Hello again and welcome to MiloticRaichu's second RMT of all time! Once again I got sick of seeing the same pokemon day in and day out (yes, i'm looking at you Deoxys-S) and thought I'd make a team to combat these threats as well as some of the oldschool monsters of UU such as Victini and Darmanitan. I've been laddering with this team over the last few days and got to 16th on the UU ladder earlier today. I've yet to lose a game using this team so I thought I'd pass it on. Without further ado, here's the squad!

Reuniclus @ Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Spd
- Trick Room
- Psyshock
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball
The misfit and original basis for my team. I originally wanted to do something involving future sight with the 20bp increase and Reuniclus' scary special attack but found it didn't really work on this team. I tried the standard 5th gen calm mind set as well and found it couldn't keep up with the power and speed of the threats currently in the UUbeta tier. I basically needed a standalone yet threatening pokemon that could deal great damage to everything in the tier, notably the common specially bulky Florges which takes around 60-65% from psyshock. No much else to say here, a wallbreaker through and through dedicated to "outspeeding" dangerous frail threats and denting the sturdier ones.

Empoleon @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 Def
Calm Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Defog
- Scald
- Roar
Empoleon, one of my favourite starters and a great special wall even with the nerf to steel types this gen. It's also pretty unique in that it has access to both stealth rocks and defog (although this seems strange to have both it works in practice after you have seen the opponents team and are able to judge which team will be hurt more by hazards). Another great thing about Empoleon is that it is able to take on the ever common Latias, phasing the calm minder and potentially burning the offensive variants. As my team is fairly offensive in nature Empoleon is often my answer to the common Mega-Blastoise, able to take an aura sphere and retaliate with a torrent boosted scald. This only hurts Blastoise slightly but the chance to burn also greatly helps me to whittle it down to a point where Reuniclus or Haxorus can take it out.

Haxorus @ Lum Berry
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 220 Spd / 252 Atk / 36 HP
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Outrage
- Superpower
- Dragon Dance
The big man himself. How Haxorus ever made it even into UUbeta I'll never know. This thing DESTROYS walls. It's the second part of my wallbreaking core able to smash through common defensive threats such as Slowbro and Hippowdon after a boost or 2 (which is easy to gain due to great typing, slight HP investment and a lum berry). Vulnerable to priority but able to take a sucker-punch at around 60%, this is a fairly standard 5th gen set as well and is often able to clean up late game if troublesome steels and status users are removed or at least dented. Haxorus also has good synergy with Reuniclus as it is often the target of Will-o-wisp giving Reuniclus a free switch in and the team initiative.

Medicham @ Medichamite
Ability: Pure Power
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Jolly Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Fake Out
- High Jump Kick
- Ice Punch
Ah Medicham, I never liked you in 5th gen RU but this Mega-Forme is ridiculous! Dual priority, sky high attack and a stab move that 2HKO's physically defensive Hippodown on switch in. Ice punch is there for the occasional Gligar and Roserade and the combination of Fake out and Ice punch allows me to take out Leavanny and gain my improved speed without letting it get up Sticky web. A lot of people have seriously complained about the usefulness of fake out, saying it's a waste of a move-slot. Let me tell you, when you're facing a scarfed Darmanitan or Victini or Mienshao, Fake out is a nice safety net to have, the combo of the priority actually being able to take out Mienshao after rocks. Like I said this is my main answer to scarfers although it usually means something has to die to get it in safely. A small price to pay for Mega-Cham's power.

Thundurus-Therian (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power [Ice]
Thundy-T....the definition of special attacking power and coverage in UU right now. This thing hit's like a truck and even with the HP nerf this gen, it still does a number on Latias, Roserade, and the less common Krookodile. Not much to explain here, this is my secondary switch in to Mega-Blastoise when Empoleon is in and i'm predicting them to spin. Initiative is easily gained through Volt-switch, also providing important chip damage alongside rocks to allow the star of the show to sweep late game.
Looking at the team so far, many people would thing "Hurhurhur, no dark resists, knock off buff, Crawdaunt and Bisharp infesting the meta-game, this team sucks" Stop right there, the star of the show has it covered, Bisharp at least ;)

Krookodile @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Crunch
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Superpower
The Event, the Monster, the God. Krookodile.
Krook is not an easy pokemon to use, especially with it being choiced and one of it's stabs having common immunities but hear me out. This is not something you bring in early game, you systematically work throughout the game to bait out the levitators and the flying types and force them to take chip damage. Eventually they will go down and when they do, Krookodile is waiting. It's a simple strategy, eliminate the immune (with the Wallbreakers), eliminate the scarfers (with Medicham), eliminate the dangerous priority, and then go for that classic first gen strategy of EARTHQUAKE EVERYTHING! Once it gains momentum this is a hard mon to wall thanks to Moxie. The amount of times I've been sat there after the battle with only my +2 Krookodile left standing would amaze you. This set catches scarfed adamant Victini off guard as well as doing a number on mega aggron and Bisharp, resisting it's only source of priority. The Krookodile sweep is my goal at the start of almost every game, and he only comes out for perhaps the last 3 turns, but nontheless, he's the unsung hero of this team.
There you go. My team, aptly called "All The Threats" is a very good one in practice even if it does look a little hyper offensive on paper. Yes, there are threats that can take out my pokemon in one hit, Mega-Gardevoir being one of the more common ones as I have no fairy resists once Empoleon goes down. However this team is not about walling, it's about smartly picking the least useful mons, sacking them, then bringing in the most appropriate counter. It's all about seizing the opportunity.
Main threats:
- Scarfed Jolly Victini
- Offensive Mega-Gardevoir
- Jellicent (once Thundy-T goes down)
Once again, thank you very much for taking the time to read this and bearing with my rambling in places ;) Any advise, rates, comments are, as always, appreciated and I will try to reply to each one.
