This team, if you couldnt guess, relies alot on trick. Its deadly if it can set up properly through surprise, but its very ineffective if it cant. Here it is.
Bronzong @ Choice Band
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/56 Atk/200 Def
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Stealth Rock
- Gyro Ball
- Earthquake
- Trick
This is probably one of the most common leads around. Most people expect stealth rock, so I usually open with that, to keep them off the trail of trick. Explosion is missed in this moveset, but EQ/gyro ball hit hard with CB.
Gyarados (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 72 HP/252 Atk/184 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Taunt
- Waterfall
- Stone Edge
Standard Gyrados set. Mainly for sweeping ability, and covers the threat of CB heracross. Stealth rock is a problem, however, since this team is not packing a rapid spinner.
Cresselia (F) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 108 HP/150 Def/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Trick
- Charge Beam
- Psychic
- Hidden Power [Fighting]
This is a pleasantly surprising set. Its ability to Trick specs, and also dish back pain before it does, is key. Charge beam is for after i trick specs, it can raise its special attack and dish back some hurt.
Scizor (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 200 HP/130 Atk/180 SDef
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
- Pursuit
- Superpower
Pretty good CB scizor set. It hits hard enough, although zapdos is a very effective switch in to this set.
Rotom-w @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/128 Spd/128 SDef
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Trick
- Will-o-wisp
- Thunderbolt
- Shadow Ball
Pretty good rotom set. After tricking scarf, it can effectively cripple sweepers with WOW, and dish back power with tbolt/shadow ball.
Snorlax (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 170 HP/120 Def/220 SDef
Careful nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Curse
- Rest
- Body Slam
- Earthquake
This lax is the anchor of my team. The problem with lax is that it is forced to switch out on such poke as heracross/lucario. Once those poke go down, it is very effective at taking down opposing poke, with curse to bulk it up, and good HP/sp. D to cover the rest
Update to team so far: Gengar replaces rotom
Gengar (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 38 HP/252 Spd/220 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Substitute
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Will-o-wisp
