There are types like Psychic, Dragon, Fairy, Flying... that share their type with an egg group or move. I suggest that whenever someone uses, say "/ds psychic, ice" a message appears saying something along the lines of "You are searching for Pokemon that learn the move Psychic, type '/ds pyschic type' to get results for Psychic type Pokemon" under the seach results.
