Walking Wake dons a fashionable Choice Scarf and torrential rain to crush offensive and defensive teams alike! Even with a Rash nature, Choice Scarf Walking Wake outspeeds every common unboosted attacker, even Modest Deoxys-S, and threatens to OHKO just about all of them with Weather Ball. Common Desolate Land users like Cinderace and Iron Moth are loath to switch into Draco Meteor and Knock Off, while Heatran still gets 2HKOed by Weather Ball. Knock Off takes care of pesky RegenVest users like Swampert and Manaphy, 2HKOing the former afterwards. Flip Turn still generates momentum against Walking Wake’s few reliable checks like Empoleon and Primarina. Walking Wake lacks top-end wallbreaking power, but it can easily bring in physical wallbreakers like Galarian Zapdos and Chien-Pao with a Flip Turn on specially defensive walls. Due to the number of switches it forces and Heavy-Duty Boots it can remove, Walking Wake loves to be on the winning side the entry hazard war, making partners like Great Tusk, Garchomp, and Deoxys-D excellent choices. Slow pivots like Manaphy and Corviknight can safely bring in Walking Wake on offensive threats it can force out like Iron Boulder and Chien-Pao.
