Hey guys, i decided to make a aegislash and slowking galar balance team because it sounded like a cool idea to do!
And, so i did it!
Enjoy!
**IN-DEPTH ANALYSIS**
Aegislash @ Leftovers
Ability: Stance Change
EVS: 68 HP/ 108 ATK/ 252 SPA/ 20 SpD/ 60 Spe
Rash Nature
-Shadow Ball
-Shadow Sneak
-Close Combat
-King's Shield
Aegislash is a dope mon and has a good amount of resistances and 3 immunities it also can check a good amount of mons (buzzwole, pheromosa, clefable). The 68 HP and 20 Spdef lets you live non specs shadow ball spectrier and you can kill it with shadow ball and then shadow sneak. 60 Speed lets you outspeed the likes of tyranitar, corviknight, clefable, magearna. The rest was into physical attack. Aegislash is pretty fun to use on this team and can put in work if you know how to use it correctly.
252 SpA Spectrier Shadow Ball vs. 68 HP / 20- SpD Aegislash-Both: 234-276 (84.1 - 99.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
Slowking-Galar @ Choice Specs
Ability: Regenerator
EVS: 86 HP / 68 Def / 252 SpA / 44 SpD / 60 Spe
Modest Nature
-Future Sight
-Ice Beam
-Sludge Wave
-Fire Blast
You, may be asking why specs? Well, i think choice specs is a very slept on set. The thing can hit very hard and the only mon walling this set is heatran. Future Sight is so damn good in this meta and gives off pressure to the opponent. Although it does suck you gotta switch out when you use future sight it wouldn't really be a problem since mainly the opponent has to go to a dark type and you can switch in something super effective against it. Its a very goddamn good set. For the evs, 60 speed on slowking galar outspeeds 22 speed melmetal and you can OKO with fire blast. 86 HP and 44 Sp Def lets you live a non modest specs shadow ball from dragapult and you can OKO it with ice beam. The rest was dump into defense. I really wish specs slowking-g rises in the future (heh).
252 SpA Choice Specs Dragapult Shadow Ball vs. 86 HP / 44 SpD Slowking-Galar: 288-342 (81.8 - 97.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
Mandibuzz @ Heavy Duty Boots
Ability: Overcoat
EVS: 248 HP / 62 Def / 142 SpD / 56 Spe
Careful Nature
-Roost
-Defog
-U-turn
-Knock off/Foul Play
Mandibuzz provides as a good defensive pivot, ghost resist, defogger, and checks a good amount of mons (rillaboom,Dragapult, spectrier, latios, urshifu(single strike). Mandibuzz is very important to the team. I mainly wanted it to be specially defensive so it can tank spectrier hits and hex as well as special hitters. Knock off and foul play are very good on mandibuzz, but i just don't know what to choose lol. So, yeah mandibuzz does super great on this team and can put in the work. 56 speed is to outspeed crawdaunt.
Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVS: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe
Bold Nature
-Moonblast
-Soft Boiled
-Stealth Rock
And, so i did it!
Enjoy!
