A Mid Season Tune Up for my OU team

Well, I’ve been using this OU team for a while and its worked pretty well, winning me almost all games. However, my real problem has been status inducing walls who paralyze, burn ect and that’s when I realized I need a pokemon that could heal bell and use status inducing moves.

Immediatly i thought of Jolteon.

Yes, Jolteonm the same Jolteon that has 60 defense and 95 sp defense, very bad for a pokemon that performs the capabilities of a wall, and usually of a sp attacker.

However, its ability Volt Absorb is amazing. Especially since of all the T Bolts aimed at my Starmie, and my Swampert usually Koed by then, I didnt really have an answer.

At the same time, I was fealing upset about my magnezone, I thought it was going to be all that, but really it wasnt and has never brought anything but a gyarados KO (which starmie can do better) and a paralysis.

So I decided to switch it with Jolteon.

Who would absorb the TBolt and then thunder wave, toxic, or heal bell as it outruns most everything in the metagame.

So without further ado, I will show you my whole team but be warned
I AM NOT CHANGING ANY OTHER POKEMON IN MY TEAM BESIDES MAGNEZONE

That is why EVs for the others have not been added.

Swampert@Leftovers Relaxed
Stealth Rock
EQ
Ice Beam
Roar

EVs: 252 HP/252 Defense/4 Atk
Standard Pert lead, can keep 2HKO Aerodactyl with Ice beam who’ll waste one turn with taunt, and can survive long enough to set up SR later. Is good against heatran, as it can OHKO it without Shuca Berry, and still does good damage even with. Has trouble with Machamp if its hurts itself from confusion twice. Other than that it can handle most other leads.

Porygon 2@ Leftovers Calm
Thunder Wave
Ice Beam
Thunder Bolt
Recover

EVs: 252 HP/216 Def/40 SpA
The Gyarados/Heatran counter, throws their ability back and paralizes them making them either to KO for other pokemon. Easy switch in because of its awesome defenses. Can serve as a special attacker if none are left.

Dragonite@Life Orb Rash
Thunder Wave
Outrage
SuperPower
Flamethrower (No one it expects it but it surprises Celebis, Bronzongs and Skarmorys)
EVs:112 Atk/198 Sp Atk/200 Spe

My MixNite. So many people expect a purely special or physical Nite when I use Draco or Super Power, then they send out blissey or another special wall and I toast them with the Draco or Super Power. Also makes a great switch in to Celebi on a leaf storm aimed at Swampert, the the unexpected flamethrower comes out which has KOed SOOOO many celebis, skarmorys, and bronzing

Starmie@Choice Scarf Modest
Grass Knot
Thunder Bolt
Ice Beam
Surf

EVs: 252 Special Atk/4HP/252 Speed
My late game sweeper that truly owns team unprepared for him. I often get paralyzed or have TBolts aimed at me and since I’m not really TBolt resistant so adding this creative Jolteon set seamed like a good idea.

Gallade@Life Orb Jolly
Night Slash (I like it better than shadow sneak)
Ice Punch
Close Combat
Swords Dance

EVs: 252 Atk/4HP/252 Speed
:D = What I think of this pokemon. Once it has Swords Dance and a majority of the opponent is crippled with Thunder Wave, this pokemon can sweep the whole team with incredible coverage. It attracts many thunder waves which could be taken in by Jolteon

Now for the part I want to change:

Jolteon@Focus Sash Nature:???
Toxic/HP Grass
Thunder Wave/HP Grass
Heal Bell
Wish

EVs: ???

This set is pretty good if used well.

Since it absorbs the thunder attack then heals off SR damage with Volt Absorb, Focus Sash will work. Then with 130 Speed it could outrun, either heal bell, thunder wave, or toxic depending on the situation. Then, if the opponent switched out to something like swampert who can EQ jolteon off or another EQ user, Jolteon can use another move, than it can wish when it has one HP left since it guarenteed to live with focus sash

What I really need help with is the natures and evs. Choice Scarf is not taken into account since if it TBolt Starmie, it would be stuck with that move on Jolteon.

Well, you won't get much help from people if you don't allow them to change much.
And on another note, Magnezone isn't on this team.
Otherwise, Jolteon shouldn't do anything other than attack. Look in the strategy dex for a different set.

Now for the part I want to change:
Lol whut
I would change your Porygon-2 which doesn't really fit into this team, to a choice specs rotom-W. It will fit in much better, and get you vital resistances.

Give your swampert protect to scout for choiced moves and explosion. It is my favorite thing when you protect when they explode.

Ank you guys but you seriously aren't helping on the sixth role. I want a poke that heal bells or aromatherapy while being able to inflict status afflictions.

Now I appreciate The Rotom suggestion and I will put it to use but I would like to know something for a six pokemon.

From your description, Chansey/Blissey would be the perfect pokemon. It can use aroma therapy, which heals all status from your pokemon, it can heal itself and possibly others depending on whether you use wish or softboil, it can absorb statuses (lose the status on the switch out thanks to natural cure), and it can also shoot off toxic and thunder wave.

Blissey @ leftovers
Ability: Leftovers
Nature: Bold
252 Hp / 252 Def / 4 Spe
- Aromatherapy
- Softboiled
- Seismic Toss
- Thunder Wave / Toxic

Is the set I'd recommend. Blissey's a great wall, and matches your description perfectly o_o.

Someone already mentioned Blissey, but Celebi can do that job too

Celebi @ Leftovers
Nature: Bold
252 HP / 220 Def / 36 Spe
-Heal Bell
-Thunder Wave
-Recover
-Grass Knot

I don't like this set being Pursuit/Scizor bait but it comes with handy resistances. If you do care about Pursuit/Scizor Shaymin can do what celebi does w/o the status

Shaymin @ Leftovers
Nature: Bold
~ Seed Flare / Grass Knot
~ Rest
~ Aromatherapy
~ Leech Seed / GrassWhistle / Hidden Power Fire
