Acid Rain

So this my second time trying to create a weather team i decided to go with rain because of its popularity its a balanced team it's not really stall oriented but not really offensive it sorta in between......anyways lets get down to business

Politoed

<Drizzle
+Wide lens~252 speed/ 252 hp/ 4 spatk
-Hypnosis
-Hydro pump
-Focus Blast
-Perish Song

Of course with every drizzle team you need Politoed this I want to work to shut down any other weather Pokémon focus blast is for Tyranitar and hypnosis hydro pump for nine tales and Hippodown. I max out hp eV’s so he can survive longer and then speed so he can out run Tyranitar I thought there was not enough accuracy so I tacked on a wide lens and now this set looks much more promising. Perish Song is on their just mess with people definitely the most replaceable move on this set.
Toxicroak

<Dry skin
+Big root~252 atk/ 252 hp/ 4 speed
-Sucker Punch
-Bulk up
-Drain Punch
-Substitue

I decided to go on the bulkier side with ev's for this poke because of the lack of defenses. This set is practically the same things you see on conkledurrs just allot more healing and a priority move that better suits Toxicroak. It’s Ideal to get this guy out during rain but he still works pretty fine without (as long as it’s not sunny) I used a big root to boost drain punch’s usefulness.

Tentacruel
73.png

<Rain Dish
+Black Sludge~252 hp/152 def/104 speed
-Rapid spin
-Toxic
-Substitutes
-Protect

This is one of my favorites it’s a stalling Tentacruel. This move set I like to call “protectstiute” with black sludge and rain dish healing one 1/8 hp each turn then using protect every other to get ¼ hp and therefore unlimited substitutes. Toxic makes the stalling effective and rapid spin is there for one reason and one reason alone.

Jolteon
135.png

<Volt Absorb
+Magnet???~252 spatk/252 speed/ 4 hp
-Thunder
-Volt switch
-Shadow Ball
-Thunder wave

I wanted to use thunder’s accuracy in rain, so I thought up this guy I used him because of his ability. Volt Absorb makes so he can switch in on an electric move which my Politoed will be seeing a lot of heal and quickly switch back out with volt switch. Speed and spatk were my choice eV’s for obvious reasons. I am a little disappointed I wish I could use something other than shadow ball and thunder wave in those last two spots if anybody can think of an alternative for this poke please tell me.

Accelgor

<Hydration
+Focus Sash~252 Spatk /252 Speed/ 4 hp
-Rest
-Spikes???
-Focus blast
-Bug Buzz

I can’t believe these aren’t more common on drizzle teams. Focus sash + hydration rest means it’s going to be one tough poke to kill. The thing most likely to take out this guy is a Pokémon with a priority move so I was thinking of using I priority move on him instead of spikes any ideas??? I used an obvious eV spread he’s meant for ko’ing.

Scizor
212.png

<Technician
+Choice Band~252 atk/ 248 hp/ 8 speed
-U-turn
-Bullet Punch
-Super power
-Pursuit

Scizor compliments this team perfectly. Destroying any random hail team i run into and also being able to switch in on just about anything than switching back out with a crazily powered up u-turn. This guy also gets the benefit of having fire weakened due to rain.

So thats what i've come up with please let me know what you think like on a scale of 1 to 10 10 being the best or maybe possible counters to this team that i should worry about. Any help at all would be appreciatted.

Your EVs are off. 250 EVs do nothing, the max EV number is 255, and 252 is the highest effective number. Remember, four EVs give one extra point in tha stat.

Also, use substitute on Croak.

Hypnosis lol. Run specs, try it out, if you don't like it, say why.

<Dry skin

Looks fine, but why big root? I mean I know what it does, but lefties is better.

<Rain Dish

I would run toxic spikes over toxic if I were you, and replace sub with a nice water STAB.

Jolteon is outclassed by Thundurus. I suggest you use him before he goes Uber.

-Spikes???
-Focus blast

haha... Focus sash dosen't make it hard to kill, two hits is all you need. Spikes looks cool, rest is cool too, focus blast has shaky acc, idk what I would put there. Outclassed by VAPPY!

Random hail team? No one runs hail in OU, looks standard set though, keep it.

I give it 7. Not great team building, i mean anyone can build a drizzle team, but it works.
