A New Team I've been testing

Ive spent some time planning and using this team, I've had some success with it since my opponents haven't been prepared for it

I know it's very bluntly on the offensive side and probably really easy to wall (I'm really impatient) but I would like some feedback, including moveset alterations, pokemon alterations, and teams that can counter this.

Galvantula

- Compoundeyes
- Focus Sash
- Timid
-252 spA, 252 spd, 4 hp
-thunder
-sticky web
-volt switch
-bug buzz

Galvantula is my lead. Primary use is Sticky Web, providing room for the team's (especially Mega Garchomp) lackluster speed. Serving as the team's special attacker and counter to water and grass. Focus Sash and Timid to guarantee Sticky Web usage.

Hippowdon

- Sand stream
- smooth rock
- 252 hp, 252 spd, 4 def
- impish
-earthquake
- rock slide
- slack off
- Stealth Rock

Mixed wall, preferably brought in second after Galvantula's Volt Switch. Primary use of starting sandstorm. Ability to hit hard, heal, and introduce a hazard to back up the auto-weather nerf.

Mega Garchomp

- Garchompite
- Sand Force
- 192 HP/152 Atk/164 Speed
- Hasty/Naive
- Earthquake
- Draco Meteor
- Fire Blast
- Dragon Tail

Basically the brute strength and team focal point. Combines sandstorm buffs, sticky web hazard, and other team member's coverages to succeed. Draco Meteor to surprise a switch-in physical wall.

Barbaracle

- Tough Claw
- Jolly
- 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
- White Herb
- Shell Smash
- Stone Edge
- Cross Chop
- Razor Shell

More strength, placed in team mainly for the water type coverage and shell smash strategy. Powerful sweeper. Counters Garchomp's ice weakness with stone edge and cross chop and the team's major Ground weakness with Razor Shell

Darmanitan

- Sheer Force
- 252 Atk / 4 Hp / 252 Spe
- Adamant / Jolly
- Safety Goggles
-Flare Blitz
- Superpower
- Rock Slide
- U-Turn

Mainly to cover other types, especially grass and ice. Possible revenge killer. Safety goggles to remove sandstorm damage, especially because of flare blitz recoil.

Metagross

- Clear Body
- 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
- Adamant
- Air Balloon
- Agility
- Ice Punch
- Meteor Mash
- Zen Headbutt

After using agility once or twice, engaging as a sweeper. Primary use is to cover ground and fighting weakness that plague the team. Switch-in if a Fairy or Ice type threatens Garchomp.

Thank you for your time

Well first things first: Start a new line when you show the set of the pokemon, it makes it easier to read. Also you need at least 3 lines telling what the Pokemon on your team does for example: Azelf is my lead. It can hit very hard but has bad defense so i put a sash (continues)

You could use a focus sash on galvantula to ensure it gets sticky web off as there are counter leads that attempt to one shot. Just as well use timid over modest to ensure you don't get taunted or to drop a thunder after the web is down or volt switch to give the option of resetting if they spin or defog it away.

You could forgo agility on Metagross for bullet punch priority but really that depends how much you appreciate the +2 speed, investing in speed could make it more useful.
Just my 2 cents

I like Agility for sweeping. Bullet Punch's lack of power is my main reason. Thanks for the input.

Hey there!

This may sound weird, but you could really consider changing this to a UU Team. All of the Pokemon you're using are UU, besides Garchomp. You could simply change Garchomp to, say, Flygon and violà!

Also, you seem to have big weaknesses to Ground, and a little weakness to water. To compensate for this, you could try adding Latios to your team. Here is what I'd recommend:

Latios (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Defog
- Psyshock
- Thunderbolt / Surf
- Earthquake

- Levitate to compensate a little for your big ground weakness
- 0 IVs to minimize Foul Play damage
- Defog to get rid of hazards that affect your team - (in particular Stealth Rocks, as Darmanitan and Galvantula both lose 25% HP to rocks)
- Psyshock for a STAB move
- Thunderbolt for coverage against water-types (which you need), or Surf for coverage against ground-types (which you need even more)
- Earthquake to lure in Latios' common counters (for example: Heatran)

Otherwise, a nice team. Good luck with it!

I would need Rapid Spin over Defog because of my Sticky Web, but right idea!

White herb would be the best choice on barbacle and I think scarf darminatan works as a good scout for your team galvantula should run focus sash if you plan to use it as lead as stated above. The way you have hippodown set up stealth rocks would be beneficial to your team so take out rock slide for them. For the mixed garchomp set fire blast would be the best fire move you can use along with earthquake dragon claw and Draco meteor
