ADV Endure Salac Metagross (QC 1/1) (GP 1/1)

Metagross @ Salac Berry
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Meteor Mash
- Earthquake
- Explosion
- Endure

Salac Berry + Endure Metagross is a good cleaner on offensive teams that want a late-game cleaner in a similar vein to Agility Metagross that more easily gains the Speed boost against offensive teams that the Agility set can't, notably against +1 Tyranitar and Dugtrio. However, it can also get the boost on Pokemon like Zapdos and Salamence that attack it thinking they'll KO it as it survives thanks to Endure. This ease in getting the Speed boost allows Metagross to clean through offensive teams that have had their Aerodactyl or Jolteon KOed. This set, unlike many other Salac Berry users, doesn't require weather support thanks to its sand immunity. It's also much bulkier than other Salac Berry users thanks to its stats and good typing, making it more able to get into Salac Berry range without needing to rely on Endure. Some good partners for this set include Magneton, which can trap Skarmory, as well as wallbreakers like mixed Salamence and Tyranitar thanks to their ability to lure in and weaken otherwise solid checks to Metagross like Swampert and Zapdos.

First of all, amazing job summarizing the set. I really like how you clarify the difference between the Agility set and EndureSalac one and also its purpose on the team + what archetypes it usually fits.

Just a nitpick; you already mentioned that Mixed Pokémon are great teammates for this Metagross set, but maybe add the reason: luring and weakening Swampert / Steel-types / Zapdos (to a lesser extend).

With that small change implemented, I give this 1/1 QC.
