Forming The Team

260.png

From the start, I wanted a Lead / Anti-Lead that could set up SR, and then sweep. I looked into Swampert and Hippowdon. I decieded that Swampert was better due to coverage. I then needed something that could cover up the grass weakness I gave myself. I also wanted coverage, and power, so...

I got Salamence. In the team, he'll be a DDmance, and i've come up a few myself and disliked them a lot. Salamence + Swampert gives me great coverage, as well as power. With the opponent needing to switch a lot now, SR become a perfect move for this team. I still felt that I needed more coverage, so I went with someone many of you hate.

Now having three of the best pokemon (or so I think), I had great coverage, power and a fair amount of speed. Togekiss is a love of mine, and pisses many of you off. With Serene Gracer on my team, all possible status moves (Like Thunderbolt) become a great option. This, however left me with an Ice / Rock weakness, which can be covered up easily.

Now, having a team of 4 that posses great power, and from what I can tell (move wise), perfect coverage. Lucario holds a special place in all of my teams, because the first time I got him on Diamond, I loved him. I now needed some extra power (lol), and I figured one of my favorite UU's could be thrown in.

With a Ryperior in my team, I have an unexpected pokemon in my team, and a high amount of power (140 Base Attack), and a move-set I found while viewing the RMT (Thanks Tyranitarzone). The move-set has some good moves, but you'll seem them later. With a ground weakness now here, a needed someone to cover that up, so I threw in a Grass-Fighting Pokemon to not only get rid of the ground pokemon, but to inflict status.

Now, covering up all my weakness (I think), as well as haveing perfect coverage (I think), I had a team I was happy with. Breloom when played right can be a menace for all teams. Now, on to detail.

In Detail

The Lead

260.png

Swampert (OMGmudkipz) @ Leftovers
Relaxed
252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def

Stealth Rock
Earthquake
Ice Beam
Surf

Ok, as we can see, I have SR as a Starting move, making opponent debate weather or not to switch. Earthquake, being my favorite move, and having a lot of attack, as well as taking out a lot of types. Ice Beam to deal with pesky flying / grass / dragon. pokemon, and surf to attack the rest.

What to do on the top 10 leads;

376.png

- Earthquake does the job. I'll attack first here, then SR, because he might have magnet rise

487.png

- Is frail, and and Ice Beam / Surf deals with this. Depending on how I feel, I'll SR first if I think he's going to attack, or later if he's going to Taunt, because Swampert is slower than him.

395.png

- Meh, Water / Ground > Fire, so i'll just EQ / Surf.

385.png

- EQ

142.png

- Ice Beam / Surf

260.png

- SR, then either switch, or surf (EQ is too risky, and they my switch)

442.png

- I haven't seen one in a while, but I can surf I guess.

248.png

- Surf, or EQ. No Biggie.

490.png

- EQ LOL

94.png

- Haven't seen one in a while, surf / ice beam, or switch.

478.png

- Surf / EQ

Now, onto my Salamence

373.png

Salamence (Looking for nickname, suggestions please) @ Life Orb
Naughty / Naive (I'm not sure)
232 Atk / 24 SpA / 252 Spe

Dragon Dance
Earthquake
Fire Blast
Dragon Claw / Outrage / Stone Edge

Now, here is a your average DDmance. DD to raise stats, then sweep the rest. The SpA in there is for Fire Blast, to OHKO a Max HP min Def Impish Skamory.

473.png

Now then, Togekiss, a Nasty Plotter, with a slight twist.

Togekiss (Togi-Kissu) @ Leftovers / Lum Berry
Modest
252 HP / 152 SpA / 104 Spe

Nasty Plot
Discharge
Air Slash
Aura Sphere

With Nasty Plot to raise SpA, and then supporting the rest of the moves, Disharge for Water and Flying, as well as to Paralyze, that's my main move for Gyarados. Also, this deals with Blissey, with 2 Air Slashes and 1 Aura Sphere, I can get rid of Blissey. Mainly a sweeper.

453.png

Haha, Lucario~

Lucario (Needs a nickname, suggestions please.) @ Life Orb
Adamant / Jolly
252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

Swords Dance
Close Combat
ExtremeSpeed
Crunch / Stone Edge / EQ / Ice Punch

Pretty good, Swords dance to add attack, then sweep I guess.
I don't know what to pick next, but i'm thinking Crunch.
Crunch = Psychic / Ghost
Stone Edge = Flying / Electric
EQ = Electric / Fire / Rock / Steel
Ice Punch = Flying / Dragon

I'm not really sure.

469.png

Rhyperior (I'm needing a nickname, help?) @ Leftovers
Adamant

252 HP / 80 Atk / 176 Def

Earthquake
Rock Wrecker / Stone Edge
Avalanche
Megahorn

I love this set. It takes full advantage of Rhyperiors High attack, as well as defence. This set is to sweep really.

EQ = Rock / Fire / Steel / Electric / Poison
RW / SE = Flying
Avalanche = Good coverage
Megahorn = Psychics

286.png

Breloom (Nickname?) @ Toxic Orb (I have Poison Heal)
Adamant
44 HP / 252 Atk / 212 Spe

Spore
Leech Seed
Mach Punch
Seed Bomb

Quite clear what to do here, Spore + Leech Seed and then sweep.

Final Comments;

I like this team, it need work, but it's good.

Sorry about the crap format, I had done a good job, and then my computer glitched and that's all I could copy and paste.

I should say that this is for wi-fi, so please no "Jirachi would be better" or Lati's, because I can't get them fast. Unless you want to give them to me, please don't say that.

Thank You for your help in advance.

Other than what august said, Togekiss doesn't even learn discharge, so I'm pretty sure that you haven't tested this team before putting it up for rate, which breaks rule 16:

RMT rules said:
16. Play with your team before putting it up for rate. We as a community cannot emphasize this enough. No one wants to rate the team that you freshly created while eating breakfast or the gimmick you randomly put together. We as a community want teams that have been battle tested so that the obvious flaws have been hammered out.

So this thread is going to be locked anyway.
