[SET COMMENTS]
Paragraph 1:
With Acrobatics, Thwackey is effectively able to pressure common grass-type resists such as Golbat and Tangela after a Swords Dance boost without relying on a pivoting move such as U-Turn. Grassy Glide provides Thwackey with a strong priority move, nailing offensive threats such as Electabuzz and Mr. Mime-Galar. Knock Off is useful not only as a coverage option to hit Ghost-types such as Corsola-Galar and Lampent, but it also allows Thwackey to 2HKO its aforementioned common checks such as Tangela and Golbat with Acrobatics after their items have been removed.

Paragraph 2:
It should be mentioned that, unlike Thwackey's other sets, Grassy Seed will be activated the first time Thwackey enters the field, revealing your set immediately. Due to this set lacking pivoting ability, you should be thoughtful about when you send Thwackey in as you will not get the defense boost the second time Thwackey enters the field. Fire-types such as Raboot and Magmar make good partners due to their ability to pressure Steel-types such as Klang that Thwackey may struggle to break through. Magmar also has the ability to threaten defensive walls such as Koffing while Raboot is able to more easily bring in Thwackey with U-Turn. Electric-types such as Electabuzz and Pikachu are able to pressure flying-types such as Golbat and Vullaby with their STAB moves, and Pikachu specifically can also pressure common physically-defensive walls such as Koffing and Tangela with Knock Off, making it easier to use Acrobatics later. Specially defensive hazard setters such as Piloswine, Clefairy, and Ferroseed are useful partners for Thwackey due to their ability to check common threats such as Focus Sash Kadabra and Eviolite Mr. Mime-Galar, which can otherwise cause Thwackey trouble due to them avoiding the OHKO from Grassy Glide.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

More investment into HP instead of Speed gives Thwackey an edge against faster attackers like Pikachu and Raboot, although it may then be vulnerable to more attackers like Roselia and Lampent. Utility options like Taunt or Leech Seed instead of Swords Dance could be considered to cripple Flying-types like Golbat, although the lack of boosting can result in underwhelming damage. Drain Punch can be used on the Swords Dance set to do more immediate damage to Ferroseed, but leaves Thwackey with no way to pivot on common Grass-resists like Golbat, Koffing, and Tangela.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Poison-types**: Golbat, Koffing, and Ivysaur easily switch into Thwackey, and can still function as checks despite potentially taking a Knock Off from it.

**Fire-types**: Faster Fire-types like Magmar, Raboot, Combusken, and Choice Scarf Lampent resist Grassy Glide and easily revenge kill Thwackey. However, they struggle switching in, and can be jeopardized by chip damage from entry hazards making them vulnerable to U-turn.

**Physical-walls**: Walls that resist Grass like Tangela, Charjabug, and Golbat do well to deter Thwackey's sweeping attempts. Vullaby and Galarian Corsola also work, but can be weakened into range of Thwackey if not careful.
