[SET COMMENTS]
Gloom's typing and Special Defense stat make it one of the best choices against common threats like Corsola and Seaking, and it can even survive super effective attacks at full health from threats like Abra and Ponyta. Sludge Bomb is used to hit defensively weak Pokemon for respectable damage, scoring an OHKO on Abra and a 2HKO on Ponyta and Doduo. Hidden Power Grass is used to hit opposing Water-types like Chinchou, Wartortle, Seaking, and especially Corsola. Razor Leaf is a more niche alternative Grass-type STAB move that can be a strong option versus Calm Mind-boosted Corsola by threatening with a higher chance of a critical hit. Leech Seed can enable progress on threats that resist Gloom’s attacks like Ariados and Koffing, and it also provides safer switches for Gloom’s team. Stun Spore provides Gloom and its team speed control, which can make common threats like Ponyta, Aipom, and Beedrill much more manageable and also enable slower partners like Clamperl to outspeed and OHKO foes. Moonlight is chosen over Synthesis because it is compatible with Leech Seed. Leftovers is chosen to give Gloom additional recovery and longevity.

This Gloom set fits best as a defensive backbone on balance teams that need support against specially offensive threats like Seaking, Flaaffy, and Corsola. Intimidate Mightyena has strong defensive synergy alongside Gloom, helping to deal with otherwise threatening physical attackers like Anorith, Aipom, and Volbeat. Mightyena can also serve to check certain special attackers that threaten Gloom such as Abra as well as other Psychic-types like Drowzee, Exeggcute, and Smoochum. Heal Bell on Mightyena is a great option that can patch up a statused Gloom. Heal Bell Flaaffy is an alternative cleric that can allow Gloom to stay in on more threats like opposing Fire Punch Flaaffy without fear of permanent burn. Gloom’s reluctance to stay in versus Quilava makes bulky Water-types such as Corsola, Seaking, and Wartortle as well as Flash Fire Ponyta strong pairings alongside Gloom. Corsola is another excellent defensive ally that fits nicely on Gloom teams, since the two cover up each other’s weaknesses with their typings. Corsola can be especially useful for helping Gloom switch out from strong Choice Band users like Aipom, Ponyta, and Doduo. Ponyta and Quilava both appreciate a strong switch-in against Water-types like Corsola and Seaking and thus pair nicely alongside Gloom. Stun Spore is an excellent way to enable slower offensive attackers like Clamperl, Cubone, and Rhyhorn. Poison-types like Koffing, Dustox, Ariados, and Beedrill can wall Gloom, especially when it's not running Leech Seed. This makes heavy hitters like Abra and Anorith great teammates to break walls that otherwise slowly deal with Gloom one-on-one. Other physical walls like Flamethrower Koffing can also be great partners to help Gloom better manage Poison-type and Bug-type threats alike. Swords Dance Tropius is another great option that can help manage Pokemon that resist Gloom's attacks, but it can expose the team with a greater Fire weakness. Specially defensive Gloom can unfortunately be exploited as setup fodder in the face of Anorith, Beedrill, and Abra. This makes priority attackers like Ponyta, Volbeat, Doduo, and Meditite great teammates that can alleviate this weakness. Gloom’s weakness to Noctowl offers another reason why certain physical attackers pair nicely with it, like Anorith and Rhyhorn.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
Gloom can opt for Giga Drain for an extra source of recovery but at the great cost of PP in comparison to Hidden Power Grass and Razor Leaf. This can affect Gloom’s ability to last longer versus opposing walls in matchups where PP matters. Hidden Power Fire can be a decent offensive option on a team that needs extra coverage over staying power and also allows Gloom extra firepower under sun. A SubSeed set can be a strong alternative versus slower teams when opposing Grass-types have been eliminated. Toxic can be a great status move choice over Leech Seed and Stun Spore for teams that don’t need additional recovery or speed control.

Checks and Counters
===================
**Physical Attackers**: Choice Band users and setup sweepers alike such as Aipom, Doduo, Beedrill, and Anorith can take advantage of Gloom’s uninvested Defense.

**Fire-type Pokemon**: Quilava and Ponyta both threaten Gloom’s existence with their STAB Fire-type moves. Despite being invested in special bulk to live even Fire Blast from Quilava at full health, Gloom prefers to not have to take them unless absolutely necessary.

**Psychic-type Pokémon**: Psychic-types such as Drowzee, Exeggcute, Smoochum, and particularly Abra threaten substantial damage against Gloom. Encore Abra can lock Gloom into a non-threatening move or simply OHKO a weakened Gloom with its STAB Psychic.

**Noctowl**: Noctowl can tank any move Gloom tries to throw at it and use Rest to remove any status and outlive Gloom. If Noctowl is running Hidden Power Flying, that can put Gloom at even greater risk.

**Poison-tye Pokemon**: Ariados and Dustox can take any hit from Gloom with little worry and can strike back with a STAB Bug-type or Poison-type attack or even Psychic, which both often carry.

**Pinch Berry Users**: Pinch Berry-boosted sweepers like Anorith, Beedrill, Quilava, and Abra can all give Gloom trouble by threatening a sweep that Gloom itself cannot answer to.

Gloom's pair of typing and special defense stats make it one of the best choices against common threats like Corsola, Seaking, and can even survive super effective attacks from full from threats like Abra and Ponyta. Sludge Bomb is used as a strong STAB option that can hit Defensively weak options for respectable damage(provide a couple examples also mention damage on Abra). Hidden Power Grass is used to hit opposing water types like Chinchou, Wartortle, Seaking and primarily Corsola. Razor Leaf is more niche grass stab alternative that can be a strong option versus a Calm Mind boosted Corsola by threatening a higher chance critical hit which ignores any stat changes. Leech Seed can enable progress on threats that resists Gloom’s attacks and also provide safer switch-in for Gloom’s team. Stun Spore provides Gloom and its team speed control which can make common threats like Ponyta, Aipom and Beedrill much more manageable and also enable slower partners like Clamperl to out speed and OHKO foes. Moonlight is a necessary recovery move that every Gloom should have. Moonlight is chosen over synthesis because it is compatible with Leech Seed. Leftovers were chosen to give Gloom additional recovery and longevity. The listed EVs and Careful nature were selected to make Gloom as bulky as possible in it’s Specially Defensive role.

This Gloom fits best as a defensive backbone on balance teams that need support from Specially Offensive threats like Seaking, Flaaffy, and Corsola. A physically defensive partner is needed to complete the defensive core to complete the core. Mightyena and Corsola are both strong contenders that have great synergy alongside Gloom. Ponyta and Quilava both appreciate a strong pivot away from waters like Corsola and Seaking and thus pair nicely together. Stun Spore is an excellent way to enable slower offensive attackers like Clamperl, Cubone, and Rhyhorn to name a few.

Give me AT LEAST 1 (could be more) sentence highlighting Corsola as a fantastic partner with Gloom.

Give Mightyena another sentence about Heal Bell so it's not strictly stuck alongside Corsola when you mention it.

Mention Flaaffy as heal bell support allows Gloom to 1v1 Flaaffy without fear of Fire Punch Burn. This should go after the sentence about Mightyena Heal Bell usage.

Mention other physical walls like Koffing and Tropius.

Give Koffing its own sentence mentioning that if Gloom lacks Stun Spore Koffing makes as an excellent Check to Beedrill.

Poison-types like Koffing, Dustox, and Tentacool wall Spdef Gloom especially if it lacks leech seed. Mention pokemon that can somewhat take advantage of these poison-types such as Tentacool, Dustox, and Noctowl.

Mention Priority users such as Ponyta, Volbeat, and Doduo as Gloom is often Substitute bait for Pinch Berry users

Gloom can opt for Giga Drain for an extra source of chip heal but at the great cost of PP in comparison to HP Grass and Razor Leaf which have 24 and 40 PP respectively in contrast to 8 PP for Giga Drain. This can affect Gloom’s ability to win the long game and go the distance versus opposing walls in matchups where PP matters. HP Fire can be a decent offensive option on a team that needs extra coverage over staying power and also allows Gloom extra firepower under sun. A SubSeed set can be a strong alternative versus slower teams when opposing grass types have been eliminated. Toxic can be a great status move choice over Leech Seed and Stun Spore for teams that don’t need the chip heal and speed control.

Checks and Counters
===================
**Physical Attackers**: Choiced Band users and setup sweepers alike can take advantage of Gloom’s uninvested defense. Threats like Aipom, Doduo, Beedrill and Anorith also require strong defensive teammates to support Gloom.

**Fire Pokemon**: Quilava and Ponyta both threaten Gloom’s existence with their STAB fire. Despite being EV’d to live even a Fire Blast from Quilava from full, Gloom prefers to not have to take them unless absolutely necessary. This makes bulky waters such as Corsola, Seaking and Wartortle a strong pairing alongside Gloom or even a Flash Fire Ponyta.

**Abra**: Psychic Types but Abra in particular can give Gloom a lot of trouble. Encore Abra can lock Gloom into a non-threatening move or simply OHKO a weakened Gloom with its STAB psychic. This makes Mightyena a great option to allow Gloom a safe escape away from Abra alongside other Psychic types like Drowzee, Exeggcute and Smoochum.

**Noctowl**: Noctowl can tank any hit Gloom tries to throw at it and use rest to remove any status and outlive Gloom. If Noctowl is running HP Flying, that can put Gloom at even greater risk. Physical attackers like Anorith, Aipom and Rhyhorn can help Gloom get past Noctowl.

**Bug/Poison Types**: Ariados and Dustox both can give Gloom a lot of trouble. Both can take any hit from Gloom with little worry and can strike back with STAB Bug or Poison type attack or even a psychic which both often carry. Gloom really appreciates teammates that can eliminate these threats such as Anorith or Quilava and Ponyta. Gloom teams also appreciate cleric support in Mightyena to deal with any status that is passed on to Gloom or it’s partners.

Instead of saying Bug/Poison types split this into 2 Checks&Counters. One talking about Poison-types and the other talking about Pinch Berry users like Quilava and Anorith.

Good Work 1/2. Teammates section is fairly lacking given that Spdef Gloom pairs so well with a lot of different stuff and is checked by other common stuff. Keep this in mind going forward.

Gloom's pair of typing and special defense stats make it one of the best choices against common threats like Corsola, Seaking, and can even survive super effective attacks from full from threats like Abra and Ponyta. Sludge Bomb is used as a strong STAB option that can hit Defensively weak options for respectable damage, like an OHKO on Abra, 50%-60% on Ponytail (Ponyta, but just say it 2hkoes), and 43%-51% on Aipom (usually we just say ohko or 2hko or 3hko. maybe just swap in doduo here and say it's a 2hko vs it). Hidden Power Grass is used to hit opposing water types like Chinchou, Wartortle, Seaking and primarily Corsola. Razor Leaf is more niche grass stab alternative that can be a strong option versus a Calm Mind boosted Corsola by threatening a higher chance critical hit which ignores any stat changes (you dont need to include this because crits ignoring boosts is dex information which doesnt need to be stated). Leech Seed can enable progress on threats that resists Gloom’s attacks (mention names like ariados and koffing) and also provide safer switch-in for Gloom’s team. Stun Spore provides Gloom and its team speed control which can make common threats like Ponyta, Aipom and Beedrill much more manageable and also enable slower partners like Clamperl to out speed and OHKO foes. Moonlight is a necessary recovery move that every Gloom should have. (fluff) Moonlight is chosen over synthesis because it is compatible with Leech Seed. Leftovers were chosen to give Gloom additional recovery and longevity. The listed EVs and Careful nature were selected to make Gloom as bulky as possible in it’s Specially Defensive role. the name of the set being specially defensive is enough to let the reader know why the evs and nature were selected

This Gloom fits best as a defensive backbone on balance teams that need support from Specially Offensive threats like Seaking, Flaaffy, and Corsola. A physically defensive partner is needed to complete the defensive core to complete the core (this sentence is just a bit too extra, you go into defensive partners next to complete the core so explaining it beforehand isnt needed). Mightyena with its intimidate has strong defensive synergy alongside Gloom (why? because it checks what for it?). Heal Bell on Mightyena is a great option that can patch up a statused Gloom. Flaaffy is an alternative heal bell partner that can allow Gloom to stay in on more threats like opposing Fire Punch Flaaffy without fear of permanent burn. Corsola is another excellent defensive pairing that fits nicely on Gloom teams. The two cover up each other’s weaknesses with their typing (combine these two sentences into one, use "since" to bridge them together). Corsola can be especially useful for helping Gloom pivot out from strong Choice Band users like Aipom, Ponyta and Doduo. Ponyta and Quilava both appreciate a strong pivot away from waters like Corsola and Seaking and thus pair nicely together. Stun Spore is an excellent way to enable slower offensive attackers like Clamperl, Cubone, and Rhyhorn to name a few. Poison types like Koffing, Dustox, Ariados, and Beedrill can wall Gloom, especially when not running leech seed. This makes heavy hitters like Abra and Anorith a great pairing to break walls that otherwise slowly 1v1 Gloom. Other physical walls like Flamethrower Koffing can also be a great partner to help Gloom better manage it’s Poison and Bug type threats alike. Swords Dance Tropius is another great option that can help manage Gloom’s offensive resistances but can expose the team to a greater fire weakness. Specially Defensive Gloom can unfortunately be abused as setup fodder in the face of Anorith, Beedrill and Abra. This makes priority attackers like Ponyta, Volbeat, Doduo and Meditite a great pairing that can alleviate this weakness.
