a good stealth rock user NOT skarmory?

A lot of Pokemon learn Stealth Rock, even some odd options like Celebi and Blissey

Swampert is a great Stealth Rocker, since it's basically only KOed by a Grass move and packs nice resistances (I mean Rock xD)

Gliscor also has nice defensive abilities, so does Hippowdon

Donphan and Claydol deserve special mention for also Rapid Spinning as well.

interested in claydol actually cause I like spin and screen support. can't do much offensively I guess, bit can screen and then stealth rock. hate his weaknesses though (grass, ice, water, dark, ghost, bug. . .6 weaknesses and all pretty common). I guess I could try him out. any other suggestions though, based on personal experience? how does mamoswine fair?

sorry for all the questions, but thanks to everyone who has been helpful so far.

Mamoswine has practically no resistances, and it's better as a Physical Sweeper as far as i know (especially with Expert Belt because Earthquake + Ice Pebble + Stone Edge hits tons of things SE and since you have STAB in the best offensive Types) and i guess that the last move could be Reflect/Light Screen or Curse.

If we do a fraction with resistances/weaknesses between Claydol and Mamoswine...

Claydol = 6/6
Mamowsine = 2/5

Claydol has common weaknesses but its resistant to both Fighting and Rock as well as being inmune to EQ and they are all common.

A very nice thing on Claydol is that it switches into either Spikes and Stealth Rock like if nothing was there :P

ewwww about mamoswine. still, ice shard/eq/se/stealth rock is pretty sweet but weaknesses hurt it (is it the only poke weak to all 3 starter types - fire, water, grass).

guess i'll leave my garchomp killing for weavile (since it also counters zam, gar, zelf, etc. fairly well too).

Blissey could work in theory because it can switch in on almost any special sweeper or staller and SR only needs 1 turn to set up.

I agree with Maestro and Terrick, Bronzong is a great pokemon for Stealth Rock, It can switch in on Choice Banding Earthquakes and the like, and will freely be able to set up Stealth Rock, has great defenses as well.

I've always thought Steelix would be ideal. Steelix could always eat EQ's like nothing if it had to, and with the new physical/special split it eats Fire Punches, Ice Punches, and Waterfalls much better than before.

actually, I think I'll use Hippowdon and go with a TSS team (or something to that wake). None of my friends use that strat so it would be a cool surprise.

Hippo*Lefties
Stealth Rock
EQ
Roar
filler (Ice Fang/Fire Fang/Yawn?)
