a non weather team that is effective o.O

Hello smogon. i am a 5th gen player after tricking my dad into typing his administrator password into command promt to allow me complete control over my computer(finally-_-. he means well but he is a really really really evasive parent). Well anyways the history of the team. i played shoddy for a long long time long after it was dead and became good at it not amazing but a decent CRE of 1634(my peak). well. when i started playing Pokemon online the weather teams were devastation i wasn't used to such hyper offensive teams EVERYTHING and i mean EVERYTHING was on crack and/or steroids. it got so bad that i moved down to UU and thrived but i missed OU D: so i created a ou version of myUU team because of the best UU revenger/late game sweeper krookodile with moxie scarf.

ferrothorn @leftovers
ability:iron barbs
EVs:252hp 48def 208spD
nature: relaxed
move: power whip
move:leech seed
move:spikes
moves:thunder wave
for this team to shine hazards must be set and what pokemon forces alot of switches and can lay hazards and not be total set up fodder: ferrothorn. i choose spikes over steath rocks because i usually am able to set up no less than 2 out damaging steath rocks on a number of pokes. power whip is the stab move that does decent damage and leech seed if for recovery thunder wave is a neccesity because while ferrothorn is amazing it can be potential set up fodder and it destroys the hope of weather sweepers trying to sweep me

magnezone @leftovers
ability: magnet pull
nature: timid
evs: 36hp 252sp attack 220spe
move:charge beam
move:flash cannon
move:hidden power fire
move: substitute
magnezone was great in 4th gen magezone is AMAZING in 5th gen magnezone can fit on almost every team. this is the number one ferrothorn counter it comes in sets up a sub the hp evs mean your sub wont be broken by ferrothorn with invested attack. proceed to set up with charge beam till you ko it or get plus 6 then flash cannon will dent any so called counters hp fire is for any steels who try to wall you. the set can be changed a little for less sp attack and more hp evs and with an air balloon to be the perfect excadrill counter.

deoxys-D @red card
ability:pressure
nature:bold
EVs: 252hp 252def 8spD
move: cosmic power
move:magic coat
move:recycle
move:recover
this is VERY unorthodox but it works trust me. if you get 2 or more layer of spikes and don't get critted you will win at least 80 percent of the time and that is a guarantee. this can also save your ass from physical sweepers like excadrill the dragons and more.this is a phazer and and effective come in on a non threat set up a cosmic power and keep doing so till they switch to a counter if you know it is a Pokemon with status or taunt magic coat it right back to them and when they attack recycle your item and keep doing so till spikes takes it toll and your sweepers can come in.

swampert @leftovers
ability: torrent
nature: relaxed
EVs:240hp 216 def 52 spD
move: steath rocks
move:ice beam
move:earthquake
move: roar/ boiling water
this spot used to be occupied by a gliscor but i wanted something to phaze along with doexys to help terrakion and salamence and could have a definate move to ko salamences and dragonites with a broken multi scale while also taking a hit. boiling water can be used over roar if you want deoxys to handle all the phazing itself or you want it to sread burn as long as phaze it has great synergy with magnezone as it attracts all ferrothorn leaving magnezone to trap them early it can be also used in the l ead position. plus since moxie is banned in wifi roar is great for revealing the opponents team

Terrakion.png

terrakion @air balloon
nature: adamant/ jolly
ability:justified
EVs:252 atack 252spe
move:close combat
move:stone edge
move:rock polish
move:swords dance
here we have sweeper one rock/fighting is great as you can run double boosting with great coverage rock polish for offensive teams ans swords dance when facing stall this is also a great excadrill counter if they are not carrying brick break which they rarely do. close combat and stone edge are great stabs be wary of priority especially with the close combat defense drops.it is a very straight forward and effective Pokemon

Salamence___Flight_of_Fancy_by_Sajirou.jpg

salamence @choice scarf
nature naive/ hasty
ability: moxie
EVs :252 att 252spe
move:dragon claw
move:stone edge
move:earthquake
move:fire blast
moxie gives this thing a snowball effect if you bring it in late game and deoyxs and the other stallers have done their job just say gg to the opponent becuase you won. sadly you dont get outrage because of moxie but it still gets the job done if you come in on something without full heath. fire blast is for any ferrothorn who yawn and try to come in on the outrage.if you say why not run dragon dance and moxie guess what.. shut up its my set :p
btw it scarfed because i am paranoid of gengars starmies and those high speed pokes

scrafty.jpg

scarfty(replaces salamence thanks to wario is OSSIM) @leftovers
ability:moxie
nature : jolly
EVs:252 att 252sp
move: drain punch
move:crunch
move:ice punch
move:dragon dance
this is a good late game sweeper it has very good bulk with no investment that garantees it a dragon dance against many pokes. the set is straight foward max attak and max speed jolly nature because it needs max speed more than attack due to moxie and left overs becuase of life orb again becuase it will be brought in late game. shed skin can be used if you want to set up on pokemon that inflict status like Wow jellicent thunder wave ferrothorn and much more

Hey, MoxieMence hasn't been released on Wifi yet. You should change Salamence's ability back to Intimidate or swap it out for either Gyara or Scrafty. Just saying. Now, onto the rest of your team.

Ferrothorn: It's Iron Barbs, Not Steel Thorns. Other than that, this Ferrothorn is standard and good.

Magnezone: It's evident that you like Charge Beam's chance of raising Special Attack, but I'd recommend Thunderbolt over Charge Beam for more consistency.

Deoxys-D: Interesting set, similar to the one I've used awhile back. I must say though, how do you deal with Rapid Spinners that are holding a Shed Shell to switch out of Magnezone's grip or Prankster Taunters?

Gliscor: I'd recommend a spread of 244 HP / 176 Def / 88 Spd (thanks to Faladran) and Ice Fang over Facade. The odd HP EVs are to maximize Poison Heal's recovery and the Speed EVs are Speed creep. Ice Fang lets you hit Gengar and other floating Ghosts that are immune to Earthquake.

Terrakion: Can't say much.

Salamence: Read my statement regarding MoxieMence that is in bold tags. I'd recommend changing this to a DD set.

hmm after more playtesting i find that my team doesn't need magezone can some one suggest a pokemon and its set that would have great synergy with my team
