A Proposed Metagame

I have an idea for a new metagame. It would be an metagame for NFEs. Some pokemon just need a place to stay and I have one. Here are some common threats:

Gabite@ Choice band
Trait: Sand Veil
EVs: 255 att/ 255 def/ 4 spe
Outrage
Dragon Dance
Sandstorm
Brick Break
Dragon/Fighting hits everthing except Shedinja for netrual damage at least, and Shedinja is screwed by Sandstorm.

Rattata@ Focus Sash
Trait: Run Away
EVs: none
Quick Attack
Endeavor
Super Fang
 
Not really a good idea. We need more time to think of this and your 2 sets really need work. also sheddy isnt nfe... anyway check this out

I really want to go there the deepest pool in world.

Anyway yeah no real response to thread since this is still discussed very seriously many times over.
 
Why give gabite 2 non attacking moves with choice band as well as an attack it doesnt have?

This is like Little Cup, but for pussies, apparently. Just go play Little Cup at Level 5, it's way more offensive and ballsy.

Kinglerdude, that pool is indeed awesome. That being said, that really has nothing at all to do with Pokémon.
 
True but I didn't expect a serious discussion of this thread and I found this pool which I thought was totally awesome. His stuff is flawed and the idea has been done before. Plus I doubt he gave much thought to it with only 2 sets, a really bad choice band set and a FEAR set already used...

So instead of letting the thread die, you decided to ++ and post pictures of pools? You're a pretty cool guy.

Lugia, welcome to smogon. When you come up with "new" ideas, it's best to try and use the search function before making a new thread. Your idea for "NFE" is just the Pokemon Stadium Little Cup, which is an idea that's been around for as long as it's been in a Pokemon game. Additionally, Pokemon that don't evolve/are in their final evolution are already banned from it (such as Shedinja). Finally, most Little Cup play is held at level 1 or 5, minimizing your opportunity to EV train Pokemon.
 
Your sets won't work. There are also no 'common' threats because there isn't enough play with this for anything to be common.
