where were u when the twin towers were kill and when i turned 1 years old
Not to put a downer in a generally happy forum, but the tenth anniversary of September 11th, 2001 is coming upon us. And even though I was young, I still knew something wasn't right when the teachers in class weren't paying us attention (we had cable in the classroom). Can you still remember that exact moment of where and what you were doing? And what you will be doing for the tenth anniversary?

posting in the 9/11 thread at 11:11am sydney time? you, sir, win the internet for today

if there was an elephant in every room of the twin towers, do you think it would still have fallen down?

i think that probabyl the elephants could have held them up, because elephants are large and very strong.
afaik elephants generally don't survive a collapsing 110-story building. this is because elephants have evolved to survive in africa, and not the urban society of early 2000's new york.

by western standards, yes africa is an undeveloped country. but if you visit any of its cities like nairobi, legos, cairo etc you will find that they have skyscrapers, tower blocks, petrol stations and all the other things we'd expect. I think it's a quaint view that it's all just huts and tribes - you'll find many elephants that have set aside tribal living in huts and embraced modernity, including urban dwellings with running water, and perhaps even the nuclear family.
