So here is another Sandstorm team :-p. It isnt the regular though and I need your help to take out the kinks!!
So here's a glance:
Ok so its a more offensive oriented stall teamish thing.
Strat-Roserade sets up Toxic Spikes, Ttar gives SS, and Forretress gives SR. The rest are for Support and stuff.
Without a further adeiu....
Roserade * ToxicRose
Item: Focus Sash
Nature: Timid
EV's: 252 Spe 252 SpA 6 Hp
Moveset:
~Toxic Spikes
~Grass Knot
~Sleep Powder/ Hp Fire
~Weather Ball/Hp Fire
Ok so its main job is to set up Toxic Spikes. Now this is the problem. I am not 100% sure on using Sash due to Sandstorm but it guarantee's at least 1 Toxic Spike. I was thinking of using Scarf but I dont feel it because now I'll be forced to switch a lot, and such.
Nextly, Sleep Powder is kinda redundant late game due to Toxic Spikes but might be usefull for Zongs or other levitating steels/immune to TS, but I can use it on the first turn to get in successful TS or two.
Tyranitar* Cataclysm
Item: Choice Band
Nature: Careful
EVs: 252 HP 42 Atk 216 SDef
Moveset
~Pursuit
~EQ
~Crunch
~Stone Edge
Ok ok its Jibaku's Tyranitar....shoot me for not being orginal xD Anyways I really like this set and build. It is also perfect for my team being an offensive stall team.
Heatran* MagmaMech
Item: Leftovers/LO
Nature: Timid
EV's: 252 SpA 240 Spe 12 Hp
Moveset
~Substitute
~Flamethrower/Lava Plume
~Earth Power
~Dragon Pulse
With all those resistances, this is definately a great asset for my team. The ev's give it max neutral SpA and enough Spe to outspeed base 75. I am currently debating however if outrunning base 75 is important since most of them are BL/UU pokemon. Also most base 75 dont even use max speed (probably the most common is Absol).
Anyways the moves give it 100% coverage so thats good. Sub is because there are many pokemon that will switch out so I can Sub up they switch and I get a free hit.
Now for the items. LO gives me more of a punch while Leftovers allows me to maybe Sub up again later which is gonna be useful.
Forretress* Ironhide
Item: Leftovers
Nature: Relaxed
EV's: 252 Hp 252 Def 6 Atk
~Rapid Spin
~Stealth Rocks
~EQ
~Explosion
My Physical Wall. EQ is for those Magnezones and from experience, Infernapes, who seem to think switching into this is safe. The Ev's are because besides this, I am pretty weak on the defensive side. Stealth Rock and Rapid Spin are self explanatory.
Uxie* Acumen
Nature: Bold
Item: Leftovers
EV's: 252 Hp 100 SpD ??? Def
~Reflect
~ThunderBolt
~Psychic
~Rest
Mixape Counter. I just put in SpD to lighten blows from Flamethrower and other Sp. Attacks. I dont know what to do though about Defense ev's though. Should I max it out now?
For the attacks, Reflect for my glaring Physical Weakness, Thunderbolt for Gyarados and Psychic for STAB and for Ape. Rest is for healing. Also in my case it actually not sucky because I sort of have a Breloom weakness also and know it cant go on a rampage because of Sleep Clause.
Lucario* Aura
Item: Life Orb
Nature: Adamant
EV's: 252 Atk 252 Spe 6 Hp
Moveset:
~SD
~Crunch
~ExtremeSpeed
~Close Combat
Excellent for this team! As my opponent gets crippled by poison and as damage start to accumulate, this finishes them off. I am using this over Garchomp atm just because of the fact that it can use ES. Also beats up a lot of other pokemon badly after that SD which I can put up easily because of all its immunities.
Ok now there is the team, however there are some things that I cant seem to fit in here:
1) AntiSpin- Since I pretty much depend on my Spikes, it is pretty obvious that I need a ghost. I just cant seem to fit one in however so I really need help here. My main candidate is Obi's ResTalk Spiritomb
2) Celebi- Celebi is just awesome. It counters Breloom nicely and can support the team with Heal Bell as well as stall with REcover. Again I cant fit it in anywhere.
NOTE: I just FEEL like putting in the aforementioned pokemon atm. I dont find them as a necessity yet. So yeah please comment and all help will be useful.
Thanks in Advance
