ORAS OU A team I fell for after testing it! :]

Hooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow's it going everyone?! Corey aka MegaMasher is here and ready to present you an epic as hell team that has a video to showcase it's performance in a MUST SEE, I will bet my paycheck on it that it's worth watching! :] this team features a bulky Mega Latias. This team has a couple all out attackers/sweepers while the rest of the team aid each other in tanking hits. Allow me to present you with:

Hippowdon @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Force
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Stealth Rock
- Slack Off

So, this right here is a beast and I mean BEAST when it comes to eating up hits! With it's high HP and defense stat, it's very difficult to take it down on the physical side! We are rocking Sand Force as the rest of the team does not benefit from sandstorm and while facing Tyranitar with Sand Stream, Sand Force will kick in and deal massive damage with Earthquake. Earthquake is there for solid STAB and Stone Edge compliments it with the EDGE QUAKE combo! Stone edge = GG Talonflame :3 Slack Off is there for Healing and Stealth Rock is there for entry hazards that will put pressure on teams that love to switch in and out.

Tentacruel @ Black Sludge
Ability: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpD / 8 Spe
Calm Nature
- Scald
- Knock Off
- Rapid Spin
- Haze

Ahh, if there is any Pokemon I can depend on to tank hits and be a reliable hazard controller, it's Tentacruel! With access to awesome special bulk, it compliments Hippo well since it's not the best at taking special hits. We have scald for STAB and a 30% chance to burn. Knock off to provide a check to pokemon who depend on their items, rapid Spin for hazard control and haze..hehehehe, all them stat boosts get eliminated! :3

Latias (F) @ Latiasite
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Dragon Pulse
- Psyshock
- Recover

The Mega of our team! Mega Latias is a Bulky set up sweeper and with access to calm mind, you can see this thing starting to become a threat and with dragon pulse for STAB, it hits hard and Psyshock allows for it to beat other calm mind users one on one since it targets the physical defense rather than special :] Lastly, we have recover as we are going to need to stay healthy throughout battle! :]

Weavile @ Life Orb
Ability: Pickpocket
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Icicle Crash
- Knock Off
- Pursuit
- Ice Shard

This Pokemon has been long underrated and now finally, it it's an official OU mon! ;] With it's attack and speed with amazing STAB, this thing gives the ultimate FU to the Lati twins as it can threaten them with it's STABS and also, if you think you're gonna switch out? Ahem, pursuit? yeah bye! :P Icicle Crash is very powerful with a 30% chance to flinch, Knock off is there for STAB and the ability to remove items. Pursuit is there to trap fleeing pokemon and ice shard is to pick off weakened Pokemon. We got life orb for extra damage!

Skarmory @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 248 HP / 212 SpD / 48 Spe
Careful Nature
- Iron Head
- Roost
- Whirlwind
- Spikes

Do I even need to explain? Ahh fine! So Skarmory is one of the best known walls in the game since day one! With it's stellar typing with amazing defensive abilities along side it's ability to set up hazards makes this an real MVP in battle! I go for spdef to check Mega Gardevoir, Clefable, Mega Diancie, Sylveon, etc. because without any investment in base 140 def, it still tanks hits very easily! :] So Iron head is for STAB and a great way to dent fairy types as well as it having a 30% chance to flinch and it has NO RECOIL :D Roost is obvious lol. Whirlwind is for phazing as well as racking up hazard damage by forcing switches. Spikes is there to give grounded mons a hard time switching in as they will be taking damage from it.

Thundurus (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Thunderbolt
- Sludge Wave
- Focus Blast

The ACE in the hole! Definitely one of the best wallbreakers there is! With amazing speed and Special Attack, this thing is not to be F***ed with unless you want to have a huge amount of damage done! Nasty Plot gives it +2 spA in one turn. Thunderbolt is for STAB, Sludge Wave for fairies, Focus Blast is for steel types and Tyranitar.

One very notable flaw in this team is the lack of clerical support so having statuses inflicted on this team could prove to be troublesome.

So, my hands feel like they have carpel-tunnel after typing all of this out! I hope to hear from you all and I hope that if there are in need of improvements, constructive criticisms are more than welcomed and encouraged! :]

This is a video FOR A REFERENCE POINT ONLY for the performance of the team!

Hey MegaMasher, this is an interesting team. I have a few suggestions on your spreads and sets to try to team handle some threats a bit better.

Something that poses a huge threat to your team is Specs Raikou and opposing Thundurus, which can easily 2HKO or OHKO every member on your team. To help with this, you should run some SpDef on your Hippowdon to be able to tank hits from both of them and still function well as a sturdy physical wall.

One of the main reasons M-Latias is so dangerous and is even viable as a Calm Mind user is its access to the move Stored Power. Similarly to Espeon on Baton Pass teams, this allows M-Latias to hit extremely hard with no investment, and beat opposing boosters and Special walls with ease due to the power of the move raising as you Calm Mind up. This also bypasses Unaware to be able to beat Clefable and Quagsire easily.

+6 0 SpA Mega Latias Stored Power (260 BP) vs. 4 HP / 252 SpD Eviolite Chansey: 762-897 (118.6 - 139.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+6 0 SpA Mega Latias Psyshock vs. 4 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Chansey: 610-718 (95 - 111.8%) -- 68.8% chance to OHKO
0 SpA Mega Latias Stored Power (260 BP) vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Unaware Clefable: 405-477 (103 - 121.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
0 SpA Mega Latias Psyshock vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Unaware Clefable: 102-120 (25.9 - 30.5%) -- 1.7% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery
+6 0 SpA Mega Latias Stored Power (260 BP) vs. 252 HP / 168 SpD Ferrothorn: 568-669 (161.3 - 190%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+6 0 SpA Mega Latias Psyshock vs. 252 HP / 88+ Def Ferrothorn: 154-182 (43.7 - 51.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
+6 0 SpA Mega Latias Stored Power (260 BP) vs. 248 HP / 192+ SpD Heatran: 542-638 (140.7 - 165.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+6 0 SpA Mega Latias Psyshock vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Heatran: 219-258 (56.8 - 67%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

So you should run Stored Power > Psyshock on Mega Latias. You should also run max speed > physically defensive to be able to outspeed offensive Garchomps, M-Pinsir, Kyurem-B, M-Heracross, Bisharp, etc., and Taunt users such as SpDef Talonflame, Mew, and Gliscor that can potentially stop you in the midst of boosting / cleaning.

I think you should either run Acid Spray > Knock Off on Tentacruel to be able to force out M-Sableye to allow you to be able to Rapid Spin, or Sludge Bomb > Knock Off to be able to actually damage Keldeo and Azumarill. You should also run 56 Speed EVs to be able to outspeed fast SD M-Scizor and Haze it before it can hit you, and also be able to speed creep SpDef Gliscor to be able to Rapid Spin vs it before it can EQ you.

Lastly, I think you should run a spread of 252 HP / 232 SpD / 24 Spe on your Skarmory to be able to take HP Fire from Latios much much better, while still having some speed to outspeed opposing Skarmory to potentially getting a faster Whirlwind.
