A newb's UU stall team

Hello guys, I’m relatively new to this, so this set will probably have enormous glaring flaws. Pick away at this all you want, I won’t mind – constructive criticism constitutes improvement, after all. :)

Shuckle – weird lead that could possibly work (252 HP / 120 Def / 140 SpD / Relaxed [+Def, -Spe] / Leftovers)
Stealth Rock
Rest
Toxic
Gyro Ball

The basic plan here is to set up a Stealth Rock, then Toxic the crap out of the enemy. (After all, this is primarily a stall team.) Leftovers is there to facilitate recovery a little; Rest’s purpose is obvious, and Gyro Ball is for moments such as when Shuckle’s my last guy or when the enemy is a fast but weak sweeper (or Froslass). Any other attack would be completely pointless due to Shuckle’s abysmal Attack stat. A bit unconventional, but it could work?

Blastoise (252 HP / 100 Def / 52 SpA / 100 SpD / Modest [+SpA, -Atk] / Leftovers)
Rest
Surf
Roar
Rapid Spin

Roarer and Rapid Spinner. Since Roar is a low priority move, Blastoise’s bad Speed doesn’t really matter anyways; this might be more of a problem for Rapid Spin, but that’s what Rest is for. Surf is a nice STAB move that benefits off of Blastoise’s ability; I considered Toxic or Yawn for this slot as well.

Mesprit (252 HP / 124 Def / 36 SpA / 96 SpD / Bold [+Def, -Atk] / Leftovers)
Thunderbolt
Ice Beam
Psychic
U-Turn

Standard Anti-Sweeper Mesprit. I wanted Thunder Wave, but U-Turn saves it from those darn Pursuit users.

Spiritomb (252 HP / 96 Def / 160 SpD / Calm [+SpA, -Atk], Leftovers)
Shadow Ball
Will-o-Wisp
Rest
Sleep Talk

RestTalking Spiritomb. Will-o-Wisp is nice to have, and he blocks Rapid Spin.

Leafeon (132 HP / 160 Atk / 216 Spe / Jolly [+Spe, -SpA], Leftovers)
Leaf Blade
Baton Pass
Swords Dance
Roar

Relatively interesting Roar user, when I get tired of stalling, I can Swords Dance and pass to Hitmonlee, or just Leaf Blade if Hitmonlee is gone.

Hitmonlee (4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe / Jolly [+Spe, -SpA], Life Orb, Limber)
Close Combat
Mach Punch
Earthquake
Stone Edge

Works really well with Spiritomb, and Leafeon can pass it a Swords Dance. This is basically a sort of sweeper, after the first lackluster stalling half of the set. :P

Please read the RMT rules, especially rule #3.

Rule 3 said:
3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you are having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

This does not mean add one sentence saying "Standard x" or "all-around awesome" after each Pokemon. If you put thought into making the team, you can put thought into posting it.

You need to improve on your descriptions, mainly Mesprit, Spiritomb, Leafeon and Hitmonlee. Have a look at some of the teams in the RMT archive to see what is expected. Try and stay away from 1-2 line descriptions. Explain why you chose a Pokemon, what it does, how does it contribute to the success of the team, etc. If you fix the descriptions properly, PM me the changes and I'll unlock your thread. Thanks.

It would also be nice if you could use the standard format:

6. Formatting. Make your post readable. If the format is messy and illegible you will not be likely to receive help and may have your thread locked. Adding pictures to your post can make it more visually appealing too, but pay attention to rule 11. Here is a guideline on how to post each Pokemon.
