Okay so this is a very close UU match that I had on Shoddy today vs. my opponent, guoguo, so without further ado here it is:
My opponents' team:
My Team:
Pokes that have leftovers: Kangaskhan, GuoGuos' Froslass, Clefable
My text will look like this.
Opponents' text will have an asterix beside it, like so:* and to distinguish the two Clefables
Pokes with Black Sludge: Toxicroak
Well here we go:
Rules: Ladder Match, Sleep Clause, Freeze Clause, OHKO Clause, Evasion Clause, Species Clause, Strict Damage Clause
guoguo sent out Claydol (lvl 100 Claydol).
Shelcario sent out Lunatone (lvl 100 Lunatone).
Claydol used Stealth Rock.
Pointed stones float in the air around your foe's team!
Lunatone used Stealth Rock.
Knowing most Claydol leads their main job is to set up stealth rocks to support the rest of the team and that's that. I too decide to set up stealth rocks during my first turn, to at least have the same advantage as he now has.
---
Claydol used Toxic.
Lunatone was badly poisoned!
Lunatone used Reflect.
A barrier was formed!
Lunatone is hurt by poison!
Lunatone lost 6% of its health.
Now I decided to give my team even more support by setting up Reflect and he decides to Toxic my Rock Moon to give me some trouble.
---
Claydol used Psychic.
It's not very effective...
A critical hit!
Lunatone lost 27% of its health.
Lunatone used Hypnosis.
Claydol fell asleep!
Claydol's Lum Berry cured its Sleep!
Lunatone is hurt by poison!
Lunatone lost 12% of its health.
I have fought GuoGuo before this match and know that his Claydol carried Lum Berry and so I made the idiotic mistake of using Hypnosis on it:(
---
Claydol used Psychic.
It's not very effective...
Lunatone lost 16% of its health.
Lunatone used Hypnosis.
Lunatone's attack missed!
Lunatone is hurt by poison!
Lunatone lost 19% of its health.
He continuously keeps pummeling my rock moon into oblivion but it still holds strong while I again try to Hypnosis, I have no clue what I was trying to accomplish?
---
Shelcario: this lead sucks
Claydol used Psychic.
It's not very effective...
Lunatone lost 14% of its health.
Lunatone used Hypnosis.
Claydol fell asleep!
Lunatone is hurt by poison!
Lunatone lost 5% of its health.
Shelcario's Lunatone fainted.
5-6 him
So here again I hypnosis and this time it hits but it is far too late for my moon to survive any more hits and so he falls out of the sky, like a meteor in outer space. Luckily though Hypnosis did hit though so his claydol is now pretty much useless.
---
Shelcario switched in Nidoking (lvl 100 Nidoking ?).
Pointed stones dug into Nidoking.
Nidoking lost 6% of its health.
guoguo: lol yeah*
Nidoking used Ice Beam.
It's super effective!
Claydol lost 52% of its health.
Nidoking lost 10% of its health.
Claydol is fast asleep!
I decide to send out Nidoking, I know bad prediction but I thought that since he was asleep I figured why not? I opt for Ice Beam which does a hefty amount to the psychic doll and now in KO range, or so I thought.
---
guoguo switched in Froslass (lvl 100 Froslass ?).
Pointed stones dug into Froslass.
Froslass lost 25% of its health.
Nidoking used Ice Beam.
It's not very effective...
A critical hit!
Froslass lost 42% of its health.
Nidoking lost 10% of its health.
Nidoking's reflect wore off!
I manage to hit Froslass for a critical hit Ice Beam so his Froslass is now down to about 1/3 health and my reflect also decides to break down which at this point in this match is bad considering I now only know two of his pokes:(
---
Shelcario switched in Clefable (lvl 100 Clefable ?).
Pointed stones dug into Clefable.
Froslass used Ice Beam.
Clefable lost 41% of its health.
I switch in Clefable as it resists Froslass' Ice attacks and its' ghost moves completely but what I didn't expect to get hit with:
---
Froslass used Destiny Bond.
Froslass is trying to take its foe with it!
Clefable used Flamethrower.
It's super effective!
Froslass lost 45% of its health.
guoguo's Froslass fainted.
Froslass took Clefable with it!
Shelcario's Clefable fainted.
4-5 still him
Destiny Bond, you've got to love it, although I don't at this point as I lost my bulky special sweeper in Clefable:(
---
guoguo switched in Leafeon (lvl 100 Leafeon ?).
Shelcario switched in Swellow (lvl 100 Swellow ?).

guoguo's Leafeon fainted.
Swellow was hit by recoil!
Swellow lost 30% of its health.
Swellow was burned!
4-4 even, for now
I opt to switch in Swellow and looking back it seemed like a good idea at the time when he switched in Leafeon who I lost to last match. I manage to KO the grass fox like thing and move on as things are looking up.
---

Swellow protected itself!
Hitmontop used Mach Punch.
Swellow protected itself!
Swellow was hurt by its burn!

---
Hitmontop used Mach Punch.
Swellow lost 33% of its health.
Shelcario's Swellow fainted.
Hitmontop lost 10% of its health.
3-4 him
He obviously Mach Punches for the easy KO. I've got to get rid of this thing fast.

Nidoking used Ice Beam.
It's super effective!
Claydol lost 41% of its health.
guoguo's Claydol fainted.
Nidoking lost 10% of its health.
3-3 even again
I switch in Nidoking as he resists pretty much everything this Hitmontop set throws at Nidoking and so predicting a switch to something else, I opt not for Thunderbolt but for Ice Beam which manages to get the KO on his Claydol who was pretty much KO bait anyway at this point in the match.
---
guoguo switched in Toxicroak (lvl 100 Toxicroak ?).
Pointed stones dug into Toxicroak.

Shelcario switched in Hypno (lvl 100 Hypno ?).
Pointed stones dug into Hypno.
Hypno lost 12% of its health.

---

Pointed stones dug into Clefable*.
Hypno used Psychic.

---

Clefable lost 38% of its health.
Clefable used Toxic.
Hypno was badly poisoned!

Shelcario's Nidoking fainted.
Hitmontop lost 10% of its health.
Hitmontop is hurt by poison!
Hitmontop lost 6% of its health.
guoguo's Hitmontop fainted.
1-1, tie, but not looking good
Thankfully I got that poisoning on him otherwise I don't think he would of otherwise died except the next turn that he attacked as I now know he has a Life Orb equipped, although I should of recognized this earlier as he was taking 10% damage each turn after attacking.
---
guoguo switched in Toxicroak (lvl 100 Toxicroak ?).
Shelcario switched in Kangaskhan (lvl 100 Kangaskhan ?).
Pointed stones dug into Kangaskhan.
