A simple rain team - suggestions?

Not the usual fanciness of regular RMT threads - but I would like some suggestions on this team. It's a bit..messy. So..yeah.

Frolf (Politoed) @ Damp Rock
Ability: Drizzle
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Toxic
- Ice Beam
- Perish Song
A staple on any rain team - Politoed does it's job and it takes attacks reasonably well. Damp Rock helps increase the Drizzle time to 8 - or so I've heard, don't think PS! does it which is a shame. But either way, it's a great Pokemon, and it works wonders.

Goopzilla (Goodra) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Sap Sipper
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Modest Nature
- Dragon Pulse
- Muddy Water
- Sludge Bomb
- Thunder

No Rest Hydration? Surly you must be out of your mind. No, no I'm not. I needed a bulky attacker, and something that could helpfully deal with Grass types. Thunder also works wonder in Rain, and it's easy to use and fun. Overall, pretty bulky and fun.

Mr. Mundy (Kingdra) @ Life Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Waterfall
- Rain Dance

Since Swift Drizzle is legal from what I've heard, I figured that Kingdra would work wonders - and it does. It also can be my backup rainer, if Politoed goes down for whatever weird reason. It does damage and it does it nicely and it can set up in the face of anything with DD.

Stoned (Conkeldurr) (M) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Guts
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 200 HP / 252 Atk / 56 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Drain Punch
- Mach Punch
- Knock Off
- Stone Edge

So I needed something strong and powerful other than a rain attacker - after all, if weather goes down, I need a bit of backup. AV Conkeldurr has always been a favorite, I'm running Stone Edge to take care of Flying / Fire types in general, or anything weak to rocks, since a Rain team doesn't need Ice Punch or anything of the sort.

Giant Shrimp (Gyarados) @ Gyaradosite
Ability: Moxie
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Adamant Nature
- Waterfall
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Tail
- Earthquake

Felt like I needed a strong Mega for this team - why not Mega Gyarados? This thing does wonders, it's strong, powerful, and clears up stuff. Dragon Tail is if I need to get something out of there, Earthquake is to hopefully deal with Thunder types. (If Conkeldurr gets it, I'll put that on him instead of SE.) Overall, it does a really good job.

All Burned Up (Heliolisk) @ Leftovers
Ability: Dry Skin
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Surf
- Thunder
- Dark Pulse
- Volt Switch

I needed another good Pokemon to work with in rain, and while Toxicroak was a obvious choice, I went for Helioptile. Reasons being is that it's a really good Special attacker, which balances it out (Goodra is my other, Politoed doesn't count) and it can benefit from rain with Dry Skin. I went Jolly to outspeed most things, and like Goodra, can use Thunder for 100% accuracy in Rain.

This team is a little messy, and the descriptions are a little...rushed, of sorts. But I really need suggestions on this team, as I know it's extremely messy and can be improved on. Much thanks.

Overall it's a decent team, but yes, it appears as though it was assembled rather hastily. Politoed was ONCE a staple on any rain team, but with the weather nerf, that is no longer so. I'd opt for something tankier and more versatile; my personal favorite is Specially Defensive Rain Dish Ludicolo:
Calm Nature
252 HP / 216 SpDef/ 40 SpAtt
@ Damp Rock
Rain Dance
Leech Seed
Scald
Protect

With leech seed AND rain dish set up in rain, Ludicolo becomes very difficult to take down. Scald is very useful compared with hydro pump due to the possibility of a burn and greater accuracy. This Ludicolo really is very good, I use this set myself often. Kingdra's moveset is flawless, HOWEVER the EVs could use some work. Since his speed becomes insane in rain, all those speed evs aren't necessary, and you'd actually want a slightly bulkier Kingdra to assist in setting up rain/dragon dance. Here's the set I run:

Kingdra @ Leftovers
192 HP/ 200 Att/ 116 Spe
Adamant Nature

Better for setting up, still insanely fast, still hits hard.

Mega Gyarados really is a poor typing for this team unfortunately. Water and Dark don't pair well with any other members, really. If you want a good Mega with lots o' power for a rain team, Mega Scizor. The constant rain nerfs fire, his only weakness, something the rest of your team resists. Bullet Punch, Superpower, U-Turn, Roost. Really can't go wrong. His defense also matches Skarmory's, so if you want something to tank physical hits and hit back brutally hard, Scizor's your man. Bug. Anyway, lots of potential here, hope I helped; cheers.

I noticed your team can be slowed down by sticky web, hurt by SR, and spikes. Sticky web affects 5/6 of your team, and SR does -25% on Gyarados.
I would recommend
Latias
item - leftovers
Ability - levitate
Nature - bold
Evs - 252 HP; 128 Defense (allows me to live Pursuit from TTar on switchout); 120 SpDefense
Moves
Defog
Roost
D.Pulse
Calm Mind
This will help get rid of hazards and will provide a strong mixed wall.
I would get rid of Goodra as good as it is but lacks defense, for Latias.
Hope I helped.

Hello.
Your descriptions are too short to fit the RMT rules requirements.
I encourage you to PM me an updated version of this team with beefed up descriptions, and since you're new, to join the Mentor Program. I'll be unlocking this thread after that.

Have a nice day.
