Rejected Add a sleep clause mod to Hackmons Cup

Hackmons Cup is one of my favorite metagames, but when your opponent (or you) get(s) a Pokemon with a sleep move, it's totally busted. There's almost no way to counter it with such randomization, so your opponent can just put all your Pokemon to sleep and there's pretty much nothing you can do about it. A sleep clause mod allowing only one Pokemon asleep at a time would make the metagame much more fun and fair. Thanks for your consideration!
 
what platty said, its the same with wonder guard and certain mons with recovery. some things will just be broken. there are ways to go about dealing with sleep mons, and most sleep moves can also miss so its not the most broken thing in HC imo
 
I see your point, but things like wonder guard are much rarer than sleep moves. I would argue that the commonality of sleep moves and difficulty of countering it are almost strictly frustrating, unlike the fun of getting a crazy ability like that (even when it's your opponent). Sleep clause mod is present in most metagames due to how broken it is, which is why I thought it should be here as well.
 
I don't think sleep in other metagames is comparable to sleep on HC, in constructed having mons wasting 1-3 turns doing nothing is horrible because your opponent can setup on them, or ohko them, or get hazards up...all which is unlikely to happen in hc as sets rarely have synergy and damage dealing is way slower, and then theres also the fact that besides spore all other sleeping moves carry the risk of missing. So yeah, Im against adding sleep clause too

However, since HC is an AG-style metagame, I don't think it makes sense for this to be included in the vanilla format.
