A Wi-Fi Trade Proposition: Win Or Lose?

Wasn't sure where this belonged (the Wi-Fi thread is about legitimate transactions, as opposed to hypothetical thought experiements), so I decided to put this in Firebot.

Let's say we have a group of five individuals. They are: Timmy, Jimmy, Simmy, Limmy, and Rimmy (yeah, the names are whack, especially Rimmy) and all five wish to trade their respective pokes, which they have 2 each. You are, for the express purpose of this thought experiment, Timmy. You, Timmy, are in possession of a shiny, legitimate, perfect IV'd Rayquaza with an adamant nature (let's also assume that somehow the legitimacy of all mentioned pokes has been verified), in addition to an adamant Scizor, with impressive IVs himself.

In fact, here is the list of pokes that each individual possesses, for simplicities sake:

Timmy: Rayquaza, shiny, adamant, perfect IVs
Scizor, adamant,
26/31/28/31/29/31

Jimmy: Zapdos, jolly, 16/3/30/30/23/22
Digglet, jolly, 22/31/31/5/31/31

Simmy: Starmie, timid, 18/31/31/31/28/31
Porygon-Z, timid, 6/18/28/26/23/31

Limmy: Gliscor, impish, 31/31/31/20/30/31
Togekiss, calm, 31/10/31/28/30/31

Rimmy: Tyranitar, adamant, 3/31/10/21/31/31
Sucuine, calm, 15/7/17/26/2/30

Okay, now that that's been clarified, here is the precise sequence of transactions. Due to the bizarre and unexplainable complexities of physical distance between the trainers in this alternate universe where Rimmy is an acceptable name (also, the trainers agreed to the condition that trading be done only under the circumstance that they make transactions in person, since they wish to have some face-to-face bonding while they trade pokes), the transactions cannot be done directly. Basically, one guy trades with another guy to get a poke so they can trade with another guy, and so forth. Now pay close attention smogonites:

Timmy trades his Rayquaza for Jimmy's Zapdos, then trades that same Zapdos for Simmy's Starmie. Limmy trades his Gliscor to Rimmy for Tyranitar and Rimmy uses his newly acquired Gliscor to acquire a Porygon-Z from Simmy. Jimmy decides to trade his Dugtrio for Limmy's Togekiss. Rimmy and Timmy then trade, with Rimmy giving away his Sucuine and Timmy giving away his Scizor. Rimmy really prefers Timmy's Starmie though, so he decides to give up the Scizor he just acquired from the very same Timmy to get it. Rimmy then gives away both his pokes for both of Simmy's pokes. Rimmy, ever the active trader, gives away his Gliscor for Limmy's Dugtrio and then flips both his pokes to Jimmy for both his pokes. Rimmy and Timmy trade Togekiss and Scizor respectively and then trade both their pokes with each other yet again. Rimmy makes a trade, for the final time, by giving away his Togekiss for Limmy's Tyranitar.

And that's that, no more damn trades. It sure was tiring, but we certainly had some nice conversations! :)

Now, as Timmy, in your humble opinion, did you win or lose the overall trade transaction?

I kept my pokemon, but due to the kindness of others, I was able to fill out my pokedex a bit more.

Which, as we all know, is the purpose of trading to begin with.

Well, I think Rimmy is the stupid one, but so is Timmy. Frankly, as Timmy, I would walk in there and be like, I have a shiny rayquaza, who wants to give me their soul. Instead, he trades it for a Zapdos. Though assuming I am following the trading scheme right, he gets the Rayquaza back, though only because Rimmy is the aforementioned idiot.

Ya know, I was hoping people would just see that Timmy was trading away a perfect Rayquaza and instead of reading all the various transactions, assume that Timmy would end up with different pokes and subsequently say that Timmy lost the overall trade, due to the rareness of obtaining such a legitimate, beast pokemon.

It worked perfectly on a sports forum (realgm). I posted up a trade scenario where Andrea Bargnani would be dealt (and if you follow the raps you know raps fans, especially on realgm, are so passionate about bargs and go ape shit when any sort of trade proposal involving him is made, either in agreement or disagreement, though it's been disagreement lately). It wasn't until the third page that someone noticed that every team involved (it was a 3 team trade) ends up with the same players at the end. And even then people just overlooked that guy's comment and bashed me. It took a while before it was solved by the majority (the last few pages were all lols).

Well, that was a waste of my goddamn time, since I was busted by the second reply by someone who took to the time to follow through. I guess I should have tried it on a dumber forum :(. I think I'll go on realgm and do the exact same thing again. :pimp:

Or maybe some Christian website, with a trade transaction involving saints.

Edit: April Fail's Day :/

If anyone cares, my realgm trolling has, again, been a rousing success. The ol' incomprehensible trade proposal gets 'em every time. Link/picture can be provided, as per request.
