A New Trainer's RMT

Well, I'm helping my friend make his first competitive team. He decided on most of the pokemon, and I made the sets for him, and devised an overall strategy; Please be as nitpicky as possible.

-Lead off with Ninjask, Baton pass to Hera, Pory-Z, or Garchomp, depending on the situation.
-Chain Chomp is simply a monster, a good overall pick
-Porygon-Z's power can get to over 9000 if set-up correctly
-Use Heracross to pick away at the remains of their team in the late game.

-Yes, I'm well aware that Blissey is a whore.

First, you should follow the rules. i would explain but I'm sure Lee will be here sooner or later.

Now, on to your team.

First thing I see is a HUGE mix infernape weak. The only two pokemon that could think of standing up to him are hera and ninjask, because of speed. also, anything with priorety will also shut down your ninjask strategy, especily ice shard.

Now for the smaller things

Ninjask should be your lead

Blissy could use wish over softboiled since chomp hera and ninjask would like the recovery, mostly ninjask.( only if you play on shoddy, it might be hard to get a competitive wishbliss for D/P )

Pory doesn't want leftover due to it being frail, life orb or even expert belt work better in this situation.


If your going to pass SD to chomp then you might not need SD on chomp, dragon claw would work well.

Whirlwind over roar, just in case your opponate has a soundproof pokemon


After a second look, magnezone with explosion is trouble for this team, so you might want to put shed shell on skarmory. I'd use gangar over porygon-z. Its a small power drop and a large speed gain and with hypnosis It will improve your team greatly.
