Intro:
So after attempting to make a team and realizing it wasnt exactly good, i attempted to make another after doing a little bit more research and familiarizing myself with popular strategies...key word "attempted" but ill let you decide how well of an attempt was made. I additionally tried to clean up my posting format and make it more rater friendly as presentation counts lol.

Zapdos @ Choice Scarf
Timid
4 Def/ 252 Sp. Atk / 252 Speed
-Thunderbolt
-U-Turn
-Hidden Power [Ice]
-Thunder Wave
Zapdos is a great lead, combining a quick pokemon with some great sweeping power, he can out speed and cripple many common leads with thunder wave, hit gyarados with thunderbolt, and can peel out if things get heated up with U-Turn. He also packs HP Ice for dragons if he lives long enough to be able to be switched in when i sense one coming.
Metagross @ Expert Belt
Naughty
252 Atk / 124 Sp. Atk / 132 Spe
-Meteor Mash
-Grass Knot
-Hidden Power [Fire]
-Earthquake
I entirely skipped 3rd generation so im pretty excited to incorporate a few into my team. Metagross makes quite a viable mixed sweeper as his defense is somewhat formidable and his attack is beastly. Earthquake for coverage and STAB, Grass knot for swampert and or Tyranitar, and hidden power fire can take out the other steels. Meteor mash is just a plain out hard hitter. After Metagross has done all he can and shaved down some of my opponents pokemon it allows my sweepers an easier time usually.
Garchomp @ Yache Berry
Adament
252 Atk / 252 Speed / 4 HP
-Swords Dancer
-Earthquake
-Fire Fang
-????
Garchomp is a great physical sweeper, and mine has quite good EV's so that makes me even more inclined to use him. The Yache prevents his disposal through a single ice attack and after even one swords dance he can sweep like its nobodies business. Fire Fang for steels and others, Earthquake for the hard hitter, and im a bit torn over the last move slot. Originally i had dragonite instead of metagross and he used outrage + a berry so that after outraging he wouldnt get confused and taht tore through teams; however a few of the pokemon im still only partial to keeping as ill explain in my outro with some subs i may be making.
Salamence @ Choice Specs
Modest
4 HP/ 252 Sp. Atk / 252 Spe
-Draco Meteor
-Dragon Pulse
-Flamethrower
-Hydro Pump
Salamence has pretty good coverage and durablility. Draco Meteor hits most things hard and Dragon Pulse for dragons as well. Hydro Pump is good for the fires and flamethrower makes a pretty clean KO.
Snorlax @ Leftovers
Careful
244 HP / 28 Def / 236 Sp. D
-Crunch
-Rest
-Sleep Talk
-Body Slam
Snorlax is a pretty good wall, however this is one of the pokemon im torn about subing. Crunch for STAB and cresselia, rest and sleep talk for durability and Body Slam is a pretty hard hitter.
Suicune @ Leftovers
Bold
252 HP / 252 Defense / 4 Sp Atk
-Surf
-Calm Mind
-Roar
-Ice Beam
Calm Mind allows an for an extremely durable Suicune and Roar puts anything i dont want out for a turn at least. Ice Beam for yet another dragon coverage and Surf for the STAB.
In Conclusion:
I like to think of the team being somewhat decent, however i have a lot of potential changes in mind, some of those include:
-Taking out Salamence and Putting Azelf as my Special Sweeper
-Taking out Snorlax and replacing with maybe a Cleric Celebi or Wish Jirachi
-Putting in Dragonite as an additional physical sweeper instead of Metagross
-Taking out XXXXXXX and putting in Deoxys
