I made this team on Pokemon Showdown and was considering trying to remake it my Pokemon Y. So far they're all level 1 fresh out the eggs. I wanted to know where I could be heading with this if I stuck to it.
Metagross @ Expert Belt
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 120 Def / 136 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Earthquake
- Zen Headbutt
- Power-Up Punch
Metagross I figured could take some hits and hit hard at the same time. I figured he'd be pretty good to toss in at any time in battle.
Charizard @ Charizardite X
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Brick Break
- Dragon Claw
- Flare Blitz
- Dragon Dance
I know I don't need a Mega pokemon, but I figured those will become useful. Charizard Y has more Special Attack, but I was going for an all out attacker being before I had a Garchomp and Salamence that could sweep pretty well. Only thing I think will be a problem is fairies.
Scizor @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch
- Pursuit
- Brick Break
I've used Scizor a lot. Never failed me on any team I put him on. He can take hits as well and is pretty fast. Only thing I didn't like was I could be missing out on Bug Bite, but Pursuit seems just a qualified.
Crobat @ Leftovers
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Cross Poison
- Brave Bird
- Roost
- Taunt
Like Scizor, Crobats are always on my teams. Fast and pretty powerful so I figured why not since I already had a nice Crobat as well on my team I could breed into a even better one.
Vaporeon @ Shell Bell
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 68 HP / 252 Def / 4 SAtk / 184 SDef
Bold Nature
IVs: 30 SAtk / 30 SDef
- Scald
- Protect
- Ice Beam
- Wish
While Vaporeon can't dish it out all the time, I definitely could use the stall in battle. It's helped out before on many occasions.
Ursaring @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Facade
- Protect
- Close Combat
- Aerial Ace
I did want to put a Torterra here, but since Poke Bank isn't out yet, I decided to go along with Ursaring. I figure he could hold his own against most pokemon and the Guts could really come in handy if I play my cards right.
Overall I just want to know if this is good or not. I don't have any hazards but I don't think that'd be too big a deal. Also I want to toss in a Torterra once poke bank does come out, so where should I put him in if so or if I should just keep what I got. Not totally OU, but with a couple test runs they prove solid against a couple OU teams.
