A VGC Double Dragon RMT

I'm sure you are all aware of the Pokemon VGC rules and how the events work. Lvl 50 doubles teams consisting of only 4 pokemon. The VGC is known for it's tactics and fast paced battles, i can only hope this team fairs well next year.
Unfortunately, i am yet to actually try out this team as I'm waiting for my Salamence to come through the post and then a few move tutors for both him and Vaporeon but anyway on to the team:

Salamence @ Yache Berry
Mild
80 Att / 252 Sp.Att / 176 Speed

-Brick Break
-Draco Meteor
-Heat Wave
-Protect

A Salamence lead has many uses and many drawbacks. On of it's uses is the Intimidate ability reducing the attack of my opponent's Pokemon and the unpredictability of Salamence itself. I could be using a conventional DD Mence for all they know.
A few draw backs are it's base 100 speed meaning it is outsped by the common VGC Garchomp and timid Zapdos. The Ev spread also means i can only outspeed neutral natured Pokemon like Lucario who do not go too well in double battles due to their poor defences anyway.
Yache Berry is to sort out it's ice weakness to defend it from Obamasnow's Ice Shard and then OHKOing it with Heat Wave. Brick Break is on the set as I feared i may have some trouble with Snorlax's high special defence because i only have a single physical attacker on the team. Dusknoir also has a chance to get OHKO'd by a H.H. Draco Meteor if it runs minimum Sp.Def and then finished off by Vaporeon's Icy Wind if it fails.
Should i move all the speed Evs into Hitpoints instead?
My Salamence also has HP Grass 70 but i could not find a suitable move to go over it with.

Vaporeon @ Wacan Berry / Leftovers
Bold
188 Hp / 252 Def / 68 Sp.Att (Signal Beam)
252 Hp / 252 Def / 6 Sp.DEf (Wish)

-Helping Hand
-Icy Wind
-Wish/Signal Beam
-Protect

This is Salamence and my team's support. Helping Hand greatly boosts the damage done by Heat Wave and Draco Meteor. Brick Break also scores a definite 2HKO on Snorlax with H.H. support.
Icy Wind is one of the main moves in this set as it reduces the opponent's speed and hits both Pokemon at the same time allowing Pokemon faster than Salamence to attack first. Signal Beam is an option as it can hit super effective on Obamasnow which would be vital if they are carrying an occa berry to survive a Heat Wave. In occasions when i'd need Icy Wind support, Salamence would protect up and wait it out.
Wacan Berry is a possible item to ensure a switch in for Electivire as it will be OHKO'd by Zapdos's discharge. Leftovers is also an option and so is wish for a useful supporting move.
HP 70 Electric is also available for a possible Wish/Signal Beam replacement.

Electivire @ Life Orb / Shuca Berry
Adamant
4 Hp / 252 Att / 252 Speed

-Thunder Punch
-Earthquake
-Ice Punch/Brick Break
-Protect/Brick Break

This is my teams only completely physical attacker and hits neutral to super effective on many a Pokemon. Metagross is sorted out by Earthquake and Brick Break can offer some nice hits against Heatran and Empoleon even though Earthquake and Thunder Punch can manage but it removes any barriers set up which would make my life so much more difficult. Ice Punch is there because i just feel like it should be to deal with the Dragons of VGC but i lack a real need to keep it at the moment.
This is meant to switch in on an electric move aimed at either of my leads as they are both likely to be targeted by the likes of Gengar, Zapdos and Latios/Latias.

latios.png

Latios @ Choice Scarf
Timid
4 Hp / 252 Sp.Att / 252 Speed

-Trick
-Draco Meteor/Dragon Pulse
-Shadow Ball/Grass Knot/Thunderbolt/Surf
-Protect/Recover

This is my second dragon and probably one of the best in the VGC. It's timid nature and max speed allow it to tie with Gengar after the scarf is tricked away to a now useless Pokemon but with it Gengar will be OHKO'd by Shadow Ball and Icy Wind/Heat Wave will ensure a kill if said pokemon is carrying a Focus Sash. This Pokemon's move pool is quite vast and the choices are just too much for one man to choose from! Draco Meteor allows for a strong hit and run choice scarf hit but if i am cornered down to my last 2 Pokemon, Dragon Pulse is really the move of choice. Thunderbolt hits super effective or neutral on many Pokemon but with Electivire i do not think i should use it but Grass Knot acts as a Hippo/Swampert counter however i am sure Swampert will go down to a H.H. Draco Meteor from Salamence and Hippo can only threaten it with Ice Fang but will take a Draco Meteor and Icy Wind in the process.
Levitate on this and Salamence's flying type make them both candidates to fight along side Electivire as he rips up the ground with Earthquake and cover most if not all of the type spectrum. The likes of Rain Dance Kingdra or DD Kingdra are also outmatched by both Latios and Salamence.

So there you have it! It's my team i plan on beating London's VGC with next year :D But I'm sure you can come up with a flaw hidden away under all this text.
Enjoy! :toast:
