toss, while not the most powerful of moves, certainly comes in handy if a Murkrow or something comes a calling with that blasphemous move. Now I feel smart. Big words.

Soft-Boiled - Chancy simply cannot exist without Soft-Boiled. Well it can. Until you need to heal. I suppose Wish could be used here for support, but I love the instant recovery.

Aegislash @ Life Orb
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- King's Shield
- Shadow Sneak
- Sacred Sword
- Iron Head

A nice little late game sweeper to wrap things up. You may lament my lack of Swords Dance, I also do. Aegislash is an extremely effective sweeper even without SD, but it could help. I simply have no idea where to fit it in.

King's Shield - This is not leaving no matter what. Ever. This is an amazing move. Stops Talonflame, Mega Mawile, Mega Kangashkhan, Garchomp, Infernape, Bidoof... any physical attacker in it's tracks. As long as it makes contact. Also, it switches Aegislash back to Shield Forme, buffing your defenses again

Shadow Sneak - I kinda need this one too. A nice little form of STAB with priority. After an SD boost, this could literally plow through most unboosted enemies... If I had Swords Dance.

Sacred Sword - The slot for Swords Dance is taken by this one and Iron Head. Sacred Sword has saved my life many times against Malamar and Assault Vest Tyranitar. And even once against an Acid Armor Vaporeon. In all honesty, SD should probably go here... But I love this move so much... :,(

Iron Head - The other option to switch in for Swords Dance. This move gets VERY strong after an SD boost. Especially against Fairies like Gardevoir and Azumarill. Also a very nice Tyrantrum killer.

Threats: I've had trouble with Talonflame in the past. If Salamence and Greninja are dead, that guy rips through everyone else even with Reflect up. Assault Vest Tyranitar eats everything except for Salamence's earthquake and Aegislash's Sacred Sword and Iron Head. I suppose Gengar's Brick Break might do something... Maybe... Klefki has little trouble setting up Dual Screens if Gengar isn't out. Anything with Taunt Stops Meowstic in it's tracks and severely hampers Blissy. Ninetails and Charizard leads (At the same time) tear through just about everything with heat wave. And Greninja can't stop them due to sun. Salamence's stone edge proves effective.

Thank you for reviewing. :)

Just one thing for now, why a modest nature and evs in Spattk for moewstic when it doesnt have a single attacking move. Anyone with taunt will easily disable your meostic. Generally for aupport pokemon you want a defensive nature and defensive evs to allow for maximum support so they arent KOd too easily. Id reccomend a bold nature, to up its defense a bit. And find a good attacking move for it and stick it kn there so irs not complete taunt bait.

i agree with the guy above me make your meowstic more defensive and one attacking move is not a bad idea.
if you have problems with klefki put at least one pokemon with taunt on your team so klefki wont be able to put both screens up, or some good fighting type pokemon with brick break can help.

EDIT:
- Meowstic's nature changed to Bold.
- Meowstic's EVs changed to 252Def/252SDef/4HP
- Meowstic's Protect changed to Psychic
- Greninja's Ice Beam changed to Hidden Power (Fire)
- Salamence's Choice Band changed to Life Orb
- Salamence's Zen Headbutt changed to Crunch
- Salamence's Earthquake changed to Dragon Dance

Honestly, this looks more like a singles team than it does doubles. Many things can surive gengar and easily take him out like a magikarp. When ever your gengar is down your team looks crippled. Also, Just sayin' taunt is a common choice.
