A random mucked up team that probably wont work

...But oddly it does.

I was bored, I made this team on shoddy for a laugh but it's been doing great. I do think I only win because of the suprise element of it, But now I've posted this thread you all know what it is... Oh well, I doubt I'll fight many of you anyway.

So without further ado, Here's my team

dpmfa094.png

Gengar @ Choice Band
Adamant Nature
252 atk, 252 spe
Focus Punch/Brick Break
Fire Punch
Sucker Punch
Explosion

Okay, This is one mucked up Gengar. However, I find it quite a good lead. It's good at forcing switches into Blissey, Which means I can (hopefully) out-predict and Focus Punch. Focus Punch should OHKO the Blissey Max defence maybe, Max spd definately, However, If I find it not to Brick Break may help. Explosion kills mostly everything, Sucker punch works for other Gengars who think they are quicker than me, It also works for speedy Psychics. Fire punch is mainly for denting Grasses and steels.

dpmfa233.png

Porygon2 @ Leftovers
Calm nature
252hp, 252spdef.
Trick Room
Thunderbolt
Ice Beam
Tri Attack/Recover

Trace is such an awesome ability, It can ruin pokemon like Salamence, Gyarados and the likes because they get Intimidated. It can also ruin Heatran with flash fire. The possibilities are endless. Trick room is for the slower people on my team, BoltBeam combo is self explanitory. Tri Attack is a good STAB move, But Recover adds in survivability.

dpmfa446.png

Munchlax @ Choice Band
Brave Nature
Thick Fat
252 atk, 252hp
Earthquake
Rock Slide
Zen Headbutt
Return

This is just novelty really, As I said this team was made for a laugh. Earthquake and Rock slide hit quite alot of things, Zen Headbutt Kills fighting types, Gengars and those nasty Grass/Poison types who resist the quakeslide combo. I really like the fact that it has Thick Fat, it's a really good ability considering the presence of BoltBeam is everywhere. This guy does take quite a few hits to take down. I do know snorlax is a much greater choice (Actually, The list of viable replacements is pretty much endless) but this guy is cool.

dpmfsa376.png

Metagross @ Choice Specs
Quiet Nature
252 satk, 252hp.
Psychic
Shadow Ball
Flash Cannon
Hidden Power Fire

Wow, He looks so cool shiny. You might start to see I like ruining great pokemon like Gengar and Metagross by giving them stupid sets which contradict their stats. Anyway, A powerful special sweeper, Especially trick room. Psychic and Flash cannon for STAB, They get quite a good bit of type coverage. Shadow Ball for opposing psychics and Ghosts. Hidden Power fire takes down the Single typed Grassers, and Other steel types. It's mainly in here for the element of suprise.

dpmfsa196.png

Espeon @ Choice Scarf
Modest Nature
252Satk, 252spe
Psychic
Shadow Ball
Hidden Power Fighting
Grass Knot

I know everyone says that Azelf or Alakazam are much better for doing this than Espeon is, But I don't care. I battle with pokemon I like, and sometimes It's fun being at a disadvantage (Especially when you win ^^) Psychic OHKOs alot of things, Shadow ball beats psychics and ghosts. Hidden Power Fighting for Darks and Steel types which would otherwise wall me. Grass knot for all those heavy pokemon in the OU environment and just totally rapes Swampert. It also looks so cool when It's shiny because It's green! Green is my favourate colour.

dpmfa169.png

Crobat @ Life Orb
Jolly Nature
252atk, 252 spe
Hypnosis
Mean Look
Screech
Arial Ace

This set is really odd, But It works most of the time. Crobat is nice and bulky with 80 in both defences. Although, Does Anyone think I should invest some EV's into that to up its survivability? It worries me sometimes that after Hypnosis'ing, Mean Look and screech I've used up 3 turns. They could've woke up by then. One Screech usually ensures the KO on most things, But sometimes I'll need more than 1. That means they could wake up and kill me, Although this Crobat is mainly a wall-breaker. I'm really not sure.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

So that's my team. I'm not that bothered about winning although I'm open to all suggestions, I'd like to know what others think and see what they'd do to change it. Maybe if I think the Idea is good enough I will do it. Who knows....

Thankyou for your time.

stealth rock rapes your 4/6 choice team especially with no spinner. plz replace muchlax with snorlax as it does the exact same thing but better. i think i just might steal this as i am always in need of a good gimicky team that wins. (but of course i am going to replace muchlax with snorlax and espeon with azelf so it actually wins!)

=O, Espeon ownz. Stealth rock isn't much of a concern to me, Nothing particulary dies to it (exept crobat who kinda does) And with the right predictions I can be sweeping teams particularly quick since I do totally abuse choice items. I do have a few variations of this team, Which can have a spinner in there if needed. And this team does win ;p (without Azelf or Snorlax)

just saying that is you replace with those two it could be competitive and not just gimicky. also you might want to change some of the evs because 252/252/4 is usually not the most effective ev spread.

This team isn't really a gimmick, It seems to be doing best out of every team I made. I know about the EV spreads, I'm probably going to alter them slightly, But there's not much really to do about it. 4 or them are choiced, The only pokemon that might benefit from an EV revamps are Espeon and Gengar, Which I probably will change. I'm not quite sure about Gengar, It's just too frail. Espeon might benefit from some changes, And It outspeeds everything anyway so I could probably invest some EV's into Hp or something :P

I don't really bother with the 4, You can just guess where it's going, It doesn't reallly make that much of a difference.

Espeon is completely different from azelf and alakazam. For one thing, they can't save their necks by baton passing their calm minds to bronzong and having the bell Smash everything with trick room+ Psychic/Grass Knot(pwnz0red so much with this combo). The entire team has a trick room feel to it, and i'd keep munchlax since it always brings a surprise to your enemy. You could also switch crobat to donphan, great spinner, benefits from a good trick room.

Uh, what? What? No! Gengar has 65 Attack. That's so pitiful that CB Focus Punch barely 2HKO's Blissey. That stuff does _not_ work.

Other things that don't work: Special walling Porygon2, Munchlax, Choice Scarf Espeon (hi Alakazam! You can do the same thing but outspeed Gengar and Trick Blissey? Does Espeon even get Grass Knot?

Did you just call Crobat bulky?

his team isn't really a gimmick, It seems to be doing best out of every team I made.

I highly recommend giving up on team building and just stealing other people's teams then, as this team is so laughably awful that I seriously think you could just be trolling.

Firstly, CB gengar is for a Suprise Element, Nobody expects it. Many people will switch into a counter only to get owned, Focus punch easily 2KO's blissey...

Gengar and Espeon both have 110 speed, And Espeon should outspeed most Gengars exept the other scarfed ones, Which may come down to a speed tie, In any case I'd switch to Porygon2 on their shadow ball, Then as they switch out I'll trick room up and sweep with Metagross or Munchlax.

Espeon does get Grass knot, And I'm getting the vibe that you're so simple minded you don't know about anything outside of the OU teir, Since you know nothing, You really shouldn't be rating my team.

Munchlax owns, He's cool and fun to use, Nobody expects it.

Okay, I admit, I did call Crobat bulky, But he's not exactly frail.

This team isn't stolen, I've seen nobody using a team like this... And no, I'm not going to give up, This team works for me. You may not like it since it's not all OU, But I can live with that.

Battlerek, Thanks for the feedback. Donphan would fit into my team nicely, I never really looked at him much. He is a good spinner, And will greatly benefit from trick room. He is probably a better version of crobat =P

Fire punch isn't...worth it on gengar IMO. Thunderpunch [if he gets it] Hits gyara, and ice punch [he does get] Will hit mence or chomp. I would also orb him so he can BB/FP blissey then asplode her dead fo' sho'.

Adapt Porygon2's EVs to allow it to take a specsmence Dracometeor [IIRC somewhere in the region of 200] And pile the rest in defence to allow it to be a mixmence counter [Brick break won't do jack after intimidate, I've tried it; and non-specs dracometeor isn't a huge threat. Go with recover too].

Munchlax and Metagross are win. Chaos 9 seems to think 5 base speed is faster than 30...

Espeon kicks ass, As I can confirm.

AS you're going gimmiks, you could try FEAR donphan/phanpy. This should win in a stall war vs Blissey [not 100% though]. Alternatively choice band donphan as a nice physical element to the team.

Overall, it seems fairly special heavy, and I kinda think metagross and Espeon do the same thing =/. I like the fact it's not 100% trick room, as that can ruin teams if they're unable to set up.

Chris is me, You're being kinda harsh IMO:

"Uh, what? What? No! Gengar has 65 Attack. That's so pitiful that CB Focus Punch barely 2HKO's Blissey. That stuff does _not_ work."

It has explosion for a blissey too. Mix'd gengar is like the second most popular set [to scarf]. Why? because it beats blissey!

"Other things that don't work: Special walling Porygon2, Munchlax, Choice Scarf Espeon (hi Alakazam! You can do the same thing but outspeed Gengar and Trick Blissey? Does Espeon even get Grass Knot? "

Munchlax is actually powerful. I've fought this team a couple times.
Special Wall Porygon2 Is the way I use it. Have you even tried it?
Yes, it does get grass knot.
Espeon doesn't scream "HEY, I'M CHOICED!!!" Like Alakazam does [barring counter-sash encore].
