well well

seeing as how ive never played 4th gen, im trying to get into it now, and i thought of a fun thing to do

xatu with synchronise and flame orb, switch it into a physical attacker, and refresh

voila

well i havnt even got the game yet, so i dont know if this will work

anyone have any ideas?
 
won't work.

Synchronize only works if it is given the status from a hostile force. IE: Switch Xatu into a T-Wave, both pokemon are PRZ'd then refresh, i guess. It still seems like a waste of a moveslot and prediction to me.
 
If you want to play that concept, Psycho Shift would probably be more effective. Even if Synchronise worked with the orbs, you would refresh, and then at the end of the turn you'd be inflicted with it by the orb, again.
