A team I worked really hard on.

I thought for a long time with this team. Please take in consideration that Choice/Adherence scarf makes your speed go up as much as 1 dragon dance would. If one dragon dance for Gyarados at 264 speed would make it faster than Aerodactyl etc., Staraptor would be really fast.

Staraptor @Adherence Scarf
Adamant
252 Attack/252 Speed/4 HP
-Brave Bird
-Return
-In Fight
-U Turn

He is a pretty good Choice Bander, with STAB and good moves. He also helps lure in electric attacks, which bring us to my next Pokémon!

Electivire @Leftovers
Adamant
40 Speed/252 Spc. Defense/216 Attack
-Earthquake
-Thunder Punch
-Ice Punch
-Brick Break

I bring him in when I can feel the opponent will use an electric attack. EQ and Thunder Punch are there to address Staraptor’s weaknesses. Ice Punch is for grounds and grasses that think they can get in my way, and Brick Break are for Rocks, Steels, and Normals.

Vaporeon @Leftovers
Bold
252 Defense/130 Spc.Attack/126 Spc. Defense
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Haze
-Wish

This Poké is pretty sweet. It wishes and hazes, and takes care of most annoying dragons and grounds.

Azelf @Choice Specs
Timid
252 Speed/126 Spc. Defense/126 Spc. Attack
-Psychic
-Grass Knot
-Flame Thrower
-Thunderbolt

A nice special sweeper. The Evs in the special Defense are so that it would survive an unexpected special attack. It has nice type coverage as well.

Blissey @Leftovers
Bold
252 Defense/126 Spc Attack/126 Spc. Defense
-Ice Beam
-Thunder Wave
-Aromatherapy
-Softboiled

An awesome special wall that can relieve my team of their illnesses. Ice Beam gets those mean Poogeymen that think they can get Blissey.

Rhyperior @Leftovers
Adamant
252 Spc. Defense/80 Attack/176 Defense
-Hammer Arm
-Fire Fang
-Earthquake
- Stone Edge

A good Physical sweeper, that has the HP and Defense to take on those bulky sweepers, like Metagross etc.

Here is my Threat List. I've eben having real trouble with it lately, so I aplogizze if it is a big mess.

Tyranitar: Vaporeon can deal with it thanks to Surf. Don’t think Tyraniboah is

Gyarados: If it hasn’t Dragon Danced yet, Azelf can easily switch in and T-Bolt it.

Infernape: I do believe Staraptor’s Brave Bird can OHKO it.

Azelf: Blissey can T-Wave it making it easy picking for the rest of the team. Unless it explodes…

Rhyperior: Vaporeon owns it.

Electivire: As long as it doesn’t have EQ, mine can take it down.

Salamence: Vaporeon says hi.

Togekiss Blissey stands up to all its moves and fights back with Ice Beam

Gengar: This guy I might have trouble with… but I’m sure after a T Wave from Blissey, my other team members can pick on it.

Garchomp: Another tough guy beaten by Vapy.

Raikou: Electivire’s EQ says hi

Lucario: I think a flamethrower from Azelf can deal with him

Rampardos: Surf from Vapy says hi.

Tauros: Hammer Arm from Rhyperior deals enough damage to it, and Rhyperior can survive against it.

Starmie: U turn can dent it pretty nicely. Even if it doesn’t OHKO it, it can’t touch me because I’d have to switch.

Weavile: Electivire says hi with Brick Break.

Dugtrio: I can come in most of the time with Vapy.

Alakazam: A U turn can take care of it pretty nicely I believe.

PorygonZ: A brick break from Electivire can stop it well. Electivire doesn’t receive much damage from it either.

Medicham: Vaporeon can stand up to it unless it has Thunder Punch

Staraptor: Vaporeon to the rescue.

Slowbro: Electivire says hi with Thunder Punch

Jolteon: Electivire can deal with it easily.

Aerodactyl: Even though it can do a good amount of damage to Vapy, I believe Vapy would survive and get it with Surf

Snorlax: Hammer Arm from Rhyperior once again.

Zapdos: Blissey can stand up to its attacks, and says hi with Ice Beam

Blissey: Electivire eats this thing up. It can’t Thunder Wave me, and will be at the mercy of my fighting attack.

Suicune: Due to Electivire having quite a bit of Special Defense, it can survive for sometime, and can damage it with Thunder Punch.

Sceptile: Staraptor’s Brave Bird takes care of it pretty nicely.

Slaking: Hammer Arm says hi.

Ninjask: Stone edge from Rhyperior should be good enough.

Metagross: Earthquake from the big rhino should be good enough.

Celebi: I might actually have problems with him.

Jirachi: I’m thinking Electivire can work great against it.

Manaphy: Same situation as with Suicune, except this has less defense.

Why is there 252 sp. def on electivire? Thunderbolt > thunderpunch, cross chop > brick break.

Megahorn > arm hammer on ryhperior. Kinda iffy on fire fang.

Well, since most Pokemon that exploit Staraptor's weaknesses are special, I just don't want him to get owned because something plotted or something.

I use Thunder Punch because he is a pyschical attacker. I use brick Break over Cross chop because a lot of people are talkign about reflect and light screen helpign their team. It also has better accuracy and PP

On Rhyperior, I didn't use Megahorn because I could take care of the Pokemon who are weak to it I've alreayd got covered. Plus, Hammer Arm takes care of annoying normals with high attack.

Three RMTs in a day is excessive. STOP.

By definition a counter has to be able to SWITCH IN. Half of your counters aren't because they cannot switch in. Staraptor most certainly can -not- switch in to Sceptile unless it's on a Swords Dance.

Here's a note to EVERYONE who wants to post a RMT. WHEN YOU MAKE YOUR TEAM, WAIT AT LEAST TWO DAYS BEFORE POSTING IT. IN THOSE DAYS, TRY TO FIND THE PROBLEMS IN IT AND FIX THEM BEFORE PUTTING IT UP HERE ON THE BOARD.
